The hotel was very clean and is situated in a great location, the staff were very very friendly and accommodating, nothing was ever too much. The top rooms are great, which are at a slightly higher price but worth it.

There was nothing really negative as all adequate, if I was to make a point for improvement, this would be the access to reception down stairs and having to carry your luggage down and up.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily, and towels were refreshed each day — a detail we truly appreciated. The reception staff were extremely polite and welcoming, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The restaurant personnel (breakfast and dinner) were very friendly and attentive. The food selection was quite good and, in our opinion, well in line with a 4-star hotel standard. The location also suited us well — a pleasant 15–20 minute walk to the sea made for a nice daily outing. Overall, we were happy with our experience.

The only less positive aspect of our stay was the attitude of one of the bar attendants who was taking food orders during lunchtime. While most of the staff — especially the ladies and one of the two gentlemen — were kind and professional, the other gentleman (wearing a straw hat) came across as overly familiar in his communication. While this may be intended as part of the local charm, it did feel somewhat out of place for a 4-star hotel, where a more professional and courteous approach would be more appropriate.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Reception and restaurant staff make an effort every day to be receptive to all their guests. The location is excellent adjacent to the Yumbo , with access via rear entrance. Importantly the rooms are nice and fresh and have good sound insulation from the Yumbo. I had half board so lots of choices for breakfast and dinner, I’d say dinner caters well for German tastes, so lots of pork/meat options.

The hotel is great and has good facilities overall. It would be good to see More extensive gym facilities and perhaps a bigger sauna and jacuzzi.

the room, the pool the breakfast were all excellent. But the most amazing thing was the staff, who were extremely friendly and very helpful and the reason the hotel will be our first choice next time.

We had difficulty in booking the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. The options kept leading us to full board/ all inclusive. Although this is the best hotel we have stayed in in GC (after 20 visits), This would lead us to go elsewhere. As we have friends there we spend time with and favourite restaurants where we know many of the staff.

It was a fantastic holiday! but there is a hotel car that had an injury, and while the management assured me it was been looked after, I cannot help think that this cat should have been looked after better! It is staff after all! the management assured me it was looked after but I think they could have done more to makes its life better!

I wanted them to get the cat seen by a vet I cannot see a vet leaving a cat like this! So many pet lovers go to the hotel that if this cat isn't properly looked after one bad review( and I could easily have written a bad review, based on the perceived suffering of this cat) could ruin your reputation! whatever the cost this cat should be helped! what I would like to see is this cat been properly treated and rehomed away from life around the hotel!

It is perfect if you want to visit the Yumbo. I had concerns of noise but like other reviewers, the hotel is genuinely silent at night from any music or noise in the Yumbo. Hotel safe with a hotel gated access to the rear out into the Yumbo. The selection, variety and standard of the food for breakfast and evening meal is to be commended. There is something for everyone. Vast selection of breads, fry, fruit and make to order omelettes for breakfast. For evening meal, as well as the traditional buffet they have a chef preparing fresh cooked meat. Also great selection of salads and deserts.

I have been going to the Neptuno Hotel in Playa del Ingles for the last 18 years, mostly twice a year. As far as I am concerned it is just the best place ever.

Considering the variety available at each meal, the quality of the food was consistently more than acceptable - I was never really woed, but there was always something available to suit my taste. I think on a long stay it might get a bit repetitive eventually, they seem to cycle through dishes pretty quickly. But by far the best aspect of the hotel is the location, if you're there to enjoy the varied nightlife at YUMBO.

The hotel is rather dated and some of the facilities could use an update, including some accessibility upgrades. There was also some misrepresentation (or maybe just mistranlation) on Booking - my room was described as having both a bathtub and a shower but that was not true.

Excellent breakfast, great variety. Could do with a separate hot water system for those who want tea instead of having to wait for the coffee drinkers. Staff great .

The amount of stairs to get down to the hotel and once inside more stairs and even more to reception - very difficult with heavy luggage. As a single room occupancy person I objected, not for paying for a double room, but paying for two breakfasts, I brought this up with the reservations manager, but there was no give. It would have been nice to have been offered a couple of lunches or dinners to recompense, particularly as I could have brought someone off the street in for breakfast as I was paying for two.

Everything from check in to check out. The food and service was excellent from choice to quality. Lovely room, balcony and bathroom. Attentive maid service and cleaning. Bar and restaurant manager and staff were so friendly, welcoming and hard working. Great location. Our second visit.

Hyper overvigilant Pool attendant upsetting customers with sunlounger towel removal when they had gone for breakfast after 10 am. Very poor attitude, I know several different people around the pool made complaints about him.
