Great location - we wanted to visit Norwich and Bury St Edmunds and also went to Southwold. The beds were comfortable and the property had a nice garden and a cafe - we didn't use it but it would be handy for breakfast. Car parking was easy and it was straightforward finding the room and accessing the key. Great shower and the room was extremely clean. There's no wardrobe and no hangers - obviously this isn't an issue for most people but there are hooks and I had folding hangers so all was well! The owner was contactable via text and responded quickly to questions about fish and chips!

The room was very hot. Windows are sealed and the only way to let cooler air in was to open the door. The owner has put a tower fan in but it wasn't a comfortable place to be in warm weather. There is also some sort of alarm/monitor on the ceiling with an extremely bright green LED that lights the room up at night - if you like to sleep in the dark, take an eye mask! That said, the beds were very comfortable and we did generally have good sleep.

The location was perfect for us and with the Dove not serving evening food, there was another pub only a few minutes walk away, so that served our purpose perfectly. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything that could be needed. Even a mini fridge was in the room, which actually turned out to be very helpful.

We did mention this to the owner, so he is aware and is looking to rectify it. Having an electric shower in our room, the very low water pressure caused the shower to constantly cycle from very hot to cold, making it difficult to shower.

The room was spotless and very well decorated. Modern facilities and refreshments provided. The host was easily contacted and helped straight away. Property allows dogs at no extra cost with a beautiful garden. Breakfast in the tea room was also fantastic and lovely staff all round. Good parking, even with a larger vehicle.

The electric shower wasn't the best, but otherwise the bathroom was really nice and totally spotless. There wasn't a bar/restaurant (not sure if it's just temporary) but that didn't really bother me as I was travelling for work.

Half of the bed was extremely uncomfortable thankfully I chose the right side! The temperature of the room was extremely hot had difficulty opening the windows but messaged the owner and gave us the details on how to open it. Unfortunately no difference in temperature when opened. The fan that was supplied wasn't of any use. Temperature of the water was hit and miss but due to the weather the cold shower was quite welcomed

The Dove is situated on a main road, which for us was ideal as we were out house hunting during the day. The staff here were really friendly and helpful, we enjoyed chatting in the tearooom. The room was a good size and very clean. We were lucky that there was food available the night we stayed.

The bed was a bit saggy (one of twin beds), there was a private Abba event on during the evening that we couldnt attend, so it was a bit noisy. Breakfast started at 9:30, which for us was a bit late.

Parking on site is always value for money. No one wants to walk to far from the car. The room was a good size along with facilities TV, kettle etc. we had a fridge which was a bonus. They have a old car meeting there on Thurs nights which was quite pleasant.

I choose inns for a reason but there was no evening meals being made. Although I'd asked for breakfast,we decided to leave early as we had quite a way to go to our last stay.

The rooms were really modern and well equipped, the bathroom was lovely and spacious. The whole room was spotless and well decorated. The staff were so welcoming and caring and made sure we got into the rooms with ease.

The whole property is beautiful and in the perfect location for our needs. We found the mattress a little firm for our liking but everyone is different and it’s difficult to cater for everyone’s choice in mattress!

The team were super friendly and helpful, but not excessive, so just about perfect. The rooms and apartment had everything we needed. Location is good and very easy to find. Lots of choice for breakfast and evening meals.

There was nothing really, clearly lots of effort had gone into the standard of decoration. But it is an older building and some floors weren't quite level or doors didn't consistently shut. The bathroom had a lock but it was fiddly, so did open unexpectedly but just a minor point.

We received a warm welcome when we arrived. The room was very spacious and even though it faced a busy main road it wasn't noisy. Staff were all friendly and food was great, always served promptly and always hot.

Nothing to dislike about The Dove Inn. We would definitely stay there again. We were lucky to see a great live band perform there.

Lovely room in great location with use of big garden in the good weather. Also liked having a fridge with complimentary water & soft drinks.

We slept well, the beds were comfortable, but they are beginning to dip in the middle. Hopefully the mattresses will be replaced fairly soon.
