Having visited Gran Canaria for over 35 years and stayed in numerous hotels, including several five-star resorts in Meloneras, we were delighted to discover this wonderful boutique hotel. It’s a real hidden gem, offering a more intimate and personalised experience while being ideally located in Playa del Inglés. With restaurants, nightlife, and the beach all within easy reach, it truly offers the best of both worlds. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and the level of service throughout our stay was exceptional. We stayed in the main part of the hotel, Room 23, which had its own little garden backing onto the street that separates the hotel from the Yumbo Centre. As it was carnival week, we expected some noise, but to our surprise, the room was remarkably quiet, which speaks volumes about the quality of the soundproofing. The room itself was impressively spacious, featuring a comfortable sofa and two beds that combined to make an excellent king. It was well-equipped with all the amenities you’d expect from a four-star hotel, including tea and coffee-making facilities, an iron, and a large flat-screen TV with a few UK channels. The shower was particularly noteworthy—powerful and set within a striking large window. Fortunately, privacy is well maintained unless someone happens to be over eight feet tall! The bathroom was well-stocked with accessories, which is a thoughtful touch for anyone who may have forgotten essentials. Breakfast was included in our room rate, and the selection was fantastic. There were both hot and cold options available, and the chef prepared eggs to order. A particular highlight was the availability of back bacon—a rarity in Spain but a much-appreciated option for those who prefer it over streaky bacon. Another thoughtful feature was the two complimentary coffee machines, available daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

very peaceful and relaxing hotel despite being a stones throw from the Yumbo. Lovely pool and lounge chairs area. Breakfast is very good and never too crowded. Rooms are cleaned daily, all staff are very pleasant in the hotel. Kettle and fridge in room as well as safe. The bar also serves a nice cold beer and food during the day.

Only things that stop me giving the hotel maximum points are that. 1- in room glass partition between bathroom and bed, could be black instead of transparent glass, this will help block out early morning light from the back terrace. 2- I wish the hotel would leave the nice Expresso coffee machine on all day (this is switched off after breakfast), instead they only supply inferior coffee during the day.

Top location of this resort.. close to all sites of interest in Playa del Ingles. The resort is kept immaculate clean. Breakfast is extensive and because it is a relative small resort one does not feel to be in a tourist trap.

The resort consists of two locations (opposite each other in the same street. We were not located in the main building, hence a smaller pool (too small for a swim), additionally no free coffee during the day, unless you run across the street to get a coffee. The smaller location does not have a bar. What did strike me most though, is that the cleaning lady left the doors (back mainly), but also front door (one time) unlocked. Knowing from a previous experience, this can definitely invite theft.

This is our 3rd stay at Nayra but this occasion went for our honeymoon and upon arrival Nayra staff had already put a complimentary bottle of champagne on ice with glasses which was a lovely start to our stay. The complex is so peaceful and tranquil, you would never guess it was situated 200 meters from the busy lively nightlife of the Yumbo centre, just heaven.

The new door locks are very temperamental. We’re all for modern technology but we had to ask reception serval times to assure us the lock wasn’t faulty. A minor issue was the streetlight directly outside meant the room wasn’t completely dark to sleep soundly, but I doubt this is something they can address.

Spotlessly clean and staff were great - particularly Angela. Rooms had plenty of space and nicely appointed

Wi-fi did not work for iphones due to security protocols. Some noise from near by clubs audible through the night

Excellent location right next door to the Yumbo Centre but without hearing no noise, tranquil and peaceful, I liked how the property was split into two with the other rooms and pool a little further down the street, it made it feel more private.

I enjoyed everything about the property, however one small issue was the breakfast in the morning apart from eggs and English bacon, there isn’t much selection for individuals that like an English Breakfast in a morning, apart from that beautiful hotel.

Everything, really beautiful, quiet and spotless hotel. Pool lovely salt water, great little private garden bit out the back. Breakfast a lot of choice and all fresh and tasty. Staff so very helpful and all friendly. Excellent location. Clean towels given all the time, towels for Beach and or Pool, which were swapped for clean as often as you wanted, no deposit for pool towels, no deposit or charge for room safe. Fridge in the room. Complimentary Coffee and Tea, daily bottle of water in the room.

Nothing, if I had to say anything I wasn’t a fan of the sensor bathroom light, didn’t want it on at night blinding me when I used the bathroom and then it took quite a while to turn off but really this is nothing, this hotel was amazing.

A neat boutique hotel with spacious rooms and a small garden area at the back. Really great breakfast selection.

A small thing but the plugs in the washbasins didn't retain water for washing though clothes. The courtesy shower post check out is downstairs in the basement which is difficult to carry suitcase up and down and the shower has a motion sensors light which means when you are in the shower, it goes out and you are in the dark - it is dangerous.

Hotel Nayra is an excellent Hotel with an incredible location on Playa del Ingles in Gran Canaria, What i like most about it is the tranquility, comfort and location. The breakfast is complete and delicious with very attentive and helpful staff at all times to help you.

The internet does not work well, at least the two times i stayed there i had problem with the Wi Fi, but that is the only negative thing i have to say about the Hotel Nayra - Adults only.

We've had the most amazing time at Hotel Nayra. Service, accommodation, food, amenities, location have all been perfect for us. We're even considering coming back for another visit which is a rarity for us to visit the same place twice. Hotel Nayra being 'adults only' was what made it a truly magical and relaxing holiday, as it creates a perfect balance of all people, from all places, all enjoying a beautiful atmosphere together in one complex.
