The hotel was in a great location, very close to multiple metro stops. We felt safe walking around in the area even at night. The Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had a small balcony and a view( just the tip of the Eiffel Tower) but was totally worth it. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. There are many restaurants and shops close to this hotel. Just a block away from Notre Dame. We loved this hotel, and the area. The hotel had a mini fridge and a lift so you don't have to worry about climbing stairs after a long day of walking around the city. It made all the difference in our trip.

The room size was easily adequate, and the location is brilliant. The room was great; comfortable beds, plentiful hot water, a good shower with plenty of towels, additional blankets and pillows in a cupboard. The two concierges with whom I dealt were extremely friendly and generous with their help; one in particular was helpful in ensuring that a slightly patchy wifi problem was resolved. They were an utter pleasure to deal with.

The only quibble I can think of is that there is no kettle/teacups as standard in the room, but they were provided on request. The room was a tiny bit too warm overnight for my taste, but I think it would meet most travellers' preferences.

Lovely, well furnished small hotel in a great location. Very friendly and polite staff. All had a good quality about it and very clean. Drinks on fridge but no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. I solo traveled so single room which had a delightful roof top to enjoy. Fantastic location. Lots of places to eat. Close to metro and RER links. Line B direct to Charles DG airport. Would recommend.

I had to report an irritating buzzing noice which I think was probably the air con. Was a shame as it cause a lack of sleep. I should of contacted reception at the time

We stayed in the Triple Room. Absolutely worth a few bucks more. Roomy and QUIET as it is off-street. We have stayed here in years past (last time 16 yrs ago) and Henry IV has done a good job of keeping up this old building. I was very pleased. This is a really good option for location, price, and quality.

Do not eat at the place almost across the street with the maroon awnings. Yuck. Instead, go uphill a couple blocks to Bistro Du Perigord. Mmmm...

The rooms are comfortable and the view of the church (from most windows) is pretty special. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of the Latin quarter with Notre Dame, Shakespeare book store and many restaurants, shops & cafes nearby. They held our luggage until the rooms were ready, easy taxi access right in front is a plus. Small continental breakfast area does the job when you don’t have time to go enjoy the cafe scene. Site-seeing- We walked to most sites including the Louvre, D’Orsay, Saint Chappell, Le Marais, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, all within a 10-30 min walk. We took uber to the Eiffel Tower & Montmartre.

We booked 4 rooms, all similar with views of the church. One room on the 5th floor (501 or 502) unfortunately had a VERY BAD smell. The hotel was fully booked during our stay, so unfortunately the guest had to endure it for 5 nights- and though it was mentioned a couple of times during the stay, no compensation was offered to her and there was no alternative.

Absolutely perfect location just across from St. Severin, easy to access all the restaurants in the Latin Quarter and just steps from Notre Dame. Despite the location, the rooms were very quiet without any street noise. Air conditioning was good in one of our rooms but was not as cool as I would have liked in the other. Rooms were clean with extra pillows available, and the shower was easy to work without flooding the bathroom. The staff was lovely to accommodate our two rooms right next to each other. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The wifi was very spotty - it would cut off and redirect to the hotel page every few minutes. I also had poor cell reception in the hotel. We were told that there would be an additional charge for the breakfast, although I had booked the rooms with breakfast included. We chose to get something from local patisseries or cafes instead. Our double room was VERY small, significantly smaller than the twin room we had booked for our children.

This is the second time I have stayed at the hotel and they were just as good as the first. The staff were friendly and helpful and even gave us a few French lessons. We asked for a kettle and they kindly sorted it out for us. The location is excellent and the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. I had also asked for a room I had stayed in last time and they accommodated my request. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent as it’s close to lots of tourist places. However this does mean that there is a little bit of noise on a night. Worth noting if this would bother you.

The only thing I could pick an issue with was we had requested a cot (travelling with our then 5 month old baby) and when I double checked with the hotel that we would have a cot (the day before we arrived) they confirmed they did not have a spare cot. It wasn’t too much of an issue as we could bring our own travel cot but it did make the travel from the airport on the metro a little more tricky and if I hadn’t of checked about the cot we would have arrived with no where for baby to sleep. So my only negative comment really is that the hotel didn’t let me know in advanced that the cot was not available.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was clean and comfortable, and it was in a fantastic location (I even had a view of Saint Séverin from my room, which was a nice surprise!)

Was on the second floor so there was some street noise and a bright light from a street lamp if I didn’t have the curtains completely closed, but not the fault of the hotel and didn’t really affect my stay at all.

The welcome very good... Room clean, use soap, most places have no soap.. comfortable and very nice bad, sheets are good... I didn't take breakfast.. Location just excellent.. I didn't take any transport for 2 days.. The people were friendly.. And very cosy, like home style.. newsletters, books, sofas, and plugs available... All good, thank you..

All good.. I think I would have liked with more window (quite dark, only a small window ) or window to look at the life... But I was happy, since I organized in a very short time.. I was still happy with a little balcony, to have fresh ait..
