Residential (free) parking was easy to find and safe. Quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was fine. The gym was available for free. Transportation (bus) was available nearby. Staff friendly.

The billing was a bit strange. On arrival the entire amount was reserved on my credit card. On departure, the total amount was charged again on the credit card, while the previous reservation was left for a week, reducing my credit card available amount. Subsequent invoices kept coming with dates past the duration of our stay. Messy billing... Replacing towels and bed sheets was done only upon request the day before. The price was a bit high ($380/day for 4 people).

Poridge and cereal selection was good. But did not like cold boiled egg and omlet with cheese. Add banana in the fruit basket. Muffins should be changed not same for everyday. The waffles mix was good. I did not like the port sausages. You may add fresh sauteed vegetables for not meat oe salami lovers.you may add chobani greek yogurt also. Tea and coffee is good. I found one attending staff in the breakfast room friendly and helpful. The other, a bit rude in her demeanor.

I liked porridge. But it was not served everyday. The toaster took long time for toasting. The plastic plates and spoons at breakfast should be replaced. They look very cheap for the hotel. The muffins are served same and it was boring. The brown sugar served was too hard to pick. You may also add fat free milk for the cereal.

The hotel is a very good option for rest. It is 1hr 30 min from Manhattan if you travel by bus and underground. The bus stops that drop you off at the underground entrances are within walking distance, very close. Overall the hotel is basic but very good. The breakfast is simple but good enough to start the day. The hotel facilities are a bit old but for the price and the amenities, it's perfect. The room was small but if it's for 2 people, it's perfect. You have to schedule the cleaning of the room on the desk. It's a perfect choice if you don't want to spend that much on a hotel and you are going to commute every day to Manhattan. If you sacrifice a bit of time, but the savings are very good.

The only thing we didn't like is that they don't have room service, but it's understandable because it's not a resort. The hotel is located in Queens, NY, so it takes a long time to get to Manhattan and the main attractions of the city. The return to the hotel also takes a long time, but the advantage is that it is connected by underground and bus. Do not take UBER or LYFT, it is quite expensive to get from the hotel to Manhattan.

Staff was great. Very helpful and rooms were clean. The hotel had many amenities and was located in a fairly accessible location.

Breakfast was the same every day without much variety and the requirement to part on the street at the price per night for the hotel is not favorable. The requirement to pay extra for parking should be eliminated at this price.

The property was located in a very quiet place, it was clean and private.

The room was very cramped, a bit too small. The breakfast was the same processed pre-cooked menu and sugary drinks from the fountain. Not very good for one’s health.

Location

The phone call I got the night before about not be able to give me the rooms I reserved and try to get me to cancel my reservation. I know it was because it was a busy weekend and they knew they could get more money and when I got there, imagine my surprise when my rooms were exactly what I ordered and there was no flooding. Ummmm This was my daughter’s graduation from Medical school weekend. I was truly devastated about this. Every hotel was booked, Very disappointed in this phone call but I did not let it ruin my stay there which was excellent. That’s why I choose Marriott. I will not stay at the Marriott again.

We stayed here on the last night of our NYC trip as we had an early morning flight to catch out of JFK. this location was perfect, check in was extremely smooth and quick, rooms are decent sized, beds and pillows were comfortable, bathroom was clean, toiletries all provided. Towels could have been fluffier but that's neither here or there.. the best part was it was right across from a variety of halal restaurants which made it easy to just walk across and grab dinner. Breakfast was decent amd the waitress was extremely nice and helpful.

No electric kettle in the room for tea and the coffee machine was very dusty from outside and inside which was a put off. There were no toasts to go with the eggs. Only bagels which we found weird.

Helpful front desk staff, allowed us for early check in, convenient location loads food joints around the hotel, 10 minutes bus ride to the train station

Our 3rd stay here at this property. Staff was accommodating & friendly. Got an upgrade to a bigger room. Breakfast is a plus. Great location. Close to airport

We stayed here for one night before an early flight from JFK, and the location was convenient- about a 30-minute drive to the airport. Perfect if you're traveling by car and need a simple stopover. The hotel offers valet parking for $41 per day, which is on the expensive side, but you can also drive around and look for a free spot on the street. The breakfast was okay, with enough to start the day. Overall, a practical choice for a short stay near JFK.
