Walking in the door I went to Reception and an employee named APRIL reached out to help me immediately. I was early for my king bed reservation, yet she offered me a beautiful room, 1049 on the 10th floor with 2 Queen beds and lovely bathroom. I had no view and did not care. I had been traveling and staying in sub par hotels and my 3 days/Nights at JW Marriott Chicago was a delight! BTW, April found my Bonvoy credentials which I was unable to unearth though I called several times and was left hanging without the correct password/numericals. Because of April at Reception, Im going back to other recent Marriott stays and getting my Bonvoy points. I headed to the SPA, as I had made an appointment while on the plane. Anna gave me a gel manicure that looks like it was just finished and it was a week ago. I also had a massage with Christina, at the last minute before I left down and it was excellent. One morning I was rushed and had breakfast in my room which appeared within 20 minutes. It was hot, the eggs were delicious and just what I ordered and the coffee was very good. My room was refreshed every day which has not been the case at many hotels since COVID.

A waiter in the lounge took my order for a sandwich. I tipped him very well, though the gratuity was included and he did not mention that. He also did not seem to care that I mentioned I was in a hurry and I had to ask him to please check on my order. Only employee during my time that was not helpful, in any way. One of the lamps in my room did not work. That may be on me for not mentioning it.

The cost of parking was atrocious, and so was the cost of the meals from room service. We were charged $8.00 for a single can of soda. That is astronomical. I couldn't imagine why my room svc bill was so high and it was bc of the inflation of regular items. $15 for a single kids cup of mac and cheese is insane. The indoor pool was also cold, my youngest couldn't even swim bc he was shaking after 5 minutes.

Super luxury hotel - it is huge, modern and elegant 🥰 very friendly staff and so helpful, much appreciated ❤️ so convenient location as in the city center! Got its own restaurants - all nice with excellent food 🍲 also nice breakfast 🍳🥪 🥞 with lots of options and reasonable price - of course - excellent customer service ❤️ in addition, the room service is fantastic - got the morning tea with lovely succulent plant 🪴 which finally became a little present 🎁 for me when I left the hotel 🏨 many thxxx ❤️ highly recommended 😘 and I am sure u will love staying here too

Comfortable and modern room with a good size bathroom. Location is next to Willis Tower. No wait time during check-in Fast and very friendly room service

Wifi paid (but they manually removed from bill when asked about it) Bill was not clear, they give you credit for the city tax to be used for dining however not clear if/how this was applied on bill.

Beautiful historic building. Very comfortable beds. Spacious rooms and bathrooms for our family of 4.

The bathroom shower door leaked all over the floor every time we took a shower. Used many towels daily just to clean up the water so we wouldn't slip and fall.

Only thing I didn't care for, was the bed. It was pretty firm! My back killed me for days! But Im also used to a really soft bed at home, so I am pretty particular.

Property was nice, clean, and quiet for how busy it was

Breakfast wait staff was not rude but had to ask for simple things like condiments , juices, and water. Even if a la carte if not on the menu they should inform customers what is available for purchase

I didn't book this hotel original as I was already staying at Hilton and it was cheaper but we had a bad experience at Hilton on the fist night that I switched hotel even though Marriott will cost me 3x what I paid for but it was worth the stay! I love Marriott and will continue to book and stay at this hotel.

Very quiet and clean

A waiter in the bar area wouldn’t let us sit down with the drinks we had just ordered at the bar. He said we had to order from him if sitting at one of the tables
