The location was next to many resturant’s and stores.

The breakfast. They could swap a few items out for a little healthier item. Also, it would have been nice when we checked in, if the front desk person would have put us on another floor as the young girls softball team were on the same floor as us. It was noisy and that’s fine, they were having g a good time, but we were tired and had driven for hours in bad weather !

All staff were very pleasant and friendly. The gentleman setting up the breakfast was outstanding! He kept everything well stocked and clean and was very kind and polite and went out of his way to ask everyone if they needed anything or if they needed help. I hope the hotel tips him behind the scenes. Maybe you could put a sign up or a tip jar? He did a GREAT job and should be compensated properly as food wait staff.

Being so close to the ice/vending machines and elevators and being on the second floor. I heard all the hallway noise and noise above me. Also, the TV was painfully slow to change channels. You press the button, then wait and then it changes and then you have to do it again.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The front desk staff was so helpful and considerate and that is so important because those are the first people who set the tone for the weekend. The gentleman who ran the breakfast was so nice and friendly and kept the breakfast opened a little longer because we did not realize that there was one and we had a late start. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the room was a great size. I already booked for Parent's weekend. I will continue to book there because my kids go to JMU and it's location is close to campus and their apartments.

Unfortunately I left my new iPad in the room when we left. I followed up with a call several hours later and they found it and kept it for me to pick up on my return trip. The two young men at the front desk were more than delightful - efficient, courteous and humorous.

Breakfast sorely lacking- there was no batter for waffles even after waiting about 20 minutes. My husband then poured a bowl of cereal (only bowl that was left) only to find the milk container empty. We had two small blueberry muffins and coffee.

We loved the warm welcome we received from Wendy, the excellent location just near the highway and across the street from restaurants and the above average breakfast.

The room needs repair, we found a mildewed area near the shower that the curtain doesn't shield from water and the cabinet with the refrigerator was crumbling and damaged inside the door at the bottom.

The front desk person was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. We had requested extra regular coffee in our room( no decaf) but it wasn't in the room. She had it ready for us when we got back from dinner.

The bathroom was too small.. Also I think the filter in the ac probably could be changed. Once we turned it on, there was a musty smell in the room

The nice, big fridge and extra clean bathroom were my favorite things! The bed was okay...I always prefer more pillows than a hotel offers, but that's just a personal thing. The breakfast was pretty good...the eggs were cold, but one of the employees came out to apologize for that, once he realized the warmer wasn't turned on.

An extra roll of tp would have been good...the one on the holder when we arrived was nearly gone, and we finished the other one that was in the room.

Just a quick overnight stop; room was small but manageable for a family of 4. We only needed a place to sleep shower and shave so it worked. Bathroom was tiny. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was great and we enjoyed a nice egg, sausage, cereal/oatmeal and biscuit breakfast. Location was ideal to just walk across the street for dinner after a long day in the car.

Bathroom was so small. The sink had a fluorescent light which was both glaring and horrible for make up application but for just an overnight it was workable.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.The breakfast was good. The location was great. It was close to restaurants and shopping areas.

The light over the vanity was very dim. I could not see my reflection very well at all in the mirror. In the shower, a large amount of the water was coming out of the faucet instead of out of the showerhead.

Booking.com overbooked the property and so the hotel did not have my reservation for two rooms. Fortunately, they had ONE room due to a cancelation that they gave me and comped the cost for my trouble, which was all the fault of Booking.com and not them. The staff was friendly and helpful in the face of my obvious irritation, and I am so thankful they found us a place to stay.
