The bedroom was amazing, really big, lovely decoration and new, super clean. We loved the hotel, breakfast was absolutely AMAZING and DELICIOUS! Swimming pool area was beautiful and clean, and the personal working was gentle and friendly.

We didn’t like that the hotel says “Adults Only” but it was full of children, bedrooms and common areas as the swimming pool. We texted the hotel by booking app to have an answer about this but no one replied us. It was really inconvenient because I work with children and even if I love them I would like to have holidays without them.

I have one of the best holidays in this hotel. It is not located in the ocean side, however there were daily free transfers to Playa del Inglés and Charca de Maspalomas. The suite was spacious with a big bathroom with walk-in shower and balcony (table, chairs and sunbeds). There was a separate pool and dining area with Royal Level guests. Food was exquisite and a wide range so everyone is able to choose. The staff at the restaurant is simply amazing. I would recommend the place 100% and happy to go back in the future.

Loved the stay from the start to the end. The staff is very friendly and professional from the receptionists, to the restaurant staff, the cooks and the cleaning ladies. We felt really welcome at our stay. :) The rooms were spacious and clean. The cleaning ladies even folded the towels into different forms on some days, which was a really cute surprise. ❤️ The beds were amazingly comfortable, there were 3 pillows for each bed, so we slept like babies. The food was very tasty with some variations every day. The fresh squeezed juice was also very nice touch. Royal level guests can use both restaurants in the hotel. There is a possibility for early breakfast. :) IMPORTANT: download their app as reservation for meals is required. The drinks are not free for dinner if you don’t have all inclusive package. You can also order a lot of other stuff on the app. :) The hotel area is also very nice, kept after and clean. The pool is nice, the lifeguards make sure that there are no early “reservations” of the poolside beds, which is nice. 😊

The room was spacious, nice view from the balcony. Good and quiet location. Free snacks and Cava in the lobby.

Water in the swimming pool was cold. We could not find information about telephonenumbers to the reception and room service. We were always asked to use the Hotel App which was not convenient. It was difficult to find information. We asked about the evening entertainment programme and the receptionist asked us to check the App, but the information was not there. Also the lunch in the restaurant was too salty and we did not get any good responce of our feedback.

All in all a good hotel with very efficient staff. Many thanks to Marta at the reception and Luisa in the pool service area. The breakfast is good, you can order the coffee and tea that you like and there is also a choice of toasts that can be ordered in addition to the "standard" buffet. I didn´t use it, but the hotel offers a shuttle bus to the beach.

In the room there is a flyer that invites the guests to have a "responsible stay" in the sense of e. g. saving water - which is a valuable ressource in the Canary Islands. I stayed almost two weeks - and every day all my used towels have been changed, although they were hang up. I reported this to one of the recepctionists after two days and he noted my issue. All the same, my towels have been changed every day, although I had not thrown them on the floor. How can a guest act responsibly in view of the environment if the room staff does not live this principle?

There are so many positives, staff were excellent, the room was way beyond my exepectations with ample storage space and the most comfortable beds ever! The food was really good considering it was buffet service and there were always plenty of sun loungers. The drinks were branded so you're not given any cheap stuff. The Royal Level is fantastic and definitely 5 star.

Despite how lovely the hotel was I have to be honest the Royal level is boring! It's so focused on being "adult" it's like being in library. No music around the pool whatsoever, just a DJ for 2 hours on a friday, surely a Spotify playlist! Couples are encouraged which is fine but watching them bob around the pool unable to let go of each other is slightly annoying and as the entertainment is so lacking on that side of the hotel there is nothing to do other than watch them, sleep, have your headphones stuck in your ears or read a book. Lastly booking for every meal for a buffet service is completely unnecessary.

We stayed at the Royal Level and this is highly recommended as it was a lot more quiet and a more relaxing stay. The property was really well kept and clean, the rooms were nice a spacious and the beds were comfortable and the pool area was really amazing with lots of chairs available. The food was good we loved the breakfast as well as the lunch menu and the dinner was also good with lots of variety. The best part of the hotel was the service which was incredible. Luisa who was serving drinks at the pool was amazing and made our stay at the hotel really nice! The staff at the reception and restaurant were also very kind and helpful!

Everything was absolutely amazing! One small thing was that there was no option for one king bed so we had to take 2 beds which were pushed together.

Very nice and large hotel situated close to the Yumbo center and with regular shuttles to the main beaches. Beautiful pool, large rooms with large terraces. Excellent food options, nice buffets and great breakfast. Pool service also great and staff very friendly. A visit to the wellness is also highly recommended. The app of the hotel is also very handy to know the property and book things.

The walls that separate the rooms seem to be thin and you can hear a lot of what is happening in the room next to you. Be aware of this.

The property itself was beautiful, as were the staff, and front of house, the place was spotless. However the last palmas airport, was a HUGE disaster, Ryanair , the security, was all over the place. That will put me off returning to Gran Canaria . Though I will definitely continue to visit Barcelo resorts in the Canary Islands. Such a shame, we felt like herded cows at a market, Ryanair staff were shouting at their clients, and the security staff at the airport were so rude and horrible to especially the older clients going through security.
