The property was clean, nice, very tidy and cosy. The food was fantastic, the kindness that everyone has there was well deserved and we are very happy with our stay in this hotel, and we can’t wait to come back and see it again.

One thing which we didn’t like is the kids zone, where people should leave their kids for hour or two, so parents can have time to rest for themselves. Maybe they were busy with the Halloween decorations, and when we asked if the kids zone room is open, they told us that it’s up to the girl who was working there to open the facility, so we can leave our daughter there, but from the reception, didn’t have us proper working time for the kids zone and when it’s open. Again that maybe was the wrong moment due to the Halloween, but it’s something that the hotel can focus, from our point of view. Everything else was excellent and definitely we can visit it again next year

The hotel was excellent. Great size room - we had a twin. The hotel was kept extremely clean, and the staff were fantastic - welcoming, helpful, and friendly - their customer service skills were fantastic. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. It was hard not to overeat .

There were only two slight downsides, one being no tea/coffee in the room, but this wasn't a big issue, we just would have liked it. The second was the area, but this is not any reflection on the hotel, just something that booking.com might like to advertise. We didn't realise that it was an area that appeared to be probably more suitable for those who like to drink a lot during the day and evening. This didn't cause a problem for us but something some may prefer a quieter area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent with lots of variety – something different every day. Breakfast and dinner had a huge selection and everything was fresh and tasty. Spacious, clean rooms – cleaned daily. The hotel is modern, with working air conditioning throughout. The heated outdoor pool was a great bonus. Everything was very clean, both inside and outside – you can really see how much the staff care.

It’s new and clean. The rooms are spacious and with modern furniture. The indoor pool is heated. We only spent one night there as we had a very early flight. The kitchen prepared the breakfast for us at 3am, which was really thoughtful.

Location. I thought it was far away from the drunk tourist areas but not at all. Unfortunately they are everywhere. Spa staff. We went to the indoor pool and asked the lady for the towels. She said very unpleasantly that the towels are upstairs. Then I asked her why are the towels upstairs and not by the pool. I didn’t see any logic there… then she said she didn’t work for the hotel she is contracted by another company for the spa. Very not nice. Also, she is the face of the hotel and I will remember her as a hotel staff not as a person contracted by the spa company.

Room spacious and comfortable. Excellent variety of food for breakfast and dinner, no one should ever be hungry after eating there. Staff were pleasant friendly and competent. The ones I spoke to enjoy working there and it shows. The organised and orderly way the hotel is run is a main factor in its success.

Since my last visit to Mallorca many years ago the general area in which the hotel is located has deteriorated. There's a lot of drunkenness in the street throughout the day and annoying street sellers. This was not evident in the hotel though. I guess this could be an age thing but I didn't enjoy it.

The Hipotels Gran Playa de Palma made a great first impression with a huge lobby and very fancy looking decore. Our room was really spacious and really nicely finished. Our two week stay was really comfortable and relaxing, we got a good deal on a room upgrade when we arrived. The inclusive meals were great.

Sometimes the dining rooms were busy. The lifts occasionally were a little busy and took a while to get us to our floor.

The hotel is very well maintained, everything is new and in perfect condition: the rooms are spacious, the gardens are green despite summer heat, the swimming pools are big with plenty of sunbeds, and the restaurants have lots of tables both inside and on the terrace. Cleanness is 100%, everything is spotless. Lots of staff at reception (special thanks to Javier) and restaurants (thanks Africa for being so kind to our son). Everyone is smiling, friendly and accommodating – which is rare these days. Most pleasantly surprising was that a small dinner buffet was waiting for us in the room when we arrived and checked in late at night, starving! Location is good for beach access, only 2 min walk, but not ideal for families with small kids – it turns into a loud drunk teenager street festival in the evenings. It’s not noisy inside the hotel itself, but not nice to see that crowd on the evening walk with your toddler. The snacks, drinks and food are very reasonably priced, no need to get your beer from the supermarket (which by the way is across the street). Also, right by the gate on the street is a car rental place and the bus stop, where you can take the bus to the airport or Palma City.

One big minus and a small one: - there is ABSOLUTELY NO entertainment for kids. No clowns, no shows, no music, nothing. - the food at the buffet is good and varied – you can always find plenty of things to eat, but it’s not to die for.
