The hotel is in a central location to attractions. It’s a clean hotel and rooms are spacious. We stayed there for 4 nights. Staff is friendly, especially Mr. Bautista at reception. He made an extra effort to call and check if we needed housekeeping. The breakfast is nice and the staff there is also very friendly. They dressed up nicely for Halloween and got into the spirit of the occasion. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

A bit more amenities like more hand soap, a box of cleanex tissues in the room.

the rooms were good, friendly staff and very helpful. only problem we had was that the walls were thin and we could hear the room next door and above us. the rooms are clean, we didn't have breakfast, they gave us complimentary water which is cute. I would have preferred a closer location to the center. other than that great experience

Very comfortable. Lovely rooftop. I asked for a quiet room and got exactly that. My room was at the back, however, the rooms at the front looked like they had a fabulous view of the fabulous street. My priority was a quiet room as I am a light sleeper. Very close to everything including metro. I have no faults with this hotel in a fab location. I would definitely stay here again.

I thought the room looked tired and dated, plus the location of where my room was (308) it was dark and dingy during the day. The carpets in some of the public areas, did also look worn and tired with some tears that were visible. In the past I have stayed in 3 other HCC hotels which were graded as ***, where as the Regente has a **** rating. It is only my opinion, but I assume that the 4 star rating is supported by the fact of its location and that it has a rooftop bar and pool area, and not to forget the staff who were all quite marvellous.

Everything was perfect, especially the location. Only had one minor defect: the room had only two electrical outlets, one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. I asked the personnel, and they gave me an electrical extension with three extra outlets. They were very helpful and took the time to find one for us. Very nice personnel. I would return to the same hotel.

Excellent breakfast. Excellent location.

Small room. No microwave or coffee/tea machine in the room. Instead, the hotel should have a 24hr complimentary coffee/tea/water set up in the lobby. The pool ladder should be longer. It's difficult to get out. A safety hazard.

The hotel was very well located and had lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooftop was nice and had great views of the city and sun.

The pool was rather small. The bedroom was very barebones. No art and the window looked right into some sort of industrial shaft.

Breakfast buffet was a disappointment. The eggs had a strange taste and the fruit wasn't fresh or ripe. We chose not to eat breakfast there again after the first morning.

Didn't care for the breakfast buffet. Also, the carpet in the room was really old and worn, and we wondered if it was ever cleaned. It looked dirty and we didn't want to walk barefoot on it.

First of all, the faces of the hotel, Maria and Carla! Those super professional hospitable, beautiful ladies absolutely made our stay! Helped above and beyond! They definitely need a raise for being stars! Also, we really appreciate slippers! Not many hotels have slippers! We also praise the hotel for silence! It was VERY silent and calm! Like cosy heaven! Not often you meet such adequate hotels in Spain! :) This hotel is leading!

The location was perfect, an extension of the famous but overcrowded Ramblas, it had the styling without the crowd. The architecture of the buildings on surrounding streets was characterful - Spanish old-colonial.

The night time noise of street cleaning by clanging machines echoing in the narrow old high-rise streets. Necessary but disturbing for anyone wanting the balcony doors open to sleep.
