I wasn't disappointed by our stay, rooms are always clean and we're always welcomed back. The manager, staff, and security make sure the place is safe for everyone and keeps rules in place so that there aren't druggies or people that do bad stuff. They also accept pets, we have cats and we walk them every evening, no one bothers us. Their location is definitely close to downtown and McDonald's and Taco Bell are within walking distance and recently 7/11 opened up next door which great for me because I don't have a vehicle to go drive far for things I or my family needs. Any issues we have are always immediately acknowledged and taken care of, which is why we always stay here.

Our stay at the EZ8 happened at the end of a road trip through the American Southwest. We needed a spot near the airport to grab an early flight. I made a mistake with my booking and accidentally ordered a smoking room, which I didn't want. Thankfully, we received some excellent service from the guy working that night. His name is Kenny if I recall, and he went above and beyond to help me stay. He told me that unfortunately there were no more non-smoking rooms. This would have been extra bad news as my purchase was non-refundable. After a few minutes of waiting in our car in the rain, Kenny ran out, knocked on our window, and told me he found a room that had just been cancelled. He did this in the pouring rain, guiding us to the perfect room we needed. Especially after a long day of driving. He went above and beyond, allowing my friend and I to sleep well and spend our final hours of our trip. He didn't need to do any of it, but he did. The place also has a nice courtyard, a hot tub and seems like a good place for kids to play while their parents enjoy a beverage and good company on the lawn chairs or balcony. Thanks EZ8. The room was clean, you provided clean towels and travel size soap, shampoo and conditioner for me to use. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet, I actually slept through out the night without being rudely interrupted by loud neighbors or loud noises. I would book with EZ-8 motel again in the future.

That the rooms didn't have microwaves or fridgerators. But you provided some for use in the laundry room. Internet wasn't free, I had to pay for an hour use and that wasn't enough time for me to enjoy my online searches and browsing.

I like the location, the staff is friendly and always available to help with anything you may need. Everything works in the rooms and is clean, they have vending machines as well as washers/dryers and 7/11 & McDonald's are literally 10 feet away plus the freeway is just right there too.They are also pet friendly,

No complaints during our stay, the airport is nearby and planes fly over constantly but it's not that loud when you're in your room and you get used to hearing them.

I liked the fact that there was a McDonald's right in front of the motel. The day I checked out I noticed a sign that said there's a restaurant in the back. Upon check in the staff should inform guests about the restaurant.

The young lady that checked me in was very professional and pleasant. Can't say the same about the guy not sure of his name or title. He treated me as if I was bothering him when I had a question for him also the room was decent could of been mopped.

I travel with my elderly Mother. The front desk always makes sure that we have a first floor room. But this time, I booked too late and all the first floor was booked. The GM Lisa had the security guard and maintenance man help me get my Mother to the second floor. They literally carried my Mother with her walker up to the second floor. My Mother said she felt like Cleopatra, a queen being carried. No other 2 star to 5 star place has ever done that! Now that is what I call ABOVE AND BEYOND! Stevan Petrovic

We initially had concerns about the hotel's safety due to the presence of homeless individuals in the area. However, our apprehensions were alleviated when we noticed police officers patrolling the vicinity around the hotel during the nighttime, which provided us with a sense of security. Another important observation is that the hotel's lobby should ideally be open for guests, rather than being limited to a window for document exchange.

Not being able to access the lobby. No shampoo in the hotel. A hairdryer and Iron are not provided. Lack of amenities, like coffee machine and microwave.

The place has been cleaned up and the issues from before have been addressed to make it a better hotel and to have more better clientele stay.

Issues with the front door handle, cosmetic issues with wall by the second bed, wall inside bathroom behind door and toilet is loose at the base. I know in time these issues will be addressed and fixed with new owners.

We really enjoy the downtown area of Phoenix. This hotel is just a short walk from the baseball stadium and several other entertainment venues. The hotel is small not to Grand but they are working on upgrades and adding additional amenities around the area. The management is excellent and extremely pleasant. We really just enjoy coming and staying when we can.

I was lucky to get a room with a microwave and fridge. The fridge was extra cold. The microwave worked too but I had to move it into the bathroom area to plug it in. Two plugs. TV, microwave and fridge. I was OK with it though.

I have gotten worse rooms here in the past but this one was good. Clean. They need to upgrade the plugs. Too bad the restaurant on site has closed. That was a drawing card.
