We decided to splash out on a suite and I am so glad we did the room was great; modern, spacious, clean and comfortable on the top floor so noise from the road not a problem. Parking:-we parked for free throughout or stay on a road to the rear of the hotel with no problems mainly because when we parked it got left for the next four days. The staff were nice, spoke excellent English and the restaurant and bar were nice and surprisingly good value. Breakfast was excellent with typically Spanish dishes.

Not a problem for us but it is about a mile from the old town and mainly uphill so if you have mobility problems maybe look elsewhere however you can catch a bus from just outside for 1€ never used it but Spanish buses are easy. We did take a taxi one night right into the centre and it was 10€.

The hotel was an upscale hotel about 1 mile from the center city, with a great staff. Having A/C after a long hot walk was very welcoming. The room was very quiet. There was no real view from our room but we didn't stay in the room much. The bathroom was large and the towels, soap and hairdryer were all plush and welcoming. We ate one night time meal here and it was delicious. Very filling and worth the price. We ordered pizza from room service and it was incredible. Laura was our server for in house eating and the room service; she was so accommodating and very patient with all our questions. We ate breakfast here each morning for $15EUR and it was well worth the price. Lots to choose from and everything was so fresh and tasty. The hotel was less than 15 minute walk from the train station which was perfect for us since we needed to catch an early train.

The 3d bed was not a bed but a roll away and the mattress was much thinner than those of the other 2. Had I noticed it earlier I would have brought it to the attention of the hotel. I wondered why on the 3d night my body was aching. Not too much close to this hotel to see, but we did stumble onto the shopping mall, Costanera Center, it had so many stores.

The room is comfortable and spacious but has no coffee or tea facilities, though it has a small refrigerator. They clean the room every day, and the lobby is nice and cozy. It is so nice when we enter the hotel; there is a pleasant perfume smell. The restaurant and food are good, as are the staff. The parking fee is cheaper than other hotels and they said the parking fee is for every night but we were charged only for one night with our 3 nights stay. The hotel is near a big shopping mall.

The location is about 2.1 km walk from the center of Compostela, not a flat walk but it's not a problem if you like to walk. Taking the bus for us was not a big option so every time we had to walk from the hotel to the center. The parking area passages are small and a bit confusing but it can't be a problem if the driver is experienced.

-the last night, when I was ordering food, I noted the waiters did not understand English. I really want to encourage that for a 4 star hotel be English sepaker, at least one for things like this. However, please be kind to them, I did not mean to ruin their life, just suggest that for a 4 start hotel, English speakers are must. - the second thing not good is that between lucnha nd dinner, you cannot order food. No fruit or sth, it is kind not good, today from 6-8 pm I was hungry in my room waiting for the resturant to open at 8pm. I tjink e.g. you can seel basic stuff like fruits or biscuits at the bar for one who is willing to pay.

Great hotel very clean and comfortable bed. Staff are wonderful. Location is nice but keep in mind it’s about 30 to 35 minute walk to the old town. There are uphills for limited mobile people could be hard to walk, however there is a bus close by you can take. Shopping center is next door that was plus.

Distance which I was aware but didn’t know the steep roads you’ll have to take to reach old town.

We've been budget traveling through Europe, where most rooms have been very small. This hotel in contrast is extremely spacious, both rooms/beds and bathroom/shower. TV allows you to chrome cast from your phone. I was bed-ridden for a day and couldn't have asked for comfier surroundings. Short walking distance from major train/bus station and a nice park to walk in. Staff was exceedingly helpful and provided extra things for my mobility issues as well as an electric tea kettle for the room. Stayed for 2 nights mid-week, was extremely inexpensive in my opinion. Did not get chance to try restaurant or gym.

Only downside was the windows from the room looked onto apartment building opposite. About 15-20min walk to center of the city.

The hotel dining and reception area was bright and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. A good way to begin the day. There are two grocery stores nearby within 500 m and it’s 1.6 km to the old area of the city and a bit further to the cathedral. A taxi ride was about 8 EUR. It’s well situated to the bus and train terminal. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I would trade the two knob like stools in the room for a small sofa or two chairs.

Stayed here at the beginning of our trip, we walked the Camino Way. Excellent room, spacious, clean and air conditioning worked well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent, buffet style continental breakfast with lots of choice. Only hotels we stayed in with Oat milk. Only downside location for us.

Great hotel and no real complaints. Location is near bus and train station but a 20-25 min walk from city centre and the sites. But worth it for the quality if hotel.

l had the evening meal here, and it was ok. Very much std hotel fare. Needs to be more varied with Spanish options. It is a bit of a walk to the town centre, but if up for it you can go via the park for part of the way. Otherwise, you need to get a taxi.

After staying at the same branch hotel in Madrid that had the most amazing breakfast buffet included for it's guests...I am a little disappointed that wasn't an option at this hotel in Santiago de Compostela. In fact - the breakfast price of 14 euro/person seemed so high that we just walked up the street and grabbed something elsewhere. If breakfast was supposed to be included here - the staff certainly never informed us. They didn't really provide us any information at all when we checked in.

Wish the staff could've been more helpful. Some were great - others seemed annoyed by our questions.
