Very good entertainment especially for the kids/ families (mini disco, shows every night + activities during the day and kids club). Our daughter enjoyed very much the pool with all the waterslides and the mermaid course. She preffered the pool to the beach. The room was comfy, the big bed was appreciated as well as the powerful air conditioning.

The food was okish, quality of food corresponding to a 3star hotel. But I would have preferred more Spanish typical dishes and drinks than British ones. Longer opening hours of the hotel pool would have been great as the pool was open from 10h to 18h, so more or less the hours when you are supposed to avoid the sun. Or maybe if some shade could be provided during these hours.

Generally great spot for kids. Our boys are 5 and 8, would say it was a bit more suited to the 5 year old who adored the evening shows and antics of the pirates. Both loved the pool. We found the AI food quite good and varied, we ate out here and there too but generally thought there was decent variety. Evening shows were great and the pirates were amazing dancers and gymnasts. Bar staff and management clearly worked very hard and were very pleasant and helpful.

Kids club and activities while great are probably tailored towards younger kids as opposed to 8+, that was our experience at least. Would benefit from getting rid of some of the rubbishy arcade machines and replacing with better ice hockey/pool tables/volleyball/zipline or better hangout space for the slightly older kids. Apartments are quite tired which is ok, they are well maintained, however the pullout sofa-bed in ours was a pain to pull out, really heavy and awkward. AI food was good but we found the alcohol pretty poor. Beer was fine, wine and cocktails were very cheap and sugary. More parasols needed by pool, we couldn’t get one any day. Enforcement of the removal of towels being put out to secure spots at silly o clock would be welcome too!

The whole pool and slides were amazing! Food was very nice especially the pizza oven and grill lots of fresh fruit & veg! Staff are extremely hard working I feel like they never leave! Very clean! Nice selection of drinks great value for money I would definitely return!

The lifts are very annoying the room really could of done with a better clean (floors) but honestly i do feel like the staff are abit overworked or maybe lack of staff. They done an amazing job especially in the pool and dining area some people left such a state. I hope they are well paid and looked after as they are constantly non stop cleaning. the pirates on day one really pissed me off eating food off our plates and wheeling the buggy away as I was feeding the baby if this was every meal time I 100% would of left the hotel but I was one morning one incident, but try explaining to a toddler the pirate ate the last pancake and there’s none left! Last thing highly highly recommend a child safety lock on the main doors of the rooms

We stayed for 10 nights in the middle of August 2024, the apartment was great, it wasn't the biggest but the one bedroom on the third floor was ideal for us with a family of 5, the two younger kids slept in the sofa bed in the kitchen which folds out to make 2 single beds and the toddler had a travel cot provided by the hotel. We had a double bed which honestly could fit all 5 of us, it was huge, had to of been a super size bed it was massive. The pool was great, nice slides, bit annoying with the lack of sun loungers but we are used to that August is always too crowded, you have to expect that. We went self catering and the food in the resort of Santa Ponsa was amazing, great restaurants here, found it better than Playa De Las Americas in Tenerife where we previously stayed. Shows in hotel were good and location of hotel is great, huge supermarket up the road and fantastic Chinese shop next door selling everything. I'd come back again for sure. I loved how relaxed all the staff were and lifeguards etc, let the kids jump in the pool, have fun on the slides, etc, it wasn't overly marshalled like a lot of places I've been, really good for kids

Sun lounger situation could be better, should be allocated to the apartment, 2 per apartment or something as its a bit mad the way it is now with people queuing up for them, but we are not much of sunbathers so didn't bother us, but if you are it could be annoying. Kids club wasn't the greatest, staff were nice and everything but its a bit dark and scrunched up there, could do with a bigger room and brightening up in there.

Everything. It ticked all the boxes and had everything we needed

A bottle of water in the room would have been nice as we didn't arrive until midnight and there was nowhere to buy water.

Amazing entertainment from the pirates. Halloween weekend was sensational. Amazing food generally.

Had to pay for nice cocktails and ice creams. Maybe a limit on them would be good, but the machine ones are not strong enough.bColdness of pool. Second bedroom a pain being in the living area when bunk beds would fit in main bedroom. Mini disco is for toddlers, nothing for older children at that time even though kids club is up to age 12. Would be nice to have vegetarian sausage at breakfast and for the omelettes to be made for vegetarians. We could not eat them as same area being used for meat ones and using the same implements as used for the meat ones. Meat contamination!

Lots of entertainment for kids, plenty of sunbeds (mid September) even though their were plenty of people ready to set up shop before they were put out. Staff were great and really friendly, we had a great time.

Not much tbh. The slide pool was very cold. Some of the acts were pretty full on which suited older kids more than the younger ones.

Excellent venue for kids with the pool and the entertainment was excellent. Mel and Veroica in the kids club were lovely with the kids. Evening entertainment was good. Buffet no complaints always seemed to be good selection and nothing wrong with the food

beds could be better. in the mornings don't understand why they don't just cook a qty of the larger proper bacon and fried eggs, was always a que and 1 order at a time.

The entertainment for the kids was excellent and the Pirates really made the stay enjoyable. Brilliant swimming pools.

There isn't much room around the pool area, and you have to get down really early to secure a spot. Once the show finishes in the evening, there is nothing else that happens, and everybody leaves.
