The hotel had a wonderful vibe and relaxed atmosphere... The rooms were wonderful, clean, warm and had everything needed for a lovely stay.. Loved it...

The one downside was that we wanted to stay at the hotel in the evening for an evening meal and a drink and enjoy the hotel vibe, however, they only have a bar area for food and the restaurant is only open for breakfast??? What a massive shame and it can't just be us who do not want to eat in a bar area and forces people to go out to eat. Open the restaurant please, it is such a wonderful place, and this let's it down, not everyone wants to eat in a bar with the big screen on in the background.

We decided to stay just out of the city due to adequate and free car parking. No problem as a bus stop right outside with a bus every 10 minutes into the city. Also a nearby tram stop (Cinderhill). We were amazed at the outside of the property with a moat like pool housing ducks and a couple of small fountains. Very clean impression from the start. Reception and furnishing very modern and striking. The receptionists and all staff we spoke to were all pleasant and polite. The breakfast was a very good choice of Continental and full English breakfast items, well presented and tasty. Would highly recommend this hotel. We had a great 2 day break in and around Nottingham.

Can honestly not think of a single complaint.

This is a superb hotel. Stylish in design, the rooms are of a good size with comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. The small things make such a difference, flannel prettily rolled up, lights in the wardrobes, a night light in the bathroom, the sleek bedside table, the drawers, the USB ports and numerous plug sockets. The room was very clean and fresh and the air conditioning a boon during the heatwave. All the staff were extremely friendly and polite, the breakfast superb and the bar meals tasty. A couple of extra small requests were fulfilled quickly. Very impressed and we will be back here. Furthermore, even though quite a large hotel it was quiet.

We arrived at an awkward time (extremely early, 4.45am) but it wasn't a problem to the wonderful warm and friendly night staff - we went into 308 and unfortunately by evening it became apparent the air con didn't work but a phone call to reception and it was quickly sorted and we changed rooms to 258 which was fantastic, it had working air con and was perfect for our needs (recovering from heart surgery) we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the room, we only managed to have breakfast once but it was exceptional! Lots of delicious choices and we were greeted warmly by a male breakfast host (I didn't catch his name) but he was so lovely! All in all the hotel is excellent with a fabulous team of staff (especially the night shift lady)

The geese - they are very temperamental due to having babies - they poop everywhere at the front and you really have to watch where you stand as the poo is pretty big! Im not sure if the hotel is wanting the wild garden look to feed the bees but a little of garden maintenance would greatly improve the appearance outside No TV mirroring, would very good to have that on your TVs

The staff were friendly and accommodating, i.e., reception, restaurant and housekeeping,

I asked for a couple of bottle waters for the room and was told that I had to purchase them. Also, I enquired the Sunday afternoon before checkout, about a late check out on the following day, and was told that there wasn't any availability, which I found surprising. I asked another member of staff whilst on our way to breakfast, on Monday, the check out day, and a very helpful and friendly male receptionist asked what time I had in mind and informed me of the additional cost. It wasn't a problem.

From the moment we checked in the staff were so receptive and engaging and very informative on providing information on taxi service, due to the high temperatures we were offered a cold drink/ice-cream/cookie and Receptionist re-iterated if we needed anything during our stay to ensure we contact Reception who can assist. Interaction with all staff during our stay was amazing, they were all friendly/attending and very polite when answering queries. The food was to an exceptional standard and such a wonderful selection of fresh fruits/pastries along with cooked breakfast - F&B staff were very efficient with refilling hot drinks for guests and cleanliness in Restaurant was excellent.

Could not fault anything at this Hotel location 10/10

Had an issue with the TV unable to turn audio description off. After stumping two lovely members of staff they kindly replaced the tv with a working one and went above and beyond!

The personal text from a personal number, whilst a personal touch it did spook me a bit at first and I was wary of scams. Also the lady on the desk asked for me to sign three things, 1st being I agree to charges for damages 2nd agreeing to the hotel charging my card for the stay 3rd I don't remember. However I had paid in full in advanced so didn't sign the 2nd one as I felt they was no need, didn't want accidently charging again.

The Hotel is quite hidden off a busy road but quite pretty from outside and quite nice inside. Very near to shops.

We were given an adjoining room without notification shared with total strangers. Although the door had a lock on, it it was very upsetting and uncomfortable for me as it could be opened anytime, giving access to our room and belongings. Fortunately, once I explained the situation to a member of staff, it was rectified quickly by moving us to another room, and although it was smaller room than the first adjoining room, I was happy to be moved.

The hotel eas in an excellent, convenient, easy to get to location with very good facilities. The room was very comfortable, clean & pleasantly spacious with a large, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was up to the usual high standard with a good selection of cooked and continental style food. Staff were on hand to serve tea & coffee. The Reception staff were very helpful & friendly and we would like to mention a special "thank you" to Dennis at the Reception desk who made us feel very welcome from the first moment of arrival.

Perfect. All was very good.

The room was lovely, big & clean. The bed was very comfortable. The reception staff were fantastic. The ground are lovely and they have ducks!!!

The glass lift could do with a clean. As you can see everything, the whole life shaft needs a good clean as it looks very dirty. The lift itself was great, simply what you could see going up. The guy on the bar of a night was so rude and abrasive. I was very disappointed by his behaviour. We brought some food in from a nearby food shop as the bar only did sandwiches. He made a very rude passive aggressive comment toward myself. If he would have just mentioned you can’t bring food into the bar area politely, I would have been more than happy to move up to my room. He however questioned whether I thought it was acceptable, and made comments about my group. The sandwiches were an extortionately priced also. Nearly £20 for 3 cups of tea also.
