The location is very good! And interior design also good, and food perfect!

The roomcard didn’t work properly! And considering the price much more was expected also not very laughing people and not sympathy was shown. 4-star hotels are better at this, 5-star you expect better. Also there is a pay in advance for the mini-bar of €100 euro. ABSURD!!!

The roomsand the hotel as well was good

There is a big issue in the hotel , there are no shuttle access to the hotel we walked long distance to reach a taxi with our bags , and I had big bag 30 kg and small bag as well and rain was falling , I don’t know what to say especially that there was no permission for the hotel bill boys to go outside and help also

The location itself was great. I also appreciated the building's aesthetic. The SPA was a definite highlight, especially the massages which were fantastic. Breakfast was acceptable, just not particularly memorable. Finally, the elevators were quite stylish and had a cool vibe. Bed was comfy.

So, things were a little mixed up during our stay. First, the housekeeping staff seemed a bit off – Our stay got off to a slightly confusing start. On the first night, we only had one duvet on our kingsize bed, which was odd. Then, it seemed there was a towel mix-up – the hand towels were replaced with oversized shower towels. And when I specifically requested hand towels, the staff brought us bottled water! I ended up having to call reception to get the towel situation straightened out. Also, our room key kept getting messed up every time I went through the security gate at the entrance, which was pretty annoying. The Fish Restaurant was definitely on the pricier side. And the other restaurant just felt like it was missing something, a bit lifeless.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Upon arrival, we were given a beautiful but very cold room. We reported to reception that we were cold and that it was impossible for us to sleep in these conditions. They brought us a portable radiator and extra blankets, but the night was still unbearably freezing and we couldn't sleep. At breakfast, we met Nadhim who asked us about our night. We explained our dissatisfaction, and he contacted Buthaina, with whom I was able to speak in French. She immediately took charge of our problem and assured us that upon our return from our walk, we would be given a new room. Thanks to the intervention of Nadhim and Buthaina, our stay in this hotel was pleasant and we thank them again. Nice hotel, in need of a little freshening up, but ideal location. Thank you."

Everything was amazing at this property. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking to stay in Istanbul. It was an amazing experience. The location, the room, the service, the staff. In particular Nadeem - he made our experience unbelievably amazing. He was always welcoming, happy to help whenever we needed anything, making recommendations and extremely welcoming. He also upgraded my room to the junior suite which was amazing - he really as amazing at his job and made our experience 10/10 at this hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again - by far the best I’ve been to in Istanbul. I would also like to say Hilal was also amazing at guest relations she was extremely helpful.

I didn’t like that sounds could be heard from the rooms next door - walls don’t seem sound proof enough which was disturbing sleep at times.

All staff were excellent. A special thanks to the cleaning staff as well as the staff at reception, they were extremely helpful. The location was perfect. This is our second time staying at the Legacy Ottoman, as a family of six and we are very satisfied with our stay once again.

The elevator was broken for the whole week we stayed, it could have been fixed sooner, as this only left one elevator. The room key cards would stop working every other day which was frustrating to continuously have to change. The furniture for the rooms could be updated. We are planning on coming again and hope to see these changes next time!

I had an incredible stay at the Legacy Ottoman Hotel in Istanbul! The location is unbeatable, right in the very heart of the city. Hilal, from the guest relations team, was exceptional—constantly checking in to ensure my stay was perfect. Her attention to detail made me feel truly cared for. Nadeem was fantastic on the ground, swiftly resolving any inconveniences and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The entire hotel staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The room I stayed in was the largest I've ever had in Istanbul, offering a blend of luxury and comfort. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel. Highly recommend

The location is very convenient. Tram station is just 4 minutes away. You can easily go to Taksim Square, Dolmabache palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia by the tram. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel. Spice bazaar just 5 minutes away walking distance. The guest relations officer Nadeem and Hilal are very extremely helpful and friendly. They made our stay very welcoming. Even the F&B manager Mr Halil is very welcoming and friendly. The view was very scenic from the breakfast area overlooking the Galata Tower and the Golden Horn.

The hotel room furniture is ageing and requires upgrading and also the carpet are worn out. The lighting along the corridor needs to be improved.

The hotel is located in a PRIME location with easy access to all sites we wanted to see, including the Hagia Sophia and the Galata/Karakoy area, as well as the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar. The hotel staff accommodated our requests very well and were very responsive to our needs, especially Nadeem and Hilal. They greeted us warmly when we entered and always asked us if we needed any additional information on anything in the area. The view from the rooftop breakfast cafe is unbeatable - one of the best views of the Bosporus from anywhere in the city. The stay here was worth this view alone!

The building is a little bit older, and our room got a little too hot on our first night here, but after opening up the window for a couple of hours, the issue resolved itself.

The hotel`s location is excellent: very close to the train +metro station, bus stops, tram line and ferry and easily walkable distance to the main tourist attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, the spa with many options and truly relaxing and the hotel staff very helpful, kind and friendly -everybody, all the time-. Nadeem is a brilliant manager who went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and made us feel welcome and well looked after. The breakfast was gorgeous: rich and generous, fresh and tasty and chef Selcuk was always ready to assist anybody with a special request - his warm smile brightened up our days.
