Spacious, clean apartment. Beds comfortable. Useful having the mini-kitchen area. We had a good size balcony where you could catch the morning sun for breakfast. A decent location - especially if you need to use the main rail station. A great alternatve to the more pricey hotels. I would consider using again - although in Madrid you are spoilt for choice.

No real criticism

Andrei and his team were really helpful. Great to have a parking possibility under the hotel, but parking is a bit tight and it’s not easy to get in there so we arrived parked and left our car there during our stay in Madrid. We used Uber mostly to get around. It’s nice to have a kitchen and washing machine in the hot Spanish summer, we had our stay in Madrid in the middle of our trip and used it to wash our clothes as well. Kids loved the small pool to refresh in between. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by. We went to the Prado and the gardens close by to escape the July heat.

If we come back to Madrid, maybe we will try a different neighborhood, but maybe it was just the heat that made the stay not as nice as Atocha normally maybe is.

I was in Spain and Portugal for 3 weeks and I was very disappointed with the Airbnb places and hotels, everything was dirty, bad sheets and pillows, and last night I chose this one and the truth is I was surprised, I was already resigning myself to the ugly and dirty places, 🤦🏻‍♀️ What I liked most was the cleanliness and that they left little things that don't cost much but for one as a tourist have great value, like coffee, tea, sugar, salt and even oil, the pillows and sheets white 🙏10 points. Thank you for making from my 20 days in Europe the best night 😄 lol 😂 if I return to Madrid I will check this place again !

Parking to expensive 🤷🏻‍♀️

What a nice property. Clean, great location, A/C works, quiet, comfy beds, in-room coffee, I felt safe, wonderful staff at front desk. The apartment and property has a nice "home" feel to it with no weird or funky feeling or decor. Its nice and straightforward and lives up to what they promise online. All at a fair price. The search is over, book it!

Apartments, once in, are spacious, clean, well equipped. Ideal location if arriving by train. Easy to walk to city centre. Would recommend if arriving during the day and can use standard check in.

We arrived soon after 6pm, after reception closed. There is a computer screen to check in via. This is a very useless bit of kit with poor touch screen sensitivity and function. There is very poor mobile phone signal and it took 15 mins to get through to someone at EV via phone and a further 15 mins to check in to the apartment. a VERY poor experience. I was told that I had been upgraded to an apartment that included a terrace as it was my husbands birthday, however I paid for that room upgrade the week before. Disappointing.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and pillows, convenient location with literally 5 mins walk to Atocha station, but also in a quiet neighbourhood.

The air-conditioning in the master bedroom wasn’t working during my stay, but it’s ok coz the air conditioning in living room is strong enough to flow the air in, so we didn’t complain.

We rented a two bedroom apartment this time. I knew the brand as I had stayed in their apartment in Amsterdam. This time we were in 5 so I got a bigger apartment. We had an issue that we arrived after 5pm when the reception closes and although I managed to check in on their totem inside, my husband was waiting with the car and the kids in front of the garage. I was not informed that I had to go upstairs to retrieve the garage key; so I had my make two calls, once to find out about this and another one to say that my key wasn’t in the apartment - I was then told to get a spare key and it worked but it took us some time and it was somehow unpleasant as they knew I had booked a garage space one week earlier.

The reception closes at 5pm and after that if you want to leave your luggages you need to use the lockers in some of the floors and that costs 1 euro each. As I didn’t have coins on our last day of Spain, they did us a favor and kept our bags in the tiny reception - but I had to retrieve them before 5pm which wasn’t very convenient as our flight departure time was around midnight!

The location was good, easily walkable from Madrid train station. It was spacious, kitchenette well equipped. Reception staff very helpful. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets around. This was our repeat stay in an Erik Vokel apartment in Europe.

The one bedroom faced the street so it was horribly noisy. Couldn’t sleep. Requested a change to apartment that faced inner courtyard and it was so quiet on our second night. Staff accommodated our request, so very thankful for their kind consideration.

Well-appointed apartment with trendy decor and the most comfortable beds and pillows that we had on our two-week road trip in Sapin. Walking distance from train station as well as Retiro Park and major art museums. Friendly staff and secure building. Nice pool and outdoor seating area. Limited restaurants nearby and not a particularly cute area, but two food choices we enjoyed were Empandish and Pupuseria Madrid. Overall worked great for last night in Madrid for four adults before we headed to the airport.

Would have liked to have been able to go in the pool in the evening. As noted, immediate area a bit limited in terms of food and other amenities.

Its close location to Madrid’s major station. A 10 minute walk only. . Close to the metro. Supermarket a couple minutes walk. Quiet street but due to the major metro works traffic being re routed past the apartment building is making it a bit noisy. Great to have washing machine facilities.

The shower over the bath. For us as an older couple a walk in shower would be more appropriate. The bathroom was small and very congested. Not much room between the bidet, bath and toilet.
