Even tho we only spend a night in Kimpton Vividora Barcelona, it was everything we needed and wanted. My boyfriend just got into his dream university and not thinking too much of it I asked the hotel, if it’s possible for them to make it a little bit more special for us, especially for him. They called me to ask for some details: what university is he going to, do we want balloons, what snacks does he prefer (sweet/salty) and if we want a champagne, I was really shocked that they wanted to be so prepared. My boyfriend didn’t know anything, it was supposed to be a surprise, and lady at the reception didn’t disappoint! she was discreet about the cause of our “random” upgrade, Everything was as I imagined and even more! My boyfriend was really happy and I was also, about choosing this hotel for our small celebration, which they made unforgettable, thank you again the best hotel in Barcelona!

best service, location and room!!

I visited on January 2022 and had an absolutely wonderful experience. from the minute we stepped into the hotel the first time until our last day in Barcelona, my husband and I were really thankful with the experience and glad we did not book in another hotel. The staff (all of them with no exception) were all amazing! If you go there make sure to ask about Edward as well, he is Super nice and super helpful! he made sure that our experience was at its best and always helped us with everything related to our stay and our tourism plan without even asking him. Edward if you are reading this thank you to you and your best team :) the location of the hotel was at the center of many attractions - walking distance to all of the main areas in the city. also it is surrounded by supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, all the necessities that you might need. some people wrote reviews about the size of the room. to us it was perfect since we were tourists so we were going to spend most of our day out. also regardless of the size of the rooms and its closeness to each other, the hotel and its location were very quiet not noisy inside at all, unlike our experience in the rest of Europe. So we did not hear any noise coming in from the outside, nor noise coming in from the inside (kids, or any noisy guests). Finally, their beds were amazing and really comfy. we did not get to try their breakfast but definetly will do it next time.

Vividora was in a great location right in the center of the Gothic Quarter but only steps from Las Ramblas. Very quiet and comfortable. We got in early off a cruise but they checked us right in. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was pretty and clean. We upgraded to breakfast and it did not disappoint. Great coffee, pastries and hot items. A big upgrade from your average Hampton Inn! On our last morning the staff made sure we had a cab waiting to take us to the airport even though it was only 5 am.

Staff were friendly and could not do enough, it was my Maxine’s 50th birthday and they wrote a lovely message on the mirror plus placed birthday balloons in the bedroom. They also brought out a chocolate brownie with birthday candles! The roof top bar was fantastic and gave a panoramic view of Barcelona. The location is perfect in easy walking distance the gothic cathedral and even the beach and harbour was only 18 minutes away. Would absolutely go again.

The roof top bar closed at 23.00 hrs, thinking about it though I suspect they have to because of nearby residents and they rightly being mindful of their neighbours!

The room was lovely, very comfortable and clean. The rooftop bar was a highlight.

Breakfast. On arrival we booked breakfast for the following morning and then when we arrived at the restaurant, they didn’t know we’d booked it. The woman in charge made us feel like a nuisance and told us to go to reception afterwards and sign a form. We then went to reception and they told us we didn’t need to. Breakfast itself was disappointing so we didn’t bother again.

The food was excellent. Breakfasts were great and the rooftop bar/restaurant is outstanding.

The room was small and set up strangely. The toilet is in a room that is detached from the shower and the sink.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff is extremely helpful. We got great recommendations and great service during our entire stay (especially from Guillermo). The breakfast was very good (there is a buffet and an à la carte menu included, which offers great choices). The gym had everything needed for a holiday workout (although it is small - only 2 people at a time can truly work out). The room was clean and very comfortable. We got an upgrade upon our arrival, but the room seemed to be of average size (so the regular ones might be small). Location is perfect for visiting Barcelona (very central).

The pool on the rooftop is packed and very small, so it is hard to get a spot (we didn't care about it as we preferred to go to the beach, but thought it could be useful information for others). In all honesty, it is on the expensive side for what you get.
