I booked the standard room with breakfast and the attic room was lovely. It was really cozy and well furnished with a coffee machine too. I also appreciated the bathroom l’occitane cosmetics and loved the fact that they had plenty of fluffy towels. The breakfast was delicious and plenty, one of the richest I have seen. 3-4 types of eggs, veggies, baked stuff, sweets, fresh juices - just wow! And on top of that friendly and helpful staff, super present, curious and attentive.

A lot of messages from the property about the special rules of the hotel due to religion nische have put me off a bit. To be honest you feel a bit discriminated even before coming in. Same for the looks you get from some residents in the elevator and breakfast room. Together with no smiles and not even responding to a friendly “hello” back.

This is a great hotel, especially for religious jews, but also for anyone. The hotel location is 8 minutes walk from the old town of Prague and the Palladium mall, and also 5 minute walk from a central station of trains and metro. In the hotel you can find nice rooms with A/C, Wi-fi, TV, small refrigerator and nice and comfortable beds. There is also a nice restaurant with great kosher food both at breakfast and dinner. There is a synagogue inside the hotel with 3 prayers daily, but it is also nice to visit on Shabbat some of the old Synagogues of Prague like the Jerusalem synagogue (5 minute walk) and the Alt-Noy synagogues ( 20 minutes walk).

Some of the rooms are located below the street, and there is a bit noise in the room ,but it was not so disturbing. when you close the windows you can hardly hear it.

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful.. they explain everything properly. You also get a suprise welcome drink in their lobby bar.. The room was huge, spacious and comfortable.. It had everything one would want from a room, a latest TV with apps, a mini-bar, a coffee maker and kettle, soft comfortable beds with fresh linen and blankets.. there were water bottles in the room for use.. The toiletry products were also of high quality.. the breakfast was expectional with great varieties of food.. and the staff was super helpful and even recommend us the specialities we should try. The hotel also has a pool and spa that you can use.

There is nothing to complain about. Our trip was wonderful.. Only one point I would like to raise - please check the opening hours of pool/spa beforehand. We stayed for 3 days. On the last day we wanted to spend time and enjoy the pool/spa but it was closed that time and we couldn't get a chance to go in. So don't do the mistake we did. Ask for it and plan for it. I am sure the pool/spa must be equally wonderful.

We had an amazing experience at the King David Hotel in Prague. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The hotel is incredibly accommodating for those who keep kosher, with delicious kosher meals available, making it a truly convenient and enjoyable option. The dining experience was excellent, with a variety of tasty and high-quality dishes. The atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant and relaxing. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the attention to detail was evident. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Overall, this hotel provides a luxurious and comfortable experience, particularly for those seeking kosher amenities. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. Considering we didn’t realise this was a Jewish hotel, and we were a LGBT couple - we were made to feel exceptionally welcome. We arrived after breakfast but they still took us in and got us some food. They also brought us a cake for our anniversary. The facilities are clean, the rooms are lovely and they have really gone for the attention to detail in terms of the religious touches. Overall a lovely stay - thank you!

Nothing!

The people were very nice and location, just perfect. We were at few minutes away from the town center and we did a lot of walking from the hotel itself. There is no big need of public transportation from here.

The breakfast did not exceed my expections, sorry. It was probably me, that was unaware of the meaning of Kosher = mainly Israely clientele oriented. That means not a great choice of food. BUT they were very kind to offer us a voucher to their sister David Hotel nearby, at 5 minutes walk away, for a greater choice (much better), so we went and have breakfast there, and was amazing (except one of the waiter there that seems not like us using the bonus from the other hotel)

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience. The rooms are beautifully elegant and offer a perfect blend of comfort and style. Each detail is thoughtfully designed, making our stay incredibly relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always greeting us with a warm smile and ready to assist with any request. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and hospitable stay.

-The only small negative was that I requested a room with a view as it was my sister's 40th birthday and we got a room that looked onto a service courtroom and it wasn't quiet at times. -We were made aware of the breakfast not having meat but did miss it (however the offerings were fresh and delicious.)

The Hotel was great. as someone who keeps Kosher and Shabbat, you have everything you need, just like home. from Shabbat light in the room to the times of Friday dinner. food was great with a lot of options. rooms were big and worm. Pool and SPA area are a bit small but very nice and clean

The Restaurant was very crowded for Lunch on Shabbat. had to wait a bit for a table. if they could arrange a sitting map like they did in Friday night dinner it would have been better,

We had the most lovely time staying at the King David! My husband and I are orthodox Jewish, and travelled with two toddlers (ages 1.5 and 3). We booked a suite with spa access, and were surprised by the large size of the room, which was very large by European standards and including a bathroom, sitting area, and a very large bed. The staff was extremely accommodating - they helped us navigate the bus/tram systems including where and how to buy tickets and what stops to get off. The hotel offers day-tours and the staff is well-informed about the any tourist destinations of Prague. We were given two cribs for our children and kids highchairs for breakfast. The breakfast was varied and delicious - omelets, scrambled eggs, pancakes, crepes, fruit, salads, bread, coffee, etc

We were not as impressed with the dinner offered as we were with the breakfast and dairy cafe in the hotel. The menu was more limited.

Everything Great location The Hotel went far and beyond our expectations for the cleanliness of all the communal areas, our bedroom and bathroom. Absolutely spotless. The meals were delicious and all dietary requirements were catered for without being requested and in our room was fridge, Shabbat light and kettle, two sinks, iron and ironing board, etc etc Very warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were super helpful. There was always iced water available and coffee and cakes downstairs during the day. The lobby cafe was comfortable and the food delicious. There are actually two elevators in hotel and we never experienced having to wait for either one of them.

We just couldn’t fault the hotel. The management thought of everything to make our stay comfortable.
