The hotel is excellently located for the city centre. Easy public transport to and from the centre. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great they have thought of everything, you can really have a feast! Rooms are kept very clean. Enjoyed a great evening meal and the proportions were very good.

I felt the building was a bit tired , and the furniture in the room needed updating. The mattress was too soft, so I didn't get a good night's sleep, but that may be just me as I suffer with arthritis and need a firm bed. The bathroom was very small, and also, it was a bath with shower over, and I only just managed to climb in (arthritis again!) So a few things to check up on if you are an arthritis sufferer.

A lot to like. The quality of staff was excellent - reception restaurant and even usually not customer facing room cleaning staff. The room was very clean and cleaned and serviced regularly. The all you can eat breakfast was also excellent with very good choice and gluten free options. Used the pool, jacuzzi and sauna which were all very clean and very good. Locally the park and ride into Norwich is 5 mins away by car or a 15 minute walk. The Tesco superstore a 5 minute walk and Kens chippy, the Yuan Feng Chinese take away and the Marsh Harrier pub all 5 minutes by car.

The mattress was a bit soft for my preference

Sausages at Breakfast 😬..... Service and the rest of the produce on offer were fantastic. But the Sausages were not very good at all. Tried the normal and the Cumberland, to be honest not much difference.. both tasteless and the outer skin very tough, so tough in fact that the insides squeezed out before the knife cut them (sometimes, not every time). Sausages are not expensive, with the cost of the breakfast I am sure there must be a better option?

Although it’s not the newest of hotels, it is very clean and presentable. The staff all fantastic. I’ve never come across such a professional, polite, attentive and obliging crew anywhere. (It’s like they actually enjoy their work 😉) If they’re on a bonus scheme I’d endorse 100% for all of them. Evening meal was 10/10 as was the accompanying beer and wine. We opted for a late room service breakfast and on checking found our card hadn’t been collected. Rang reception and no drama at all someone came and collected our card and breakfast was delivered as ordered. Breakfast in bed!!! You don’t get that at premier inn. Breakfast all super, only moan MrsKPJ said the vegan sausages weren’t very nice. However she didn’t go short

What I don’t like is it’s too far to drive just to pop out for lunch or a lazy dinner. Otherwise it’s spot on.

We needed to stay close to the hospital so it was everything we needed. The staff were amazing. We thought we would be too late for food (only by 5-10 mins) but we was told that if we were quick the kitchen said they would still take our order. The room was comfy and clean. The toiletries smelt nice. The breakfast was good and there was a good selection. The spa area was nice and mostly relaxing. The checkout was a good time (12 noon if I remember right) so there was no rush to get out. I will be staying here again.

the only down side was that a child from the swimming club that was in half the pool was messing around in our side of the pool till it was time for his class.

Very comfortable bed. Good sized room. Efficient air conditioning, easy to control. Breakfast was great, excellent scrambled eggs! Staff worked quickly and unobtrusively, keeping tables cleared, cleaned and buffet continually topped up. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and obliging - nothing was too much trouble. I liked the pool, enjoyed having a swim before breakfast. Bus stop nearby with regular service into town.

Unfortunately, the time we were there, the steam room was out of action and for two of the days, the jacuzzi was too. Would have been helpful to have information available about bus services into Norwich, and locations of bus stops.

The staff were friendly and very good. the room was ok and had good facilities. The location of the Hotel was a little out of the town but the buss routes and recommended Taxi were very good. The hotel served excellent breakfast and the service was superb.

The bed was far too hard, I didn't really sleep well for 3 nights, the staff kindly provided a feather quilt for me to lay upon but unfortunately this didn't work. We had a small problem with back flow of waste in the bath, whilst the staff dealt with cleaning this up quickly the problem wasn't solved and the following evening it occurred again but on a much smaller scale. I shouldn't really mention this as it was so minor but it happened.

Nice friendly staff, good size room, plenty of options for breakfast (even a separate section for gluten free and vegan) which my partner appreciated and good facilities. The location of the hotel is good for access into Norwich centre just a short drive away.

The mattress although a good quality/brand (hypnos) is a little bit too firm for me but obviously a very personal thing. For others may be just right. Also the bathroom was rather small but only a minor issue really the size of the room made up for it.

The bathroom in the premium room was too small, had to straddle the toilet to open the door. Poor finish on the bathroom door and shower grout. Big blue stain on carpet outside our door that was always wet. Staff not very helpful at breakfast, coffee machine was broken but couldn’t get help as the only staff member was having a 20 minute chat about last nights antics at the bar. The pool was shut on the first day we arrived Breakfast was poor quality, dry bacon, over cooked eggs and hash browns. Apple juice was more like water with hint of apple flavour. Not hotels fault could have been dealt with…kids running up and down the corridors playing ‘ding dong ditch’ as they call it, at 23:30 at night whilst parents are drinking in the bar.

The staff at the check in desk were warm and inviting, providing us with all the information we needed of our stay without bombarding us with too much. The directions to the room were clear too. The room was spotless - perfect temperature too The addition of having access to the pool and spa as part of the stay was great too We didn't opt for the breakfast as at £16 pp it seemed a little excessive but there is a Costa and Greggs only 2-3 min drive away so we grabbed breakfast there Check out time was also later than alot of hotels nowadays which was lovely Free parking was a bonus too Close to town centre too - 10-15 mins - full of great restuarants
