If you are in-and-out for a work trip, this hotel gets the job done. It's located very close to the airport with good access to one of the metro lines bringing you downtown. I would stay somewhere else if I was planning to see Chicago city proper, but for a work trip (especially one outside of city center) this is reliable.

Rosemont (where the hotel is) is a bit odd, but that's not really Aloft's fault! It's clearly an area that exists solely for business travelers (very commercial and not a lot of charm). However, if you are on a work trip and not travelling to city center, then these are nonissues!

A really smart hotel which is just a few miles from the airport. Finding where to park was a bit of an issue and it may have been useful for the hotel to have a standard email sent to you to help you find the correct parking area (unless you want to pay for valet parking) but reception told us how to find it on arrival (it is actually very close by and is in the multistorey over the road - follow the 'self parking' sign and park on the 1st floor which is clearly labelled for Aloft parking). There is then a short skywalk to access the hotel. Right opposite too is a fashion outlet with dozens of shops if you have time for it. The hotel is very cool and modern and has a nice bar area and is well decorated and comfortable. Our room was very plush and nicely decorated and was roomy and bright with a large comfy bed and a very nice bathroom. It was also very quiet. The staff were very polite and professional. Breakfast was a pay breakfast on site but was rather limited and uninspiring so we wandered off to a nearby Starbucks. All in all a great hotel which I would highly recommend for a stay before a flight.

If you are attending an event at Joe’s live or Zannies comedy club, this hotel is in shouting distance and very convenient for that. Aloft hotel is a modern hotel with great customer service.The free coffee in the lobby at breakfast time was a nice thing to see. We didn’t pay to eat the breakfast, but from what I could see from other guests, it looked pretty good.

My only negative experience with this hotel was that the pool was closed and it was the reason we booked this particular location. I pay extra to get a pool and if it is closed I should be compensated for said closure.

The location is very convenient and the facilities are good. I was a little disappointed that the pool was out of commission but the staff was top notch. A big A+ for their efforts to make up for little inconveniences like a broken ice machine and a swimming pool being bailed out by hand.

Aloft in Rosemont is looking a little worn in places, especially the rooms. The sheets and towels are still clean and sharp, but the carpets and finishes are getting a little scruffy. They are clean but you can see the wear and tear.

Lobby area was really nice and cozy. Nice space to work if you have work to do, or just hangout with people. Receptionists were super helpful with any question regarding my stay. I was positively surprised that there is a shuttle bus for free from the hotel to the airport whatever time works for you.

Parking place wasn't very convenient . I had a room which was looking at the back of the hotel, that's a mall looking side. There is a huge LED screen right infront. It was intensely bright from that light all the time. If you don't turn the blinds all the way down, you'll have a problem in getting asleep. Not a deal braker for me .

The decorations and facilities are beautiful. Gym was large and well equipped. Lots of snacks and food available. The airport shuttle is frequent and quick.

People smoking weed right next to us when we were in the courtyard. Looking up the reviews after I saw this was a very common problem. Wish the indoor pool had been open.

The property was featured but I will never book through booking.com again! They offer a price match and do t honor it. This same place was available on other websites cheaper including Marriott. I will never book through them again! Go through somebody else!!

I didn't like that booking.com charged me $204 dollars and I show up to the hotel and they cannot find my reservation. I ended up paying again and not using the already PAID amount from booking.com. I need my money back from this company. Not booking through booking.com ever again.

The breakfast options were limited and you basically get a voucher to buy bits from the counter. Purchased a pot of cereal to then be told I also had to then buy a bottle of milk from the refrigerator. This basically used up my $10.
