My 11 year old son and I have just returned from the most wonderful 10 nights staying at the Coral sea Waterworld resort in Sharm el Sheikh. From arrival to departure, every member of staff we met with went above and beyond to ensure we had the best holiday. We loved the food, although we aren’t fussy eaters. Hotel breakfast is always a treat; delicious pastries and breads, fruit, cereal, yogurt, freshly made omelettes and eggs, pancakes and waffles, there is something for everyone. Lunch we always had at the Mermaid restaurant near the beach - we had chicken schwarma, burgers, pizza, pasta, salad, ice cream - staff are lovely, and air conditioning provides a welcome break from the midday sun. Evening meals vary every night, and lots of meat and veggie options, and we tried both the Italian and Asian restaurants which were both delicious. We ate out a few times at Hard Rock Cafe, and other local restaurants which was a nice change of scenery. We did manage to avoid ‘Pharoah’s revenge’ tummy which I was grateful for. The pool areas and water park are immaculately clean and the lifeguards are always on duty ensuring safety of all guests. The slides are amazing and we loved visiting every morning. The dive centre at the beach was amazing and really made our holiday. Huge shout out to Abdallah and Sam who were so helpful and especially made a huge fuss of my son. We did parasailing, banana boats, crazy sofa and so much snorkelling - it really is a must do when in Egypt. The housekeeping was carried out everyday….we had a fantastic room overlooking the pool and gardens and our housekeeper created some amazing towel art everyday which we looked forward to returning to. Room air conditioning was wonderful - we had to use blankets in the night it was so powerful, but we loved this as temps were reaching 38 degrees everyday.

I don’t drink alcohol and did find the soft drink selection was repetitive after 10 days, but staff were always friendly and worked so hard. Branded coke, lemonade and Fanta served all day, and barista coffee. The hotel does have some shops to purchase snacks, inflatables, gifts etc…I would recommend leaving the hotel for these purchases as the cost is hugely inflated within the hotel. Just outside the hotel is a metro supermarket which is about a quarter of the price. One of the best holidays we’ve ever had - didn’t stop smiling the whole time we were there. Highly recommend this fantastic hotel.

Beach location is fabulous, staff were amazing so friendly and polite from gardeners to reception team. Spa facilities were great and good value for money. Hotel was clean throughout the areas we used and manager presence throughout the hotel was visible. Nothing was too much trouble. Guys around the pool always found sunbeds for everyone even at busy times. Gardens are well kept and pools are clean. Waterpark is good for kids smaller slides and then some bigger ones. Lazy river is nice to float around. Guys with buggies will give you a little ride down to the main gate if you leave the hotel for shopping etc which is appreciated!! We had a beach view room which was perfect, separate little area for the kids to sleep in with some privacy. The foam party on the beach was good fun everyone seemed to enjoy it and the same with the fire show and white party.

On site pharmacy tried to rip us off for something when the price was clearly marked. Aside from this everything else was great.

- Food choice is ok, but very repetitive (especially breakfasts - always the same) - Rooms clearly need to be refurbished (we stayed at Kids den on the 1st floor), though rooms on the 3rd floor have been refurbished. - Very shallow sea - All extra services (Spa, photographers) are extremely pushy. I'd say, beyond the limits. - Avoid the photographer with lots of rings on his hands (there are 2 of them in total). Will seem friendly at first, but quality of photos & attitude are disgusting (treats you like sh*t & pushes you to buy more even if you had an arrangement).

Everything was exceptional.

The staff was very cooperative they did their best to make our accommodation comfortable, they free upgrade our room to fit the kids , the hotel has ramps everywhere so it was very easy to move around with my twins stroller, they have air conditioned area next to pools and aqua restaurant which was great for my twin babies because the temperature was very high and it was very nice to rest and eat at shaded and conditioned area ❤️ The food was great and they even made special food for my twin babies . The Italian restaurant was great it was very nice experience and the chef was very friendly . The beach was wonderful , crystal clear water and was perfect for kids to play with sand and water safely. Our family was very comfortable so we extended our accommodation .

The pools and aqua runs from 10 a.m to 5 p.m but due to summer timing the sunset is at 8 pm so it felt really early to close the pools, I think it should still open at least till 7 or 7.30 pm except that every thing was great

Was apprehensive having seen some reviews online but we loved our stay here, the staff can’t do enough for you and are so friendly. The spa was lovely and I recommend the massages. The pools were lovely and a good temperature which was nice. The aquapark was good fun for my granddaughter who’s 5. The animation team work hard to keep people entertained, it’s not to everyone’s taste but the kids seem to enjoy it. Food was great, plenty of choice and we were all fine after reading reviews of bad tummies etc. Our room was perfect for what we needed, separate kids den which gave some privacy. Local area was fine to be out in. Uber to and from the airport was £8 for a minibus.

WiFi was a bit intermittent in the hotel which I needed for work back home but easily resolved

This hotel was amazing we had an amazing stay the waterpark was really fun and had really exciting slides and the food was really delicious and the staff for the waterpark was excellent they were really nice and funny and the animation at the pool was really entertaining.

In the restaurant the beverage section the cups are not clean and it smells bad.

Amazing variety of food. Extremely neat and clean. Very attentive staff. We stayed at 3 different resorts and all 5 in our family thought this was by far the best. The majority of the guests were british, a great relief after staying in resorts with mostly russians.

Some of the waterslides could have been open longer. My children could not take the lazy river by themselves even though they are excellent swimmers and almost 140 cm tall. Also they had a couple of rules that made little sence (no watch in the waterslide)

This hotel offers a spacious garden with several pools, a water park, ténis and football courts and obviously a gorgeous private beach with comfortable sun beds. Also 3 different restaurants that you can choose from. Most of the staff is extremely nice although some don’t speak English very well and those can be of a difficult interaction. It’s very clean and well maintained.

For the several days of the stay we observed that the swimming pool bar staff was not very friendly neither have any customer service skills. Usually rushing us (even when there was just 1 or 2 guests there), making us feel that we were bothering them. Food quality, specially at the Asian and the Italian restaurant needs some improvement. Food doesn’t seem cooked at the moment and doesn’t look or feels that fresh. If you ask for alcohol don’t get surprised if you get a judgemental side eye from some staff. I’m sure they’ve seen a lot so I don’t judge them back for this one, just be aware of that.
