A true 5 star hotel in every, single respect. - Gorgeous room - wonderful, wonderful staff in every area - little extras around every corner that delight (eg. Art, the best elevator (please never change), gestures of staff, nothing too much trouble, beautiful welcome) We will definitely be back.

The suite is incredibly luxury, with nice sea view including the cidetal. The stay include light dinner and breakfast. Please dont miss the food! Rana also helped with blankets and heater. Thank you and all staffs here again! Hope we can visit here in the future!

Every single detail! We were welcomed wonderfully by a very smiling and gentle Ucranian employee who offered us with a drink and some finger food. We were subsequently upgraded to a much better room and offered a royal breakfast! The hotel offers its guests an awesome tea time with finger food and drinks every day from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in one of its majestic rooms on the first floor. The location is also perfect. As for the sky view restaurant on the fifth floor, it’s an absolute delight. All the staff are exceptional! I believe that the hotel is definitely the best choice in town!

The original furniture and the unique decor in both the room and common areas created an unforgettable atmosphere that truly transported us to another time. For a light dinner, we were offered a selection of appetizers, with the option of wine or non-alcoholic beverages. The atmosphere in the rooftop restaurant was enhanced by a violinist, adding a romantic touch to the evening. I stayed here on my birthday, and the staff made it an incredibly special experience. They prepared a lovely surprise for me, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I felt like a true princess, and it made the day even more memorable. Overall, a magical stay that combined history, elegance, and personal care. I’d love to return!

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by its prime location, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and easy access to Alexandria's main attractions. The service was impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Their kindness and attentiveness made me feel truly valued as a guest. The level of professionalism displayed by the team was nothing short of outstanding. The cleanliness of the hotel was remarkable, with every corner of the property spotless and well-maintained. It added to the overall luxurious ambiance of the place. My overall stay experience was nothing less than amazing. Whether you're visiting Alexandria for leisure or business, I cannot recommend Le Metropole enough. It combines timeless elegance with modern comforts, making it a truly unforgettable destination.

The only problem is that they (i dont now if the problem starts from booking,com but i believe from the hotel). Two days before arrival the cost of the room payed from my card. When i arrived i had to pay the total cost gain because they told me that they block the money of the first payment and the amount will be free again (it depends of my bank) after almost 15 days... No reason to block for so many days your money.

An absolutely exquisite gem of a hotel. Has the grandeur and elegance of a bygone age. The staff are exceptional; combining formality and efficiency perfectly with intimacy and friendliness. The rooftop restaurant and bar open until 2am every night has spectacular views directly over the corniche and harbour. Live lounge music each night completes the feeling of tranquillity and charm. It was so welcoming and comfortable, I changed my itinerary to extend my stay at this treasure of a hotel.

My favorite hotel in Alexandria. Visited the city a lot for the work and have tried all the best hotels here, but nothing better than Le Metropole. I’m absolutely in love with the interior and all the heritage details everywhere from the decoration to elevator (made in 1902 and still working properly). But the most important thing for me is the highest level of service, I feel like at home every time staying here - the warmest and kindest staff.

The hotel have that kind of french decoration that make you go back in time And the light dinner was so chic and elegant the hall was just amazing The breakfast that they have on the rooftop was magical and have a nice view The room was very good and the front office staff was very helpful and kind and many thanks to rana and ahmed they were so cheerful

The staff was super helpful. The view from the balcony incredible. The location was perfect. And breakfast was extremely good. In fact, I had the best shrimp curry of my life in Paradise Inn - the rooftop restaurant of the hotel. In short, this stay was just perfect.
