Everything, such as shopping,food, and the train is within walking distance. The rooftop terrace is quiet and pleasant. It is a good place to go for a little bit of peace. There is a parking garage down the street where you can leave your vehicle overnight. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I wasn't a fan of the unexpected $100 cash deposit on the room. We have stayed several times and were never asked to do this before. However, there was no problem getting it back at checkout . They sent someone to check the room and returned the money in less than 5 minutes. I just found it odd. Another thing I would prefer is a full set of sheets. The first time we stayed we requested for the bed to be made because there was only a flat sheet. We realized when they came back they made it the same way, it was simply how they did it. So all there is on the bed is a flat sheet and the down feather comforter. There is no other blankets or sheets in the room.

The Room Was Beautiful i got the Master Suite, TV worked great and Everything about the Room was great…..The Location was Ok , Target is next Door and Good food in the Area….

Unfortunately The Maid Service was A Disaster !!! I was Staying for 5 days and they thought I Checked Out or something and They Moved All My Stuff Out of the room and Bathroom and Put it in Kitchen. They put My Groceries in a Bag Next to the Garbage! Not to Mention they Stole some of My Grocery Bags and Some Other stuff of Mine, like my safety pins. I complained to management and luckily they were very helpful. They let me stay later by extending my check out time and also gave me two Starbucks cards as Compensation for what they did. If you stay there, make sure that your stuff is locked and you have nothing of value because they’ll take it. The cleaning staff is sketchy apparently, Otherwise the hotel is great.

The room and facilities were clean, and it was a convenient location to find food and the subway. Walkable areas, easy to locate, close to a shopping mall. The cleaning staff was super friendly and did a fantastic job keeping the rooms and common area clean and tidy.

Noise is something you have to keep in mind when booking here. I could hear others in the hallway or other rooms, including New York noise, but mostly the noise from other rooms. If you are driving, you must remember there's no parking in the hotel. There's one that costs $24 per day.

Staff were friendly and attentive. The AC didn’t work in our room so we eventually got moved to a different room and they were helpful with making the switch.

My only issue was that some days we could smell cigarette smoke coming through our room and that was unpleasant since we don’t smoke. It could have been that we were located on the 2nd floor and the smoke from the outdoor smokers were seeping through our room. We did keep our windows closed the whole time, but it didn’t block the smell.

The rooms were small but nicely appointed, with comfortable beds and new bathrooms. The hotel is quite well-priced comparatively and is close to several well-rated restaurants. It is conveniently located near both JFK and La Guardia.

The area around the hotel feels a little rough. We walked to dinner and to breakfast the next morning, and noted lots of construction in the area. It didn't feel unsafe, but there was a sense of keeping up one's guard a bit. There is a train that runs close by the hotel, so it's a bit noisy.

The hotel was clean. Staff was pleasant.

You had to leave a 100.00 cash deposit for the room I hardly ever walk with cash so l had to use the cash machine in the hotel lobby. I am not used to this l had several credit cards and this should have been accepted as a deposit. Also the elevator was broken so l had to use the steps to leave and there was a man in the stairwell smoking weed he scared the heck out of me.

The location was ideal for my needs: close to transportation, close to attractions and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful, giving me information on services available at the hotel and extending my checkout time. All in all, it was a good experience.

An in-room refrigerator would have been nice, but there is shared access to one in the building. The thermostat in the room was set to C. I only understand F, so this was a small challenge.

Great location to attend the US Open and friendly, helpful staff. Rooms vary by size but ours was a front room with plenty of space. The staff were very accommodating. Also liked that we were right across the street from shopping and parking was reasonable. Great Asian restaurants within walking distance.

I feel like the hotel is just getting started and trying to cater to American standards but are not quite there yet.

The location was excellent!! Directly across the street from a mall and nearby shops and eateries. My husband is in a wheelchair and the one bedroom suite with kitchen/living space was AWESOME! Everything was clean and new and very spacious. The view of the city from the room was spectacular. The staff was great...overall this hotel is truly a gem. I would definitely book here again.

Parking vouchers would have been nice.

This was a great place for our needs. Quick access to our place of visit, and parking, although not connected to the hotel was just a minute walk to the hotel.

There was no refrigerator in our room and no ironing board. The hotel however provided us with an iron and ironing board at no time. Make sure you ask and pay for a room that offers more.
