The excellent aspects were: The staff were all wonderfully cheerful, friendly and helpful. The location was superb, just one street away from the cathedral square and Alcazar Palace, and yet the hotel was very quiet and restful. There was a delightful roof terrace with a covered area and great views of nearby decorative rooftops and the gorgeous tower of the cathedral. The breakfast was good (in the lovely, light and verdant dining room) and, as well as the usual continental and cooked breakfast, they also had some extra healthy options of mashed avocado and mashed cooked tomato.

There was nothing specific that I didn't like but small changes that would have been good were: an extra comfortable chair in our room (there was only one for the two of us), a bar on the roof terrace and restaurant (there were bars but they were closed), and a restaurant service in the evening (although there were plenty of tapas bars in the neighbourhood).

The facilities, including the size of the bathroom. Slippers and bathrobe supplied. Good quality water bottles were complimentary and restocked every day. Good hot drinks station in the room. Detox juice at breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable. Receptionist who checked us in and out was lovely. Packed us a picnic when we had to leave early and couldn’t make breakfast, which was very sweet. The internal architecture of building is impressive.

Breakfast could have had more vegetarian options. Eggs really shouldn’t be in the same container as meats. More fruits would be welcome but may not have been in season. No lock on the bathroom door. Bathroom could have better ventilation but it is an older building. Room was a good size for a couple but for a group, the arrangement of furniture was a bit awkward at times.

Location was brilliant, staff could not have been more helpful and were efficient and friendly. Air conditioning in bedroom was easy to operate and quiet so didn't interfere with our sleep. We didn't use the honesty bar but lovely to know it was there but we did appreciate and use the 24 hr complementary tea and coffee. The herbal tea bags in particular were delicious.

Our room was not a standard shape and the window was at the thin end of wedge shape so the room was darker than I would have liked. I did not see a photograph of our room on the hotel or Booking.com website so feel a bit mislead. We had asked for a quiet room, appreciate that in the centre of a city that is difficult to achieve but would have expected to be on the first floor and not the ground. We only stayed 3 nights so did not mention this to staff who I'm sure would have moved us if they could. I would have liked the breakfast food to be labelled with allergy information, but managed so didn't mention this to staff. Breakfast was delicious.

Great location so quick to all the sights and restaurants. Nice room. Breakfast good overall with lovely fruit selection and variety of fresh bread and rolls. Staff so very friendly and helpful.

As weather had been cold the promised air con was switched off but bedding was warm with winter duvet and we were too hot every night. Sometimes noisy outside but mostly quiet, not a busy road just people coming and going over the road in the hotel and noisy cobblestones when things were dragged over them!

Staff was exceptional with customer service helping us to navigate and adjust to the intricate and unique aspects of the Old City. Highly recommend but be aware of location in old narrow streets were only the best of drivers can go. Parking is not available. We were not driving so it was great place for us near attractions and dining. We did say tours to Alhambra at Granada and The White Villages, Ronda.

Google maps did not work on the cobble street network surrounding the hotel.

The location couldn't be better - just up the road from the Cathedral, tucked away in a lovely little lane. The staff, especially Laura, went out of their way to help and were charming and welcoming. We had good recommendations for typical Spanish food/restaurants. The hotel has a lot of history which has been preserved where possible. It is elegant without being pretentious, very calming and tastefully decorated. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom modern, with all the goodies you would want! (including sumptuous bathrobes). Then there's the courtesy drink on the roof terrace bar, with lovely views. In addition, we were helped in an efficient way to retrieve a mobile phone which was left in our taxi to the Airport; thank you Laura!

You are unlikely to get a view from most of the rooms as the roads surrounding it are so narrow, but it could be worth inquiring. Upper floors are better in order to avoid hearing activity down below. I didn't try the breakfast as there are plenty of places to eat in very close by.

Friendly, helpful, professional staff - they went above and beyond to help us to navigate Sevilla tapas and flamenco scene! The palace is a wonderful blend of old and new. There are interesting and beautiful artifacts for you to discover like vintage crafted hardwood ceilings but the bathrooms have modern plumbing and they use key cards for instance. The location is amazing for walking the city. We felt very safe walking in the area at night. We liked this place so much we booked 2 times and each time our room layout was different giving us something fun to discover.

Wow! The room was huge!! And beautiful (loved the ceiling). It was perfect for our family of four. The location was perfect!! Within walking distance of important sights, restaurants and shopping. They provided complimentary waters that were cold in the mini refrigerator. We had a large bathtub in the bathroom and quite the fancy shower (electronic controls). All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had some laundry sent out and were satisfied with it, but it was quite pricey (the convenience was worth it for us). Breakfast was nice, but limited selection of items.

Because the room was so big and had high ceilings, it was harder to keep cool to our comfort level. It want hot, but we would have liked it cooler.

Situated close to the city center, making the availability to the “must-sees” and good restaurants very convenient. Large, clean and comfortable room in an old palace that has been renovated in the most elegant and carefull style. Professional and forthcoming staff which was able to assist us in any of our needs.

We missed the opportunity to spend the sunset on the rooftop-bar, but with good alternatives nearby this is just a minor inconvenience.

Palacio Pinello hotel is GORGEOUS!! Stunning. And, the location is superb. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional and kind. We were also able to easily take a taxi to and from the hotel from where we parked in a parking garage outside the old city (which I recommend to avoid driving in the teeny narrow streets of the old city). We were so happy here and felt so special--breakfast was wonderful and the hotel is beautiful. You have everything you want right outside the front door of the hotel. We absolutely can't wait to stay here again!
