Great location near Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Very clean. We had a lovely room with high ceilings and a balcony. Blackout curtains included.

Three towels were provided for two people, and we were told there was no way to change that because “it’s the setup.” I’m not used to sharing towels with others, so we requested an additional one, which was provided. However, the towels were changed daily (which is nice, but not very environmentally friendly), and after each cleaning, there were only three towels again. During our week-long stay, we had to ask for an extra towel at reception seven times. I’ve never encountered such an absurd fuss over something so simple.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, with rooms and common areas well maintained throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming us with a smile and always ready to help. Its location just a short walk from Paddington Station made getting around London quick and easy - the perfect base for sightseeing and enjoying the city.

While the hotel had many positive aspects, there were a few downsides to note. The layout is quite narrow, with a lot of stairs throughout the building, which can be challenging if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. The small, older lift only goes up to the third floor, so be prepared to carry your bags if you're staying higher up. The rooms, though clean, tended to get a bit warm, especially in summer. As for breakfast, while it was plentiful and fresh, it could be improved with the addition of more savoury items like ham or bacon.

We stayed in a room on the top floor, which is more like a mansard; it was small but adequate, if you are busy all day and need a place to crash at night. The room was clean, the bed comfortable enough. Breakfast was nothing fancy but did the job nicely. Good for a short stay for a few nights. There are a few restaurants and pubs nearby, and the Paddington train and tube stations within a few minutes' walk.

There is no air-conditioning, and on the top floor right under the roof it may get quite hot in summer. Also, it would be nice to have a small refrigerator.

Excellent location. This is a good clean basic hotel with great friendly staff. The rooms are average size with good TV . Our en-suite was very small but the shower was good. Toiletries were basic . Towels and bedding were ok pillows could have been better.

Location is excellent , staff superb and the hotel has the feel of a homely and welcoming bed and breakfast. Breakfast provision too!

I had a loft room and with a current knee injury struggled with the steep loft stairs. Room was comfortable but as a single bed room in the loft it was quite small. Overall good value for money with the breakfast more than enough to set you up in the morning.

Small, cosy room where you have all you need for a short stay. The space is limited, though perfectly optimized, to make the stay comfortable. All the basics are in place. The bathroom was refurbished. All in order with the hot water and the heating! The team at reception, very kind!

Mind there is a lift up to the 3rd floor and then for the 4th you have to climb the stairs.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also made a small surprise for my daughter's birthday. The location is great, close to Paddington Station and walking distance from Hyde Park and Oxford Street. The room was tiny but had everything we needed. We left our luggage at the hotel for the whole day after checking out..

The bathroom could be equipped with some shelves to put your personal belongings.

The room was very clean and quite comfortable. We were in the attic room, the steps for the last flight was very steep, if you don’t want to climb, book a lower floor room. Can’t fault the staff or the property.

I loved everything. The breakfast,the room,the view and how warm and cosy it was. Rooms serviced everyday. Generous selection at Breakfast. And so close to the museums,tube/train station and so many cafes and restaurants. Even a supermarket. Honestly,an absolute find.

Continental breakfast was quite limited. No instructions how to use egg boiler. No explanation of what was on offer. VERY dirty under bedside units. Stairs to floor 4 were VERY tiny, almost like a cottage style so may be unsuitable for larger framed people.
