Almost everything. I esp liked the decor. There were alot of photos and newspaper clippings on the walls which gave you a sense of the history of the hotel and the area .

I stayed from Friday to Monday. On Sununday the the cleaner didnt clean the room .She changed the toweels and made the bed but left obvious paper etc on the ground.

Absolutely loved my stay at Gale. Safe. Great location. Friendly staff. The hotel was only a 5 minutes walk away from Miami Beach and I was spoilt for brunch spots around the corner. There is also a hidden cocktail lounge in the hotel's basement - Medium Cool, 10/10 should check it out! Overall stay was great. Would come back here again.

Unfortunately, the entrance of the hotel was shared with the restaurant. Hence, it was not luggage friendly - was travelling alone so having to carry my heavy suitcase up and down the stairs was not very fun.

I was there on a solo trip, the boutique feel made feeling solo perfectly fine there. I really liked my room and it’s proximity to Miami Beach most popular sites to see. There was also an outdoor mall w/ Macys, Anthropologie, Sephora etc. that was a 12 minute walk from the hotel.

I wasn’t expecting the main entrance to the hotel lobby to be the same one used for the outdoor restaurant. Sometimes navigating running out to grab a snack or meet friends with luggage in tow was alil congested as customers of the restaurant and wait staff were busy using that same entrance. Also I didn’t mind this but note that because this hotel is in a popular area I did find the neighboring rooms on my floor loud/rowdy on Friday/Saturday late night.

The breakfast was great. The hotel labeled bottled water was helpful. I loved the direct beach access and amenities via the Shelbourne. The dinner at Dolce was delicious with top notch service from Danny.

I explicitly asked for a quiet room and was placed in a room that had loud mechanical noises (likely from the elevator) that woke me up the first night. I was much happier once Ramon moved me to a quieter room that had a better bathroom setup and more light. Also, I went down for dinner (no prior reservation but the place was nearly empty) and the hostess tried to seat me by the door in the cafe. I was perplexed when it was clear that I wanted to be seated in the dining room (not in the open cafe on a rainy night). It really put a damper on my experience until I had an amazing meal and service in the dining room.

Good location, pool is amazing with plenty of deck chairs/lounges. Beds were very comfortable!

You enter the hotel via the restaurant at the front. Luggage had to be hauled up stairs- there is valet at the back of the building though if arriving via Uber you are dropped at the front and it is really unclear how to get in the building. Also for families- there is no door on the bathroom, a little awkward for privacy!

The neat and modern design of the hotel + the staff are making the stay cozy and enjoyable. It's rare to find the perfect match, but this hotel is simply adorable. From the early correspondence through the entire stay, Fernando, the supervisor at the front desk was amazing and made our stay feel literally at home.

Slightly small rooms, but if you place your luggage at the entrance space of the room, not a big deal.

Location was perfect, staff were super friendly and the hotel room was immaculate and clean. We parked the car and pretty much walked to every location we visited. Great shopping and restaurant options in close proximity to the property. We were spoilt for choice! We were able to use the pool and beach front facilities of the Shelborne Hotel (the Gale's sister hotel) which was an added bonus. A fun, enjoyable stay.

The property is conveniently located in south beach on Collins, making it an incredibly walkable location. I found my room to be quiet, comfortable, and clean. the bed was comfortable and I’d look forward to staying here again.

I could see the rooms being “too small” for a couple or group however small rooms are incredibly common in Miami so I didn’t find it to be a problem.

The location was perfect for our stay. Very close to the beach, close to the restaurant area as well. Very clean and spacious room. Usable gym, though for only one person at a time. The restaurant is good.

Our room got only one window at it looked at the backyard - the wall of the next building was around 10 feet away, so not much natural light and none of the view. The hotel lists parking - but it actually has only valet service that cost more than a parking next door and you need to announce that you need a car 20-30 minutes in advance, so not really that convenient. The parking next to the hotel (James Ave) is slightly cheaper than valet and if you pay daily rate there are unlimited in-outs. The parking in 13th ave is half the price with no in-outs.
