Everything was great. Friendly and welcoming staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Great location and stunning view from the window. Will be happy to come back again.

The breakfast food was good. The coffee machine was accessible by only one patron at a time. No hot chocolate.

The balcony for smokers is directly connected to the indoor eating area and separated only by a door that is kept largely open by patrons and staff. The cigarette smoke was drawn indoor and heavily polluted the entire indoor eating area. The entire meal was made awful and barely edible because of this. I complained to the dining staff but nothing was done. Allowing smoking on a balcony directly connected to the indoor eating area is a terrible set up. The breakfast experience was made awful because of this.

⸻ I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel in Al Majaz, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service and overall experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, but what truly made my stay exceptional were the front desk receptionists Ruqiya and Raya. They were without a doubt the kindest, most professional, and genuinely helpful staff members I’ve ever encountered at any hotel. Whether it was assisting with check-in, providing local recommendations, or just greeting guests with a warm smile every time, their hospitality was unmatched. They truly made me feel at home. The hotel itself is beautifully located by the waterfront, offering stunning views and easy access to Al Majaz’s attractions. The rooms were spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was also great — a good variety and fresh options daily. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays, and I want to give a special thank you to Ruqiya and Raya for going above and beyond. Your kindness did not go unnoticed — you’re both a credit to the DoubleTree team!

What truly made my stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every team member I encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff made check-in smooth and quick, and they provided helpful recommendations for local attractions and dining. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, and always greeted me with a smile in the hallway. The hotel is clean organized and the room is clean and spacious, bathroom is big and clean. The bed is comfortable.

The hotel charged my credit card for the stay before I arrive even though I choose the option of paying upon arrival to the hotel in cash. So I got charged twice they charged my card and I paid the rate in cash when I arrived, and now I have to wait for the block to be reversed. This was totally unnecessary wait until I don't show up on the arrival day then you have the right to debit the card for the no show incident. There was no praying matt in the room this is unusually especially in Sharjah.

We keep coming back to DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront, and this was our 3rd (or 4th) stay—and for good reason! From the moment we arrived, the warm, fresh cookies at check-in made us feel at home. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, the rooms are modern, spacious, and spotless, and the waterfront views never get old. The facilities are excellent. It’s our go-to place in Sharjah, and we’ll definitely be back again!

I was disappointed with the Suhoor options. The variety was quite limited, and it didn’t include essential dishes like rice with chicken or beef, which are typically expected for a proper Suhoor. Having a buffet would have made the experience much better. I hope the hotel considers improving this in the future.

I loved everything about it. The staff is very friendly and respectful. Very clean and comfortable. The rooms have a perfect view. The restaurant is nice and the food is good. The warm cookies served at check-in were wonderful. The pool and sauna were very clean and enjoyable.

It would be easier for those staying to have the restaurant meal bill charged to the room and paid upon check-out. We thought that the practice would be done this way and headed to the door after dinner. Because we were also asked for our room number. It just wasn't very nice to be followed and asked to pay the bill. It's not a big problem actually. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding.

We had the chance to be upgraded as our room wasn't ready when we arrived, and they didn’t want us to wait, which was a lovely gesture. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the room itself was amazing with a beautiful view. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt well taken care of. We also enjoyed the qualitative breakfast and its view.

If I had to mention one thing, it would be the pool. It is covered and quite small, which was a bit disappointing as we were hoping to relax and sunbathe outside. But really it's a detail.

This stay was nothing short of perfection. The room was immaculate with a beautiful view of the Al Majaz Waterfront, staff was incredibly accomodating and gave us an early check-in as well as a late checkout. Staff was also hospitable and very professional. Facilities were well kept and in pristine condition, beautiful gym and an amazing sauna.

The design of the apartment was such that there was not enough wardrobe space, this was the only inconvenience we experienced as well as a lack of detergent and dishwashing soap for the washing machine and kitchen.
