Friendly staff, very clean hotel and room, good breakfast, excellent bar and rooftop bar, beautiful area, safe. Definatekly better than being in very busy centre. The rooftop bar is awesome with the views. Very reasonable prices of food and drinks.

Nothing really. Only the parking... is at the railway/bus station, so a little far if you have luggage and not nice if it is raining. However the hotel is flexible to use the area in front for unloading and loading. It is also very expensive even with hotel discount, I paid 84 euros and the full price was 105 euros for 4 days

Breakfast was excellent as were all the staff , but please see comment below . Hotel is in excellent position for exploring the city.

We arrived late evening in Amara station in Sans Sebastián after a long delay on TGV , No taxis were available at station , phoned hotel and the manager showed no interest in even trying to assist us ….. a party of 4 , all over 70 and 2 with heart conditions eventually we had to walk with our luggage the 1.5km to the hotel . Subsequent conversations with same individual showed that he had no idea and no interest in supplying correct information or in fixing minor issues , I.e minibar fridge in room never worked during our 4 day stay

Friendly, welcoming and helpful reception staff. The room was modern, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. The roof top bar is pleasant. The hotel is just over a short bridge from the old town and main tourist spots (it’s about a 15 min walk from the centre).

There isn’t a car park but there’s a special arrangement with an (easy to use/access) underground car park about 300m away and you can unload outside the hotel.

We did not attend the breakfast but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us in all ways. We did dine at the roof top patio one evening and with the staff’s help had 2 “picnics” in our room two other evenings as well as one night down in the restaurant as we got rained out from up top. The night manager June, the day manager Joseph, the kitchen/bar staff Julien and Gorka and virtually everyone that we encountered went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The location and the view from the top are exceptional and this is a fabulous hotel with wonderful staff.!!

Well located, well maintained, impeccable service. The breakfast was great. European buffet. Good selection of local fare breakfast items with fresh orange juice and others to accompany. We were always close to closing and they were very accommodating. The room was elegant and comfortable with good AC, and daily housekeeping service. Rooftop bar was outstanding with clear view over river, bridges and to the ocean. Pre-dinner drinks are a must! But what stood out the most was the service. They really looked out for us, were helpful, and accommodating. Very friendly and pleasant!

Uncertain about the price after booking an 'economy' double room for single use, I was stunned that the room was so comfy - and more than adequate both in size and facilities. It certainly exceeded my expectations: a comfortable double bed; a huge bathroom; and a desk with coffee machine. Breakfast, served in the restaurant downstairs, was good. The view from my bedroom window was uninspiring, but this hardly mattered. Abba San Sebastián is a lovely hotel, with a roof terrace / bar giving great views down the river and out to the sea, allowing drinks before an evening meal in the town. (It was a pity it was closed for much of my stay. though this was due to poor weather.) Positioned by the river, access to the bus and main train station is easy and minutes away from the hotel. There is sometimes efficiency by staff, but here there was excellence, where individual staff members offered advice and suggestions. Particular mention should be made of June - who gave me such a warm welcome; of Thomas - who was so helpful, ordering me a bus ticket to Bilbao, saving me the trouble of queuing at the bus station; as well as of Ellie, serving in the often busy bar. Everyone, though, was kindness itself. Each one deserves credit.

Check in was good, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was really close to the bus station and also a great location for exploring the city. Breakfast was really nice too, all tasted very fresh and good quality. The rooftop bar/lounge area closes too early in my opinion but it’s still a nice area and the staff there are really friendly too. We had a fantastic corner room on the second floor with a balcony 207 The room was huge and the bed was massive and comfortable. The bathroom was nice but both the tiling in bathroom and shower area was really bad especially in the shower area. The bathroom had an electric sliding door which was a little strange too.

The tiling in the bathroom and shower area wasn’t great. Opening times of the rooftop bar a little restrictive.

Helpful staff. Convenience to the old Town and the Gro. Very comfortable beds. Convenient to the bus and train station.

The items on the negative side are mostly little oddities, but i will list them so others know what to expect. People with limited mobility should note that the entrance to the hotel has you going down a flight of stairs, although there is a little lift on the side. The bathroom door is electronically controlled, which left me asking why after a little while

Great hotel with a perfect central location, everything is very close. Stylish design, clean and comfortable. I especially loved the balcony, it’s a great place to relax next to the green trees. Good breakfast.

One thing that felt a bit unusual was that the bathroom was behind glass instead of being a separate room. The glass wasn’t transparent, but there was still no real separation, so light and sound could be disturbing. Also, there was a dirty cloth left in the wardrobe.
