Small nice hotel in a superb location to explore central Paris. All the major sites are within walking distance. Despite the central location, the room was rather quiet. We lived in a room on the 4th floor facing the inner quad (but it looks nice, no noisy vents or anything like that). Staff members are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming! Clean nice bathroom, good room service.

The room is quite small (but all in all that's central Paris, this part is not surprising). Just be prepared for that. You can see it's not brand new, but that's fine. I personally felt like the photos on the website all-together oversold the look of the room (although the room on photo 9/28 looks exactly like the one we stayed in). I always aim to find a holiday stay with a beautiful entourage, so that it doesn't feel like a hotel you are staying at on a work trip. In that sense, it felt a bit underwhelming. Still great location and stay anyway.

4th time we’ve stayed at La Tamise. The location is just perfect for exploring the city. Sahil at the hotel is just so attentive to everyone’s needs. He remembers how people like their eggs, coffee, tea in the mornings and is so helpful with information about the city. It’s all too easy to take great service for granted but you don’t get it everywhere. The hotel gave us a gift of champagne to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was nice of them. Rooms were cleaned everyday very nicely and fresh towels put out.

The beds are very hard. More hard than I remember them being and so my sleep was not as comfortable as it has been in the past.

First of all, the location is amazing. You are situated in the center of the city, museums are really close, we walked everywhere by foot to see the city. Breakfast is great, I can’t remember the name of the staff member that helped us with the breakfast, but he was very kind and polite. We stayed at the room 11, so if someone from La Tamise knows the name of the staff member that welcomed us on January 9th, say hello to him. Clean sheets, comfortable beds, all the toiletries you need, perfect accommodation. We’re really impressed with the whole experience. Would stay there again for sure!

We are very pleased with everything, no complaints.

The staff were incredibly hospitable and made our stay very enjoyable. We truly appreciate the accommodation for early check-in after our red eye flight. Breakfast is delicious and the made to order cappuccinos each morning were a treat. The location is fantastic and walkable to so many key attractions. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Our family of four had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. Huge thank you to the Hôtel La Tamise team for making our stay so memorable!

We loved everything about our stay.

This hotel is a little gem in a beautiful city. I was made to feel so welcome on arrival complete with a glass of champagne and a room upgrade. Had a charming first floor room with a street view. The room was thoughtfully equipped and I really appreciated the heated towel rail, magnifying mirror and superbly lit bathroom. The level of service and attention to detail was second to none. I would love to return. Thank you to all those concerned for a fabulous and memorable visit to Paris.

Absolutely nothing.

Location was fantastic! The Louvre and Angelina's Cafe were a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. We were also able to walk to a variety of other attractions including the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, cafes and shopping. The room was perfect and had the Parisian charm we were hoping for with newly rennovated modern amenities. The room was extremely clean, quiet, with a very comfortable bed. There is an elevator if you prefer not to do stairs. The staff were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.

Everything was perfect.

The location near the Tuileries Gardens is excellent and very handy for the Louvre Museum and the Musee D’Orsay. Other nearby locations are the Place Vendome, the Place de la Vendome and the Elysee Palace. The Rue St Honore is Paris’s equivalent to Bond St. Despite being next to the Rue de Rivoli, the hotel is very quiet. The staff were also very pleasant, which, of course, always helps.

The bedroom I had was clean and comfortable but a bit on the small side as I’ve found from many trips to Paris to be the norm.

The exemplary customer service and friendliness of the staff is what really made this stay enjoyable. In particular, Saleh was outstanding because I saw him tthe most, but I would like to commend the others as well. The location was ideal for seeing the Louvre, Tuliries Gardens, and other historic sites. The facilities are very clean and comfortable with added extras such as heated towel racks, great toiletries, complimentary bottled water. coffee, creamer, and a good breakfast with great service. We wwre treated like family and really appreciated that. 👏 👏 👏

On arriving we did not stand on reception as all the other hotels do.We sit on a desk and did our check in (the same by sitting on check out)it is very important very human They had used every thing very good quality The bath towels ,the blanket which is light but makes you very hot the shover very satisfactry And more than all the hospitality the friendship of the workers made us feel as if we are among our family.They helped us a lot to get in contact in French with awful Amazon system which sends us a bag of sand in a playstatıon parcel .and tried to help us as much as they can

An incredible hotel in a perfect location for exploring landmarks and attractions. A few minutes’ walk from the Louvre and a brisk 30-40 minute walk in the opposite direction to the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower. The hotel staff members were wonderful - smiley, kind and helpful. We received a warm welcome, with complementary champagne offered, and found our room to be very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Rue d’Alger is connected to Rue de Rivoli, where you will find an inviting array of shops, cafes, restaurants and other businesses. There are also some very exclusive hotels nearby and we happened to cross paths with none other than Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster, who were in town for Rod’s last ever concert in France. Overall, a fantastic trip. We loved Paris’ stunning architecture, vibrant culture and lovely people. It was good to see the preparations for the Summer Olympics in full swing but that did, unfortunately, mean quite a few roads and pavements were blocked off.
