Was there for a friend's wedding down the river nearby. The view by the river was one of the reason we stayed here but we were given basement floor rooms :/. Still good I would say, could have been better. Love the free refill for water at the dining area. Had a good brief fire execution first time experience too. It's close by the blue house within walking distance

There's plenty of room for improvements especially on the hospitality and operations. We were locked out of our room twice because of a faulty room card. And we funnily had to self service bring our luggage up using their lift from the basement floor. Perhaps hire more?

Just a memorable Stay...... But unfortunate for me I left 2 SMALL Items of Clothing in a Drawer Contacted the Management when i realised i do not have these items BUT Sadly they Cannot be Found this has Annoyed me very Much where could they have gone aq SHEER MYSTERY they were of Sentimental Value They were not in My Case when Unpacking the Next DAY Mrs S Austin

Wonil faces the Swan River, and is an excellent location for my daily walks. The room is clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast which came with my room selection were delicious. The lobby and restaurant after breakfast were generally quiet and makes a good place to work as well.

As I exercise regularly (like many Australians), I would appreciate there's some structure to hang my sports wear to dry at the balcony. The air conditioner is also a little tricky to turn on, but the reception will provide instructions to operate it. There's assigned parking lot but almost every night, my parking lot was taken up by another car, which we end up parking in another lot and had to inform the reception.

The staff were amazing from the front counter through to the restaurant staff especially Aiden and Andrelyn smiling faces every night made my burden of spending all day at the hospital bearable thank you

I spent over a month at the hotel while my husband was in hospital the cost made me leave early I think maybe a discount system would have been appropriate when you have long staying custermers

Been staying at this hotel couple of times this year each time I visit my daughter. Just across UWA, super easy to get across to the hostels. Served by CAT bus on purple line, though you would need to walk to the nearest stop which is about 3 to 4 minutes away (UWA Guild House). The restaurant though has limited menu, but the quality of food has been consistently good.

Not much facilities - my husband has to use the gym at UWA, which is quite a walk. The hotel is owned by the university, hence, no guesses for trimming costs. There’s no self-service laundry service, so it can be a hassle to drive out to Broadway to the Laundrobar.

Loved the quality of the furnishings and fittings, the fact that we had a microwave and full set of crockery and cutlery. Loved the balcony that overlooked the river and outlook from the rooms , and the way you could walk and have a swim at Matilda Bay.

Annoying that the TV did not seem to connect to the wifi - tried every day Breakfast was included with our rate, but you could only have 1 drink and one main, and a second drink ( like a juice or a coffee) attracted an additional charge, as did any additional side you chose with your meal, or even a muffin. I found this very annoying and it changed the experience for me.

The bed sheets were clean and changed daily, the breakfast is 12/10. We always enjoyed the breakfast, even dinner was amazing. The location is convenient and the river view was such a nice bonus.

The housecleaning staff lacks toughness and the reception staff could be slightly more kind. We did have to ask for things, such as a razor, toothbrush etc. we also did have a cockroach inside my cotton pad box.

Excellent location and wonderful 180° view across the river. I was impressed with the staff too - attentive and solution focussed.

I didn't realise that there are only a few secure car bays available for guests and they need to be reserved prior to arrival. This was a problem for us but the receptionist did her best to resolve it once she understood our situation. For this, I was very grateful.

Amazing view of the Swan River from the balcony. Clean modern room and a very comfy bed.

The buffet breakfast selection is quite poor for the price of the hotel room. There is no selection selection of eggs,bacon,beans,tomatoes, and sausages included in the buffet price.These will all have to be purchased at an added cost. There is a lack of cutlery in the rooms, and for a strange reason, there are no chairs or seating available on the balcony. A few small things that could easily be added to make this hotel a cut above the rest in the area.

Beautiful interiors, beautiful location and views. Felt very special. Overall love the vibe of the hotel.

It was a hassle to have to park off the premises. The cooked breakfast wasn’t great and we went down in the last half an hour and the staff were genuinely grumpy at us for doing so which dampened the experience. We got so hot at night and had no clue how to use the aircon. A few downfalls that could easily be improved on.
