The pool, the amenities, clean room and outdoor area. The staff was very pleasant, great location.

My friend booked in the same hotel and his room was ready hours before mine. They put me on a text list, but never received any notifications and just had to keep checking at the front desk. There was one staff member that kept bugging me and my guest and at one point demanding $75 dollars cause I had over two guests with me at the pool when I confirmed there were three allowed. We paid him $75 just to leave us alone cause it became harassing and annoying. Everyday this same staff member had something to say to me or my guess, but besides that everything else was great.

the location, terrace, pool and beach were impeccable and the food was delicious.

according to the reservation, breakfast was included in the price, but this was not true. We were given a coupon of $20 per day per head and had to pay the tax and high service charge every day.

I'm a repeat guest of this property, and my stay here is always great. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. I particularly love the staff and the familiar faces when I return. The location is within walking distance to lots of good restaurants and the beach is the hotel's back yard. If you like to walk, there is a lot to see on a short stroll right outside on the boardwalk. The pool is popular with guests but the beach service is second to none.

Never had any issues. So there is nothing about this property that I don't like. I love everything about this place!

The location was great - right on the beach and centrally located to walk to shops , restaurants and bars . Ocean drive was only a 15 minute walk away . The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Shout out to the bellman Luis , who was very knowledgeable about the hotel and room amenities, plus gave us some good recommendations on where to eat . Rooms were comfortable and clean and we had a nice balcony .

The noise - our room had an industrial size aircon unit attached to the outer wall and it was very noisy listening to it firing up both in the room and on the terrace all day and night .

Location was excellent, hotel decor was modern and clean. Pool was nice but there were far too few sunloungers, so I never got a chance to even lie by the pool. Room was comfortable.

The music by the pool was very loud and the young party scene was not really the right place for a quiet day lying by a pool. This hotel is not really family friendly. Definitely a younger party scene. You have to spend a minimum on food and drinks to be able to rent a cabana, and there were not enough sunloungers so I couldn't really take advantage of the lovely pool area. The drinks at the beach are way over priced, and take forever to arrive. Other than this is was still an enjoyable stay.

The room was comfortable and spacious enough. It had a TV, desk, and mini fridge which was convenient. They cleaned it really well and even gave me a room plant pal! The lobby, restaurant, pool and outdoor spaces were just gorgeous. They had DJs both inside and outside playing really good music. They were undergoing some renovations but it wasn't any big inconvenience. The 'spa' was just a little room near the pool but I was able to get a very nice massage then go straight to the pool - talk about relaxing!

The bathroom sink was a little small; but you can tell they were working with limited space in the old bones of this hotel and it was still usable. The AC stayed in the 60s the whole time and I couldn't adjust it when I wanted to, but I like it cold anyway.

The location was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful! Caroline at the front desk was super helpful! I was celebrating my birthday and she sent a very nice amenity and note. The pool staff was excellent!

The property was well maintained and clean. It is an older art deco building that has been renovated recently. We reserved a room with a terrace and on the website it appears to be a private terrace, however, we shared a terrace with two other rooms and it was divided by plants. Other than that, the property is acceptable.

Perfect location right in the heart of South beach. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The property had everything you needed and lovely extras: a coffee bar in the mornings, yoga in the mornings, free drinks for an hour in the evening, water and sun lotion by the pool.

I read some reviews about the small bathrooms they are small but honestly do the job it didn’t bother me. The service in the connected restaurant was shocking. I was waiting over an hour for breakfast, the manager was really apologetic and didn’t charge and it was possibly a bad day.

Big and nice room, nice facilities, and good location close to the beach and lively area in town. The hotel also gracefully compensated for all the little flops mentioned below. Nice staff.

Bath room was too small. Also the room were not done when we arrived and usually after 5 pm, which was too late. On other matters, reserving bicycle that were complementary was a nightmare as the location is handle by a private company.

Great pool, easy to get to a beautiful beach. Food service at both locations. Great location: tons of restaurants to choose from. Short walk to iconic Ocean Drive. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Yoga every morning is a nice touch!

Music from restaurants across Collins Avenue was very loud until midnight on a SUNDAY (Mother’s Day)???? Not Surfcombers fault by the way.
