The location of the hotel is excellent. Easy access to museums and short walking distance to the city centre. Breakfast was also very good, with the good selection of food and good coffee. The staff at the reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful.

I have paid extra to have a room with a street view. What I got was a room with a view of the building site and a lot of rubbish. I think it is unfair of the hotel to charge extra for that view. Also, this hotel is rated as 5 star hotel. The room and facilities in the room and bathroom were dated and did not have appeal of a 5 star room.

Perfect location , room big and clean with daily surprises and gifts. Staff very helpful and always pleasant.

I stayed for 2 nights at the NH Collection Paseo del Prado, in a Junior Suite (37 sm) with Prado View. The room was specious with a comfortable bed. I really liked the NH collection “green tea” toiletries in my bathroom, the set is delicately pleasant (not strongly perfumed). The bathroom was large enough to have a Jacuzzi in it, it would have been a good idea to have bidet spray for clean lifestyle. My Suite had a fabulous view over Neptune Fountain. I totally agree with other guests, that location was fabulous. The only concern I have is, cleaning dust is necessary; SEE dusty phone screen (see photo) & light switches. Very friendly staffs but 2 persons capture my attention. The receptionist (a female, she's very thorough but respectful and thoughtful about personal matters, I forgot to asked her name, but she is tall and has dark long hair) and 1 more staff, Ms.Varade.L. She help me with great recommendations for places. Love it very much the hospitality.

Only 1 staff,the other receptionist ,next to the nice receptionist on my check out date. It's improper to call someone as Mrs. Judging by ages. Many people in my country,same age as me, we aren't married for personal reasons. For International reasons calling are only Mr. / Ms. Thank you.

I found a bug on the the first night also i found another bug in the bathroom few days later. So its need to take more care of cleaning

NH Collection Madrid Paseo del Prado is ideally situated and all the must see venues are easily accessible from the location. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and overall, the hotel is pleasant. The hotel is a little bit run down and old fashioned but the level of service from everyone (reception, housekeeping, concierge and even maintenance crew) made up for these shortcomings during our stay. However I’m not sure I would stay here again unless rooms are upgraded and beds improved. A proper bed is a basic expectation.

The bed is a complete disaster. The queen bed is essentially two single beds put together making for very uncomfortable sleep. This is misleading to guests and this bed type cannot be listed for a “queen” room. Oddly, the room is spacious enough for a proper king size bed but the furniture layout is awkward and doesn’t make good use of the space at all. Additionally, both the kettle and Nespresso machine in the room weren’t working but in fairness, staff were very supportive and immediately replaced them.

Excellent location! only a few minutes walking to three major museums. Room and the bathroom are very well designed and very clean. The temperature control in the room is amazing! It doesn’t blow strong winds, just gently adjusting to the right temperature

The breakfast is lacking the vegetables and it’s in the basement. There is no sitting area in the lobby. For the female travelers, they don’t provide cotton balls and Qtips

The address of the hotel was confusing to the taxi driver who took us to the other NH Collection hotel on the same street so we had to walk back to the hotel in rain! The bar arrangement as a seperate business meant no one could control the music sound level or at least that was the claim.

The location is perfect. The room is spacy. The bathroom is big and the water pressure is good.

The first room that we got was with the view on the construction works and when we asked to change the room we got one on the first floor with a great view but very noisy. It was not possible to open a window even for a bit - day and night - and also with the closed windows the traffic was there with us inside the room.. We reserved a room with the fontain view and I asked for a quiet room. I did the reservation months ahead. So, if I ever come back to this hotel, I will insist on the higher floors only.

The location was great for walking to many museums and parks. The staff was thoughtful and very pleasant. I requested a view of Prado Street and they were able to accommodate me. It was a fantastic view! I miss living in a big city and enjoyed watching traffic circle right outside our window. The beautiful fountain in the circle was lit up at night.

Not sure if all the rooms are the same but there were no drawers in the room and very few shelves. I prefer to unpack when I go on vacation to feel more at home but we had to keep our clothes in our suitcases.
