Location was outstanding. Walkable to lots of the things a visitor to Barcelona would want to do. A block from metro station and to the dropoff/pickup stop for the airport express bus.

The hotel "office" is only open for limited hours so it's unliikely you'll see hotel staff. They are good at sending you instructions - but with flawed info - about how to access the building and check yourself in without needing to talk to staff. This is vital because the hotel office has very limited hours, probably not open when you check in or want to depart. And those instructions are confusing. They require some problem solving to get through a main door that requires a code and then walking up flights of stairs to get keys for your floor and your room on that floor. I sent messages asking questions and more information and did not receive answers. Fortunately everything worked out, but I I had been stuck at any point, I felt like I had no way to get real answers from anyone.

Spacious room with minimal design, good location and very near the metro, plenty cafes and restaurants around

There are no staff on the weekends. Arrived on a sunday, they gave me instructions on self check-in. Gave me a lock box number with passcode but upon checking in, indicated lock box was already open and empty. Tried to call the number they gave but no answer. Tried to check other lock boxes and used the password they gave me, it worked. So they gave me wrong instructions. The AC remote didnt work when i came, it was not set up for the AC in the room, called the emergency number and finally received instruction on how to set up the AC remote. Room didnt have a mirror, or coat hooks.

The location is amazing; it was very walkable everywhere, and the metro was right next to us, along with many grocery shops and cafes for breakfast time. Additionally, there was an elevator, which was very convenient. It was also very clean and had everything we needed in both the kitchen and the room. The staff member at reception was also very pleasant.

There were four rooms with two bathrooms on one floor. Since we visited during a less busy time, the bathrooms were always available, but I can see it could be a problem with more people. Also maybe adding more shelves for clothes and various stuff to the rooms could be nice.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It’s just meters away from the Aerobus stop, making it incredibly convenient for airport transfers. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Additionally, the hostel is within walking distance to the city center, and there’s also a metro station nearby for easy access to the rest of the city. The hostel itself is extremely clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, the place is truly amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

I have no complaints.

Hotel was close to shopping and dining. Lots of people in the area going out at night. Nice nightlife scene. Bus station is a minute away if you wanted transportation to the airport or other local area. Our room was very good, it had an outdoor patio overlooking the city. You can even cook there. There's an Aldi around the corner if you wanted to cook your own meal.

The elevator was small, other than that I had no complaints. No iron and ironing board.

We loved staying at the Bird House. The location is excelent and everything we needed was provided. We were happy there was a lift up to our floor as stairs would have been an issue. The kitchen is basic but just what is needed for a short stay, with a hob, kettle, microwave and even a washing machine. The staff we talked to were all nice and helpful. Everything was clean.

The bed was not very comfortable, if you have problems with your back, it might not be a best choice. The curtains a bit thin. It might help to have a sign on every floor to close the lift door when leaving it as sometimes the lift was stuck on a higher floor when tge door where left open.

The place is clean, with shared bathrooms and kitchen. They do cleaning of common shared spaces every day. It was a nice and clean place. The water pressure in the shower was a problem. We could not shower properly, not even once. The location is super. 50m from metro station and 50 m from the bus stop to Airport. Also in a fairly easy walking distance to all main attractions. Good value for money.

The location was great very close to metro station. The property was clean. The building a bit old but all working. The beds were metal so made a bit of noise every time you moved. The break fast was good but basic you could only have 1 bocadillo of your choice and a cup of coffee. You had to go to a cafe with Birds House voucher to get your breakfast.

Would have liked a better breakfast at least with orange juice and more coffee as the cup of coffee served were very small.

Great location and easy check-in. 4 bedroom flat nicely decorated, all bedrooms have locks. The place was quiet and the bed was comfortable enough. Kitchen facilities were available but I didn't need them. Two shared bathrooms with hand soap and body wash available. My room was neutrally decorated but unfortunately it was aged, dusty and I found a hair under the duvet. Cleaning needs improving but it still is good value for money.

Barcelona is in the thick of a serious drought with quickly dwindling water supplies and strict rations for locals, but tourists would never know it as there's no signage asking visitors to conserve water. This is creating significant and understandable animosity against tourists. Please at least post information about the drought so we can at least lessen our impact and be respectful.
