I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Hotel, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was exceptionally courteous, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the modern amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a busy day. I also appreciated the variety and quality of the breakfast buffet — fresh, well-presented, and catering to different tastes. The hotel’s location was another plus, conveniently situated with easy access to nearby attractions and transport options.

The basics were there: hot water, good shower pressure, curtains to block out the lights, good mattresses and pillows, no insects. The buffet breakfast was copious and of good quality, the (unheated) swimming pool was nice and clean, and the small communal jacuzzi was a nice plus. There is free parking on site, as well as a bar, a restaurant and a small convenience store.

The room smelled mold, we were assigned a room on the lowest floor so maybe the aeration is not so good there. That floor also looked a little bit creepy. The shower leaked and the bathroom generally seemed to need some renovations. No heating possible, we were a bit cold in the room. The sound insulation was poor, we could hear all the voices and noises from the corridor. Not very central (but centre reachable on foot via a big street).

Great experience. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was relaxing. Front desk personnel were friendly and professional. A few comments: 1. Room. It was really nice. It would've been perfect if it had a mini-fridge. 2. Customer Service. The attendant at the concierge office, where the hotel offers tours and sells various snacks and toiletries, needs to be retrained in customer service. He never smiled or offered a greeting. He needs to be retrained or get a job as an accountant. Otherwise, great stay. Thanks! Bruce

Fantastic choice of food for breakfast, the gym was great, staff extremely polite & friendly, my room was very big, bed extremely comfortable

The hotel is a little way away from San Jose centre, 15 or 20 minutes walk through some unsavoury areas. The opening hours for the gym could’ve been more clearly displayed- several times I went, only to find it closed, even though I’d asked about it at reception.

They was noise late hour at the pool, the facility need a little maintenance, bathroom was not cleaned properly, room didn’t have any fridge and bed was very noisy when turning on it. Chairs and carpet need to be clean a lots of stain. One thing is the saloneers need to be my corteous as a guest coffer turn over on the table and no one provides assistance cleaning the table, the guest him self clean the messed and the table and kneel on the floor and clean the when they was two server and no one provided assistance to the guest

Booked this hotel for my final three days of travelling, and didn't leave it for the entirety of the three days. I enjoyed my stay - the room was large and had two double beds with AC, tea and coffee facilities, a TV, toiletries as well as a shower and bath. There were also two tables so I could work comfortably from different areas in the room. Breakfast was good, although the amount on offer wasn't as large as other similar hotels. The pool and hot tub were great and they had competitive prices for the onsite bar and restaurant, although the shop on site could be stocked with more of a selection! The bar also had snacky things that weren't detailed on their menu, which was great for when I didn't want a big meal! Staff were 10/10 - super friendly and always happy to help.

The ventilation in the bathroom wasn't too good so often it would be wet for hours after a shower! Not many vegan options (none at all in the shop).

Good buffet breakfast starting at 6 am. Comfortable beds, clean sheets, big rooms.

The main gym is only open until 1 pm at weekends, so we couldn't use it. The secondary gym is very small and some of the equipment is not working. And there is no wifi in the secondary gym.

The room was great. Bed was very comfortable air conditioning was good. The room was pretty quiet. The food was not bad in the restaurant. The prices were just as expensive as what one would pay in California. I heard Costa Rica was expensive but I find it unnecessarily so.

Taxes on the hotel bill were high for the restaurant I think it hit 30% in total of the two taxes charged. The breakfast could be better.

The breakfast was delicious! The service spectacular! The beds so comfortable. It setting inside was so peaceful and felt like paradise!

The sign of the ice machine was misleading and I walked around and around to find it. I would also really have appreciated a place to refill my water bottle. I don’t like using single use bottles and would have saved you a couple of bottles had I been able to fill my own.

The place is really nice, the staff is super attentive , safe , the breakfast buffet 😀 amazing. I was there for a whole week .room super clean . Only minus is that they don't have microwave in the rooms so for a long stay is always good to have one .the refrigerator is at your request I will definitely go back!
