We honestly loved how close it was too downtown we have been to Gatlinburg every year but this year we decided to save money not get a cabin we settled in downtown instead and we are both so glad we did we seen two bears up close it was amazing we went Monday through Friday it wasn't crowded it was so peaceful we ate lots of food it was a nice little get away for us

Overall, the hotel was GREAT! 🎉 The location was perfect, and the fact that the hotel was new made the stay even more enjoyable — everything felt clean and modern.

The stay was comfortable overall, but there’s room for improvement. The breakfast options were very limited and got repetitive by the second day — more variety would’ve made a big difference. Also, the laundry setup was inconvenient, with only one washer and one dryer available. A full laundry room would have been much more practical, especially for longer stays.

The hotel is fairly new, very clean and it's just a short walk to downtown. I looked at a lot of hotels and read a lot of reviews when trying to book a hotel. A lot of the hotels looked dated with dark carpeting and dark bedspreads. Then I came across Comfort Suites Gatlinburg Downtown.There's something about walking into a hotel room and seeing fluffy white bedspreads and lots of bright lighting. The room was very clean. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that there was a sitting area with a sofa. My family had gone for a hike before checking into the hotel and I actually sprained my ankle. It was a blessing to see the sofa with the table and ottoman so I was able to elevate my ankle and ice it. We couldn't have asked for a better room.

We came to Gatlinburg for a soccer tournament last minute. I reserved the hotel Friday afternoon and we arrived at 2:00 am Saturday to check in and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. The location was convenient close to major attractions and the Rocky top sports world soccer fields. The room was very clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. Even though there wasn’t many choices for breakfast, the food was always fresh and delicious. The lobby and elevators were always clean and smelling good. There is a guest laundry room that was very convenient since I had to wash soccer uniforms. The indoor pool was big enough not to feel crowed and the water was warm. We have another soccer tournament in November and will definitely be staying here again.

There was not enough waffle makers at the breakfast area. The hotel should definitely invest in another 2-3 waffle makers. On out last day there was a long line of people waiting to use the waffle maker and we were not able to get any waffles.

Close to downtown. Within walking distance

The hotel was located in a good location. Close to the tourist stuff but far enough away to not be by all the noise and distractions. The hotel was very clean and good size rooms. The breakfast had a pretty good selection to pick from

EV charger was crazy expensive. It was fast charging prices for slow charging. They should have also said it was pay to use. They let any one park there, especially lazy gas powered car people, so don’t expect the spots to be open. The parking lot spots were super small. Anyone with a bit truck didn’t fit.

Very clean and modern look. Had nice views of SkyLift and SkyBridge from both the bedroom and the breakfast lounge. I enjoyed the Belgian waffle bar, although there is the option to walk a minute across to the Log Cabin Pancake House for a grander breakfast.

Just nitpicking here... - There could have been other types of fruit besides bananas at the breakfast table. - The yogurt in the fridge is Yoplait which contains bioengineered ingredients, which I personally avoid. - The butter in the packet was a little hard to spread. - There was no microwave in the breakfast lounge although there was one in my room.

The facility was very nice and up to date. The staff was very friendly. The room was very nice and roomy. My only complaint with the facility is the lack of roomy parking. The spaces were too tightly spaced. I do have a complaint with Booking.com however. A frequent problem I find with searching for places to stay is the complete disregard of my filters when searching for wheelchair accessible rooms. We showed up to our booking to find that the room was not wheelchair accessible as requested through booking.com. And, there were no more rooms available. Thankfully the room was spacious enough for my wheelchair. But, the bathroom was not. And, the were beds were too high. Booking.com should do better with this issue! But, I would highly recommend the hotel itself.
