Location is in the center of town. Breakfast is always the best hotel breakfast in town. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy. Rockers on the front porch are relaxing. Beds are comfortable. Good size balcony.

Rooms are definitely dated and dark. There are only 2 outlets in the room but the clock has a couple on it too. There was no mini fridge to put our dinner leftovers in.

Absolutely everything!!!! Perfect location, exceptional breakfast, both rooms we had were perfect, everyone at the Inn was kind, helpful and willing to take the time to explain anything we asked about. We are in our 70s and have traveled all over the world and we would rank our stay with you right up at the top for an overall perfect place to stay!!!

that we had to leave to go home!!!!!

Location made this the best place to stay in Gatlinburg. Staff was friendly and accompanying. Breakfast was great.

My only complaint, no refrigerator or microwave.

Staff were fantastic, the lady at reception was kind enough to help me print out a parking ticket for the park. Parking was easy and it was close to everything.

Not the fault of the property but I was woken at around 4am from the bin wagon emptying the large bins full of beer bottles at the bars next door, it was so loud and I even got out of bed to look out of the window thinking it might of been a bear trying to break into a car. After that I couldn’t sleep properly and it kind left me exhausted the whole day in the park which was unfortunate as I had a long drive to Carolina after the park too.

If you're looking for historic charm and great hospitality, this is the place. Every single staff member we saw was friendly and had a chat with us. The inn is gorgeous and cleaner than most modern hotels we've stayed. The breakfast is fresh and plenty. Right in the middle of gatlinburg action but back off of the strip so you're not bothered by road noise. Parking is for guests only which is a huge plus. Will make this an annual trip.

No in room fridge so bring a cooler. When it gets busy you can hear the hallway noise but not a deal breaker.

The Historic Gatlinburg Inn is a beautiful property with an excellent location and staff. The hot, homemade breakfasts are better than any restaurant around. Our car was always safe in the gated parking lot and the guard kept away riff raff and bears! We’ve stayed there for years and love it. LOL

While the bed had clean fresh sheets and the bathroom had great clean towels, it needed a deep cleaning- nightstand lower shelf was dusty, bathroom mirror and door had dust collecting on the edges and the door hinges. Shower was clean. One of the door hooks was missing.

I love the location in the middle of the Parkway. It sure makes sightseeing easier! Got to watch the parade and fireworks from the front porch. Loved the included breakfast every morning, as well as the free onsight reserved parking. Loved the free coffee, hot chocolate and cookies available by the lobby, as well as the drinks and snacks for sale. The people here are awesome!

I wish there had been a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Stairs between floors are pretty tall and steep for older folks. Glad there is a good elevator available!

It is so relaxing and like you were staying in an old lodge. Right in the middle of downtown but when you step inside it is peaceful and quiet.

Need to improve their pillows. Most people I seen, brought their own pillows so I assume they had stayed before

Loved that it felt like walking into a time capsule. The whole atmosphere of the hotel just encapsulates the feeling I have always loved about Gatlinburg. The bathrooms are updated and nice. The bed was okay not the most comfortable hotel bed but not the worst. The breakfast seemed nice we didn’t eat any but we were on 2nd floor and could smell it and it smelled amazing. The location is unbeatable, right smack in the middle of the strip and you get to avoid all the parking fees. Lovely places to sit inside and out they had a small fire outside that I found useful while waiting for the cold rain to let up. The staff were so sweet and they gave us a little pastry as a parting gift when checking out. It was delicious as well!

The rooms are not sound proof at all. We could hear almost everything our neighbors were saying and doing. I was awakened many times to people either stomping above us or people talking/laughing next to us. This is somewhat expected from an old hotel but if you are a light sleeper definitely bring a sound machine or ear plugs. The hotel had what I would describe as a “old” smell not musty or anything and we got used to it. Again, expected from an older hotel. Not deal breakers by any means.

The breakfast was excellent, biscuits gravy eggs bacon waffles orange juice chocolate milk coffee and much more. Got the "cracker barrel" country porch look with rocking chairs and fireplace. Very charming unique place to stay. Location is right on the main street between Puckers and Sugarlands, which is definitely a plus. Walking distance to everything.

I wish there was other doors to exit in and out of. A man called and told us to quiet down around 730am. Very awkward considering we only had cmt videos on about 14 volume and a hair dry on. Parking is very tight. One way in one way out.
