The location.

The WiFi was not reliable and they have. Strict draconian no guests policy I was unaware of until I was at the hotel. Several friends were visiting Maspalomas the same week but we could only get together at their hotels. The policy states you can be evicted without refund for any violation. They really need to be more upfront at booking about this policy.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 14 nights and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with housekeeping ensuring everything was kept to a high standard throughout my stay. The location was perfect—right in the center, making it easy to access shops, restaurants, public transportation , walking distance to Yumboo Centre . It was very convenient for getting around the city. Overall, a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a well-located and clean place to stay.

The location was fantastic, 2 minutes walk to the airport bus stop and the yumbo centre. 10 minutes to the beach and 15 to the local neighbourhood of San Fernando. The apartment was lovely and felt very secure with a good sized bedroom with very comfy beds and a large built in wardrobe facing the back of the hotel, so quiet at nighttime. A decent size bathroom with a great pressure shower. A small but very practical kitchen with a large fridge, a microwave, a hob, a table with 2 stools and a large comfy sofa leading to the big balcony facing the front of the property and swimming pool. Check in/out was easy as the reception was manned and just before our arrival we got an email with a code to open the access gate, nice and helpful receptionist that called me when our room was ready as we checked in before the set time. Good size swimming pool, a small gym and enough sunbeds that luckily nobody reserved!. All in all a very pleasant stay at Las Gacelas.

The only downside was the lack of a decent WiFi connection in our apartment, but is this a bad thing? 🤣 No toiletries, but as we knew I got my own (lots of supermarkets nearby).

Excellent location for the Yumbo centre. Well fitted apartments for our needs. Wifi wasn't the best, but no complaint. Clean apartment overlooking the pool and sunbathing areas. Which were very clean. Lovely reception lady, and friendly cleaning staff. There was no aircon, but it was not needed as we stayed in April. Lift to all floors. Small gym, adequate for short term. Price was competitive too. A daily visit from a very tame African Collared Dove. I'd definitely recommend.

Basic, comfortable. The balcony is far from the bedroom so you don’t get the noise from the road near the Yumbo. Small pool but we’ll protected from the wind so you can sunbathe and swim even when it’s windy and the beach is no option.

Old kitchen equipment but the staff is very helpful to replace and adjust things. Only thing I did not like: they don’t allow visits. So if you’re alone and want friends around, that’s a problem. Often there is no one at reception either but they are reachable by phone.

Hotel is really well located with access to Yumbo and bus stops. The beach was a 10 minute walk and a really good supermarket was just across the street. All rooms seem to overlook the street and pool area, the pool is a decent size, not too busy and actually quite quiet for the hotel being on a busy street. Everything i needed for self catering was in my room and the rooms were much bigger than i expected. The staff were very friendly and collecting my keys from the lock box when i arrived at night was very easy. The free WiFi worked fine for me too. The TV in the room was a smart TV which was able to mirror my phone to play music and watch films on, which was really useful. The rooms have no air conditioning but if you leave the balcony door open and the bedroom window there was always a nice breeze. I would say this hotel really is value for money on room, facilities and location.

I really appreciate this property because it's conveniently located near Yumbo center, supermarkets, and a bus stop. The apartment is equipped with kitchen utensils for those who prefer to cook at home. It features a lovely balcony, a cozy bedroom, and a small swimming pool. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and friendly. A cleaner would arrive to tidy up the apartment or replace the bins and towels.

The only thing missing was a shower gel but I bought it it was so cheap.

Overall, this is a fantastic spot to stay. So close to the yumbo centre, however, with the bedroom to the rear of the property, there is no nighttime noise affecting sleep. The accommodation is great in size, plenty of room. If you want to go 'out and out' self catering, it's maybe lacking a little with utensils, but didn't affect my stay. Whilst the pool faces on to the road, it is relatively quiet to lie out. Good size pool too. There is a gym which is reasonably equipped for it's size, however, not always open. I'm sure staff, if around would open it on request.

The only niggle is that it's not always staffed at reception. So on arrival, I had to ring to get a code to open a key safe in reception to get a key for my room. No big deal if you're aware that may happen. A couple arrived same time as me and were a bit panicked as they weren't aware this may happen. It was a couple of days before I could get a WiFi code, might have been an idea to leave the details in the room for my arrival. No one on reception on my departure day, however, the maintaince staff did take keys and store bag securely for a couple of hours before my collection, so, if you're aware that you may have to do this, then I think it takes away that worry. It's not a big niggle if you're aware of it. Other than that, I definitely would recommend this property!

The property is in a fantastic location and handy for all local centres, and especially the beach. We think it has plenty space for 2 - 4 guests with the sofa bed of good size. With just two of us, we had so much room. The balcony is a sun trap and is glorious all day long in the sun along woth the pool. Staff were on hand to assist with any issues and we thank them for that and their pleasant nature!

There was little to not like about the property. The gym is no longer there (unless it has just been moved but no obvious signs). The property would be enhanced by way of an iron and maybe a washing machine like similar properties located within the complex.

I really liked the property! It had a great location, and the swimming pool was perfect for relaxing on windy days. The staff were incredibly friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you need to prepare quick snacks and breakfast. And last but not least, it offered excellent value for those who don’t mind staying in simple yet comfortable accommodation.
