The property is lovely and great location

Don’t tell you the upstairs roof area is extra would be handy to be told this on check in instead of the the rude staff literally having a pop at you as if you just robbed them of 60 euros and not accepting it was a honest mistake rude bunch of staff do well to remember you are still a guest at the hotel and should be spoken to in a professional manner absolute joke breakfast offering is insane but a lot of it ain’t hit enough cold beans don’t do it for me the egg lady smashing out omelettes was the best The spa is Awsome had a great stay all ruined by rude staff and the way I was approached

Astro Turf mini football pitch, playground and water slides were excellent. Attentive and fun Mini Club staff. Some pool games offered e.g. water polo, darts, as well as ping pong tournament. The Adults only pool had lots of available beds for those that preferred a quieter experience. Food was good. Free drinks over the Easter weekend was an unexpected bonus. Lifeguards always on duty and no charge to change pool towels. Supermarket across the road stocked anything you need.

Pool bar drinks are over priced. Charged Euro 5.25 per person to swap dinner for lunch was unnecessary. Evening entertainment ok. Not informed of staff strike in advance.

I loved the food, that is breakfast and dinner. I liked what is available for kids, both in terms of the playground and the swimming pool. But also, the people organizing things for the kids and keeping them entertained are awsome. The location of the hotel is great and in general it is great to stay at Bitacora.

There was some renavation going on at my floor the first few days. While, I totally understand the need for that, it would have been nice to be informed beforehand. But this was really not a big issue for me. Later during my trips, the cleaning staff went on strik for two days. Totally understandable and they have every right to fight for their rights. However, again notification from the hotel about this would have been appreciated.

Everything was great - the room is very big and the view is awesome. In general the hotel is amazing - it has good infrastructure - pools, bars, UP, SPA, aquapark and so on. The location is great as well. When we arrived - the hotel was overbooked and they asked us to stay for the first night in the partner hotel Vulcano - and because of this we were upgraded for free to have All Inclusive - that was very good from their side and were happy about it. The food and drinks in a bars and restaurant are of a really high quality. The fresh water is available at any floor and in a lot of places - that is very convinient. In general - we had amazing vacation and I can strongly recommend this hotel.

The bed adn bed sheets in the room were really good, but the bed is combined from 2 smaller ones - that were very movable and it was hard to keep it as a single bed so that it doesn't go in different directions. The concept of absense of towel cards and necessity of paying the 20EUR deposit for towels was not a problem - but a bit strange and inconvinient.

The only negative was the reserving of sun beds with towels etc,which commenced when it was still dark in the morning! Although the hotel put notices around to discourage this,it continued every day. More sun beds are needed,as the pool area didn’t have any spare.

The hotel and facilities were great. The only issue we had was that a family who had friends staying at another resort were reserving pool beds for them and bringing them in to use the facilities. Staff at the Bitacora should be noticing this. I also think that parents with Children shouldn't be allowed alcohol around the kids pool when there's 2 adult only pools in the hotel.

The outdoor area, pools and entertainment for the children was really good and I recommend Bitácora for families travelling with kids. The food was also nice and the buffet always had something for everyone. The location of the hotel was excellent, short walk to nearby beaches, shops and restaurants.

The food was great, however the dining area was aweful. It was so loud and busy that we did not enjoy our meals properly. The hotel room itself was okay but we did not have a king bed, housekeeping did not always meet our standards, for example we ran out of soap a couple of times, as well as toilet paper and so on. I would not recommend the loundry service, as it is very expensive (3 euros per piece) and they managed to distroy one of my favorite shirts while ironing it.

Bitacora is a perfect hotel for a family vacation. There is a lot of activity for kids. All family members could find something to eat at breakfast and lunch/dinner. I could also recommend the spa.

You have to take into consideration that this is a pure family hotel. Kids were running in the hallway screaming and having fun really early in the morning. There was one thing that I absolutely hated, that was the battle for sunbed. I found it really frustrating that most of the sunbeds were reserved during the whole day, even if the people who reserved it only used it for couple of hours.

Good location, close to the ocean and shopping street. Nice and big pool area, activity program by the pool during the day and in hotel lounge and bar during the evenings which the children enjoyed. Wide food selection in the morning and evening buffe. Friendly and humorous staff. Comfortable to have laundry drying rack on the balcony and a shop in the lobby with the most essential holiday and beach stuff.

It was a bit annoying that all the hotel information, wifi codes, excursion options were only available through the hotel app which wasn't easy and comfortable enough to set up. The staff was helpful to assist but still some members of our family did not manage to get access and had to live a whole week without internet. :D Communication with the hotel prior to the trip through Booking.com did not work, we did not receive answers to the sent messages. Quite noisy air conditioning but we preferred the open balcony door anyway. Pillows could be more comfortable and duvet cover preferable over simple linen.
