Great location in the heart of town yet cozy and quaint. Cute decor. Nice fire pit out front with adorable chairs- we sat out every night. Like the fact that we had blue towels ad grey sheets. Usually hotels have bleached thin towels and sheets. Microwave and fridge also. Can't wait to come back!

The unit (#19) was so cute and was just as pictured online. The windows were able to be open and the door had a screen door so we could leave the hard door open to enjoy the mountain air. It was the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Our unit was right by the creek and we were able to sleep with the windows open and listen to the water, it was amazing. The staff was very friendly.

Not enough storage for suitcases or bathroom items. That's it!

We’ve stayed here several times—-even as a child in the 60s! And we will definitely be back again. The owners now are wonderful. The rooms are immaculately clean. This motel is like going back in time. It’s not fancy; it’s whimsical. Rooms have wood paneling, and the front porches have rocking chairs. The motel is a couple of blocks to the main strip, so easy walking to it. I also love that your car is right outside your door.

I left a “nine” for two reasons. First, the seal at the bottom of the toilet leaked. There was an unpleasant odor in the bathroom due to this. Second, insulation in this motel is lacking. We had to turn the heater up to 81° to keep it warm enough.

Employees were exceptional! The room was clean and comfortable. Overall...great little retro motel that has been updated for rooms to look like a cabin inside. I accidentally left my wallet by the pool. The owner called me and returned it without anything missing...no cash gone, no activity on any of my cards.

I get cold because my husband likes the room to be a refrigerator. I pulled the extra blanket from the drawer and it was not freshly washed. There was pieces of crushed candy or something on it. It was late so I decided to tough it out and not bother the owners. I'm sure they would have corrected the situation if I had.

The room was very nice, clean and big enough. We weren't expecting more. The extra table/chairs in the room came in very handy. The outdoor pool was a wonderful surprise as it wasn't noted in the amenities. Nice seating areas outside by the little creek that ran by We were looking for a place walking distance to the main street and this was perfect. I read the reviews and all in all it met/exceeded my expectations. All in all very nice comfortable stay. Friendly guests as well.

The only thing was there wasn't anywhere to put your bathroom items but we managed with the xtra table..: )

My goal was inexpensive and clean. I wanted to show my daughters what staying in a motel with no extras was like. I failed! This was the CUTEST place! Everything was super clean and so nice. It appears to have been recently updated. There are seating areas next to the creek. There is a pool that was clean. Its walking distance to the strip. I walked down every morning for coffee and we walked down several times for shopping. Never had to pay for parking, since we were so close.

The bed was firm, but some may like that. The pillows were small, but thankfully I brought my own. The parking lot was small, but my mid size SUV fit into the space, a large suv would have trouble. But those are me being picky.

Very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed and there were chairs on the outside porch. There was also seating near the creek so you could sit and relax while listening to the sound.

There wasn't much I didn't like. The refrigerator didn't get cold enough for me but did keep drinks cooler than room temperature. The bathroom has a pedestal sink with a small shelf over it which leaves little room for tooth brushes, hair brushes, or anything else you would possibly set near the bathroom sink, but definitely not a deal breaker.

The location is great, about a 5min walk to the village and anakeesta. Bed was very very comfy. Lovely warm and cosy log cabin feel. I loved sitting on the outdoor swing watching the trolleys go by. We are from England, UK and this was our first visit to Gatlinburg. We hope to return, it really was an incredible stay. I couldnt recommend enough.

Towels were a little fusty/damp smelling when used, even though they were clean and you could smell the detergent, recommend new towels.
