The location is very good! And interior design also good, and food perfect!

The roomcard didn’t work properly! And considering the price much more was expected also not very laughing people and not sympathy was shown. 4-star hotels are better at this, 5-star you expect better. Also there is a pay in advance for the mini-bar of €100 euro. ABSURD!!!

The location of the hotel is very central to the historical sites we wanted to visit. The lane in which the hotel is closed at 10 am every day due to traffic around the area, so I would advise you to come late or early morning to the hotel. The room was nice and cosy, and the breakfast was splendid, thanks to Sekcuk, the head chef. He made sure we were well-fed every day and gave us fresh fruits. The check-in staff, Mahmut, Melten and Umut, were very kind and accommodating to all our requests as it was our honeymoon and they gave a special cake and upgraded our room. A special thanks to Nadeem for helping us out and keeping us informed about the best places to visit and times to visit.

There was no such thing not to like. All features of the hotel were good.

We liked everything! The overall atmosphere, cleanliness, comfort, and especially the food were all perfect. The hotel is located in a calm and convenient area, which made it easy for us to move around the city. Major landmarks and local shops were nearby, yet the atmosphere inside the hotel remained peaceful and private, which we truly appreciated. One of the best parts of our stay was the exceptional service by Mr. Nadeem, who looked after everything personally. Whether it was room service, restaurant requests, or small personal needs, he was always there to assist us in the most professional and caring manner.

The roomsand the hotel as well was good

There is a big issue in the hotel , there are no shuttle access to the hotel we walked long distance to reach a taxi with our bags , and I had big bag 30 kg and small bag as well and rain was falling , I don’t know what to say especially that there was no permission for the hotel bill boys to go outside and help also

From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The building itself is beautiful — full of charm yet modern and fresh inside. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we could need: toiletries, towels, even slippers. But what really made it special were the little touches — a complimentary plate of local sweets, bottled water, coffee and tea waiting for us in the room. It immediately made us feel at home. The staff was warm, kind, and always ready to help without being intrusive. The location was perfect — close to key attractions but tucked away enough to feel peaceful at night. Considering the price, this place is a true value. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but few manage to balance comfort, service, and atmosphere this well. I’m already recommending it to friends and would absolutely choose it again for my next visit to Istanbul

The location itself was great. I also appreciated the building's aesthetic. The SPA was a definite highlight, especially the massages which were fantastic. Breakfast was acceptable, just not particularly memorable. Finally, the elevators were quite stylish and had a cool vibe. Bed was comfy.

So, things were a little mixed up during our stay. First, the housekeeping staff seemed a bit off – Our stay got off to a slightly confusing start. On the first night, we only had one duvet on our kingsize bed, which was odd. Then, it seemed there was a towel mix-up – the hand towels were replaced with oversized shower towels. And when I specifically requested hand towels, the staff brought us bottled water! I ended up having to call reception to get the towel situation straightened out. Also, our room key kept getting messed up every time I went through the security gate at the entrance, which was pretty annoying. The Fish Restaurant was definitely on the pricier side. And the other restaurant just felt like it was missing something, a bit lifeless.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the Old Town of Istanbul within walking distance of many the major tourist attractions: the Spice Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar, the Istanbul Archaeological Museums, the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the New Mosque. The Galata Tower is a the other side of the Bosphorus Strait but is worth the walk. The staff is very friendly. . The breakfast has a large selection of food for all types of tastes including the traditional Turkish breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Nadeem.

Checking in and checking out can be a little slow.

I recently stayed at the Legacy Ottoman Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The staff were extremely kind and professional—especially Seda and Nadeem, who were exceptionally attentive and made sure I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, and the hotel’s location is ideal—close to many major attractions and easily accessible. The atmosphere of the hotel combines elegance and tradition in a unique way, which made the stay even more special. I enjoyed every moment spent at Legacy Ottoman and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. I will definitely return!

The location of the hotel is very good as a distance to famous places such as Topkapi museum, Ayasofia, Gulhane park, Yerebatan sarnici, Sultan Ahmet, Kapali charshi, Egypt bazar, Eminonu square where Bosphorus cruise organized, etc. just 15 minutes walk. The staff are very amicable and helpful, especially Seda khanum who takes care of guests on a daily basis by approaching and asking anything regarding concerns or issues. Hotel services are very good, means any request takes place in a short time. Excellent breakfast organised on the 6th floor where there is a magnificent view of Bosphorus. I would recommend this hotel to others who are looking for an excellent hotel in Istanbul, Sirkeci region.

Nothing for concerns or negative subjects.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Upon arrival, we were given a beautiful but very cold room. We reported to reception that we were cold and that it was impossible for us to sleep in these conditions. They brought us a portable radiator and extra blankets, but the night was still unbearably freezing and we couldn't sleep. At breakfast, we met Nadhim who asked us about our night. We explained our dissatisfaction, and he contacted Buthaina, with whom I was able to speak in French. She immediately took charge of our problem and assured us that upon our return from our walk, we would be given a new room. Thanks to the intervention of Nadhim and Buthaina, our stay in this hotel was pleasant and we thank them again. Nice hotel, in need of a little freshening up, but ideal location. Thank you."
