A big thanks to the receptionist Suraj. He was courteous and patient. We arrived early and was able to check-in immediately. To our surprise , we were upgraded to a loft bedroom. The room is clean, spacious and quiet. We rode twice on free hotel airport shuttle The shuttle is comfortable. There is a huge Chinese supermarket across the street. Costco is 8 minutes walk away from the hotel. You will see Tim Horton on the way to Costco. Bridgeport skytrain station is 20 minutes walk. Bus #430 is two blocks away. It can take you to 49th Ave and Victoria Drive. We had a wonderful stay!

I wished the shuttle bus will arrive and depart on time.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The shuttle bus is great. The pool was clean and warm. Beds comfortable. Bed linen clean and cosy. Moxies great for a drink or meal in the evening. Good staff and nice atmosphere. Lobby area a nice place to spend time if waiting for shuttle bus to airport.

There was no fan in the bathroom. The heating/aircon unit in the room difficult to operate and very noisy with no "quiet" option for night-time. Would be a good idea for Moxies to have a snack menu for breakfast as many people walk over to coffee shop nearby to get coffee and pastry rather than having a full breakfast. The drinks machine and ice machines on the bedroom floors are very noisy.

Great location if you are flying to/from Vancouver International. Nice restaurants within short driving distance plus Moxies at the hotel. The room included a seating area which was perfect for a repacking of suitcases/carryons before flying. The room was quiet and there was plenty of parking.

Our heating/cooling unit was somewhat louder than expected, but the thermostat worked well and we chose the least noisy function we could find. This was probably an issue just with our room.

I loved the fact that you could make coffee in your room and there was a take away cup available. I was pleasantly surprised by that. Super convenient with the airport shuttle and the staff in the restaurant were very helpful when my room service order didn't go through.

Really, nothing big, but if I have to pick something: I was a little confused about the charges, and I am still not sure about what happened (although they didn't charge me more than I expected). The other thing was that the online room service didn't work for me, so I had to go downstairs and order and bring it up again.

The hotel is functional but clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is out of the centre of Vancouver but a 10-15 minute walk to the Skytrain station so access into the city is easy. There is very little around the hotel itself. There is a Tim Hortons across the round for cheap coffee and breakfast and also a Moxie restaurant on site. We enjoyed our stay. You get what you pay for and this was great value compared to the city centre prices.

The airport shuttle was difficult to find and not well signposted especially as there is another Sandman hotel very close. The pool and gym is tiny. We didn't use these facilities but they looked clean.

Very close to the airport, with an easy and regular free shuttle service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Moxies restaurant on site was really good, and was way better than I expected it to be for an airport hotel. Nice having a small pool and jacuzzi after our flight. Also a small gym on site. There are some local shops nearby for groceries and things you may need. Ideal for a comfortable layover when flying in and out of Vancouver.

This hotel is mostly for travelers heading to and from the airport but we stayed there because of its proximity to things we wanted to do in Richmond. The location is nice, right off the main road and has a coffee shop, grocery store etc within walking distance. There’s a very nice restaurant attached to it. Also has a small gym and pool but we didn’t use either due to lack of time. Our room was very cute with a loft bedroom with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in! Very clean room, nice bathroom. In room microwave, fridge and 2 burner stove with some dishes, pans and cutlery - great for people who like to bring their own food. Free parking in a good sized lot. We’d definitely stay there again.

Nothing to dislike - we’re only there for one night and didn’t run into any issues.

The staff were most helpful in storing our large baggage for 3 nights so we could make quick trip up country before staying at the hotel - that saved us a lot or aggrevation for our mini trip. The separate sitting area from the bedroom was most agreeable and comfortable.

Noisy air con all night, but coolness had to prevail for a decent night's sleep.

The shuttle was useful, the bed was comfortable, and we got an upgrade. The room was quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby.

We got no information about the shuttle, where to catch it, etc. Some information would have helped. The room upgrade, while nice, offered us a strange room. The bed was in a loft, away from the bathroom. At the bottom of the stairs was a tiny opening to squeeze by a desk. Using the bathroom in the night was a pain. The loft was pretty warm despite using the AC.

Exceptionally friendly, helpful, personable staff who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

Long wait for airport shuttle (but we arrived during busy time, and hotel staff were responsive and assuring that our ride was on the way). Local hotel staff had to overcome problems resulting from Booking.com platform apparently transmitting incorrect / extraneous data that confused our last name, causing confusion. Many thanks to Surij, Nancy, and Sarah for investigating to get to the bottom of the problem and resolving everything -- they saved the day!
