Its location beside the airport, beside the bus stop to get into local towns, buses went from the airport every 15-20 minutes offering a 24hr service. Hotel was clean, staff very friendly, rooms had air conditioning which was a welcome addition as weather was fabulous. Staff, particularly Sophie W, were very helpful with advise, booking transfers. In general all staff we met throughout our stay were very welcoming and helpful. A good choice of fresh ingredients for breakfast every morning. Rooms were refreshed daily. Would recommend the hotel as it is a good base to stay and travel from.

The only downside is having to wheel our suitcases to the airport. We’ve stopped at this particular hotel on numerous occasions, and an excellent hotel it is, however, now we’re getting older it’s a bit of a tow dragging cases up to the airport past the petrol station. Personally, I think this calibre hotel should provide a shuttle bus, this is the only downside for the many guests that travelling with hold luggage.

We needed help with our bags as there is no lift to the first floor, but we were advised to request a ground-floor room next time. My fault for not checking when I booked! There was only the tail end of a toilet roll left in the bathroom. Not wanting to join the long queue at the reception desk, I rang reception and room service from our room but there was no reply on either number. Just as well there is a box of paper tissues in the bathroom too. While I realise that It was a busy weekend, it does seem a very basic item to be short of!

The staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was ready on arrival, and they provided extras for the festival eg. poncho and earplugs. There was very little noise. The bathroom was a shower over the bath - good for a soak. The reception rooms are well decorated and pleasant to use. The breakfast, sandwiches and evening meals were good quality.

The swimming pool was being used for children’s lessons at the only time I could have fitted in a swim, and I was no pre-advised that these were scheduled. The pool smelt very chlorinated compared to other pools I currently use.

Used the hotel prior to an early business flight the next day. Selected it due to the fact that it is on the airport and you can walk to the terminal. Also booked the short stay #1 car park as this is right next to it and this made logistics easier. Staff were great, had a drink and some chips in the bar. Didn't have any other food but the menu looked okay (think Wetherspoons). Skipped breakfast so can't comment on that. Room was good - clean and tidy. Quiet so decent sleep until alarm went off at 4am. WiFi worked fine. Based on other hotels at other airports I've used, the price was reasonable. Would certainly use again.

The staff in the bar at the hotel were very friendly (particular shout out to Salem!). The pizzas which my group ordered to share were a good size and value for money. Hotel location for the airport was exceptional - simply a 5 minute walk. The hotel were able to accommodate my request for a ground floor room, which proved very helpful as one of our group was taken ill with breathing difficulties, and the reception staff helped us call for an ambulance and were helpful and supportive throughout.

Our stay was incredibly brief, but there was nothing to complain about at all.

Grubby bath taps and plug area - slimy black stuff so not new. Dusty skirting boards in bedroom. Dusty/not so clean kettle and tray. Being tutted at by housekeeping staff when I asked if they could give me half an hour to take a phonecall in my room. I had been out of the room till around 1.30pm and was out again from 2.00 till around 5.00. I was tutted at, off they went and they did not return so; no clean towels, no tea and coffee refills. Shame as the rest of the hotel staff were pleasant.

Looked & smelt really clean immediately upon arrival. The reception staff were attentive, friendly, professional & efficient. The cleanliness in all of the areas I saw was excellent. Very good sized well equipped rooms too. Quiet room which was surprising given the proximity to the airport. The waiting staff & bar staff were lovely - quick, efficient & friendly. Infact all of the staff gave the impression that they worked as a united team & nothing was too much trouble. I don’t tend to post reviews but on this occasion a good review is well deserved. Thanks to everyone concerned.

Hard to find any fault but if anything I would say that the room numbering was very confusing (other guests commented about this too). Other than that nothing . Very impressed.

The room was gorgeous although I had a bit of trouble with the air con but the staff were extremely good at sorting it out. The bed was amazingly comfortable - real quality. I only stayed one night as I was catching a flight. I didn’t have breakfast, but the evening meal was disappointing. I ordered the steak with pepper sauce. The sauce was very very watery and the steak overcooked. The parking is great, and the hotel is a five minute walk from the airport.

The bed was comfy, and dinner was good.

The drop-off situation. It wasn't clear from entering the hotel grounds that you had a grace period for drop-off, but you had to have the hotel validate the parking ticket. It should be made clear on the instructions on the ticket machine and just before what the time limit is. Many others were also confused by the notice of £15.00 for up to an hour. You could tell the hotel staff had heard this complaint time and time again, but the parking had nothing to do with them as it was a private car park.
