The staff were excellent- always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location is fantastic- near all the amenities- bars, restaurants, coffee shops and Yumbo. Room was spotless and the beds were clean and comfy and cleaned daily with fresh towels. Food and table service was very good and varied each day. The reception staff were very attentive to my partner’s lack of mobility and they immediately changed our room so that we were very close to the lift. The facilities for checking out were also good and we were offered a curtesy room which we could get changed in after spending time by the pool on the last day. We will definitely return. Excellent overall!

Nothing really but it would have been nice to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room. We also were irritated by people reserving sunbeds with their towels early in the morning and not returning to them until the afternoon.

This was my first experience of a hotel holiday abroad so cant compare it to anything else. Staff were really friendly and helpful - room available before check in time. Room lovely clean good size (deluxe double facing pool and overlooking entertainment - only until 10.30pm which is good if you want a reasonable night's sleep) bed and pillows really comfortable (I usually struggle to sleep anywhere new but think must be a top quality memory foam mattress) slept really well. Breakfast choices great- full cooked, omelette bar, continental, cereals, juice, fruit everything you could want. I was B n B but spoke to people doing half board that said wide range of lovely dinner choices too. Pool area says lounger not to be reserved though people do - but I always found availability. Even got a Bali style bed one day - very comfy! Outside restaurant and bar good food choices and reasonable prices. 20 mins walk to dunes- 5 mins to Yumbo. Supermarkets nearby. I feel they've set the bar for me as a solo traveller, for this type of holiday and I would go back again.

Nicer than I was expecting for the price. Very good value. Comfortable room (although without functioning air con), the pool was a nice size and it was possible to get loungers every day, arriving at the pool late afternoon. Good selection of food in the buffet, and always something I could eat as a vegetarian. Staff didn’t seem to know what was and wasn’t vegetarian though. All but one member of staff were really friendly. Short walk to bus stops to get you around the island, and walkable to the beach and dunes. Plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops nearby.

Room was fine, had everything you would need, location of the hotel is great which is just opposite the yumbo centre. Staff were friendly and polite. Rooms cleaned to perfection every day. Pool side was comfortable and plenty of sun beds to choose from although some people to reserve the better ones from early morning. The bar was well stocked and staff friendly.

Would have preferred a shower tray instead of bath tub, room was located a good distance from reception, not ideal for people with mobility issues. Breakfast was fine, big selection of food just not things I liked.

Very nice staff. Rooms cleaned every day. Exeptionally clean. Hotel bar and swimming pool area are beautiful. Food choices for everyone. Really rich choice. You even get real honey comp, nuts, or prosecco. Fresh juices . English breakfasts and huge choices of continental breakfast . Really good stay. Although the furniture is a bit dated, the beds are really comfortable. I slept well every night. The reception lady is really nice . Everyone was lovely. The entire staff of a hotel - each function. Location perfect - just by Yumbo. I will come back and thank you to all staff.

My recent trip to Maspalomas was made even better by another wonderful stay at Servatur Don Miguel. After such a positive experience last year, choosing to return was a no-brainer. The hotel consistently impresses with its comfort and cleanliness. My room was very spacious and featured a delightful terrace, which was a real bonus. Beyond the room, the hotel's facilities are excellent, and the breakfast deserves a special mention – it's incredibly varied and delicious. The location is also ideal, being just a stone's throw from the lively Yumbo Centre and a short, enjoyable walk to the iconic Maspalomas dunes. I'll definitely be back for a third time!

Everything was wonderful, very clean, nice atmosphere and wonderful friendly staff. Swimming poole wonderful with a lots of sunbeds, this place also very clean, towel exchanged when you need. Hotels caffee bar was ok. Very good breakfast you really have everything what you like.

I have small issue to badroom there are not shower cabin only you have to jump into bath so is very dangerous and slipery I think many people use propely shower then bath. but generaly bathroom was perfect. The second was entertainment show for guest. it was not so good as should be, so there was no chance to keep guest in the hotel.

A fantastic stay, we really enjoyed the hotel and facilities. We found it to be excellent value for money and the location in Maspalomas really can't be beat. We've already booked to stay again!

Two minor things: 1. The mattress wasn't the most supportive and felt a bit old, that said, I never raised the issue with the hotel so wouldn't hold it against them (again, we've already booked another stay here). More just flagging it for the hotel. 2. At the bar by the pool it was often hard to get the attention of the staff when you wanted to place an order, or they would seat you and then just never come back. A couple times we waited so long that we ended up going elsewhere for food/drinks.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pool bar was excellent, and dinner offered a great variety of dishes — although a bit more creativity with spices would make it even better. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed. While it could definitely use some renovation, everything was clean and in working condition. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience.

One thing to keep in mind: the hotel is very large, so if your room is in a far wing, be prepared to do a lot of walking. :)

Staff, location, food and overall facilities

The hotel should be mindful of some externals coming into the hotel to pick up the best sunbeds spots around the swimming pool, whereas the guests themselves don't have a choice. I think this should not be allowed and it's for the hotel guests exclusively, otherwise make it really clear on the website that the swimming pool is open to externals. In addition, I stayed at Servatur Don Miguel three times and there has been a change in atmosphere due to some guest behaviour. The hotel should do its best to keep the high standards. I found it despicable some guests seemed to have never seen food before during breakfast and dinner. Despicable. Awful. Uncomfortable atmosphere. I might consider trying another option next time I'm at Gran Canaria.
