This is a very good small hotel right across of Gare du Nord and therefore an ideal location when you have an early train. The room was quite small (like is usually the case in Paris) but very comfortable and with a nice design (like in a train). It had a very good large bed and to my great relief it was very quiet with double windows. There is a small cabinet that you can open and where you can plug in your computer and use as a desk. Even if I don't think this would be very comfortable for long hours of work with a laptop, it was practical and supported by very quick wifi. Bathroom spotless clean, a bathrobe and slippers were provided, and a great shower. Very good breakfast in the small lobby downstairs and very kind and helpful personnel. Will come again.

Very clean and comfortable room in a great location, seconds from the Gare du Nord. Fun railway theme throughout the hotel, including in the rooms. Super nice room to come home to after long days of walking around Paris. Great staff, super friendly and accommodating, even for us old dummies who couldn’t figure out the elevator on the first try. Unlike some reviewers we did not find the room small at all. Compared to some European hotels it was downright spacious.

Some of the leather/pleather on the furniture in the rooms was a tiny bit tatty, but meh, who cares? We had an issue with one side of our cupboard where the interior light didn’t turn off automatically as it was supposed to when closed. It created an irritating crack of light that woke me up one night, but the next night we jerry-rigged a solution with the shoe protector from the bed and the problem was solved. Weird problem, I realize, but maybe the hotel can look into it?

Excellent location on a side street a very short walk from Gare de Nord (2/3 mins!). Perfect base for Eurostar and the metro to explore Paris. Small, stylish, very clean and comfortable. Loved the train theme throughout the hotel especially the seating. The bedrooms had complimentary filtered water replenished daily and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Good quality bedding and towels. The buffet breakfast was excellent. A limited choice of hot food but the buffet included everything you would expect and want and there was plenty of it - you could just help yourself. Boiled eggs, cheeses, cold meats, salads mixed fresh fruit salad, yogurts, cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and lovely seeded bread as well as baguettes. Freshly squeezed orange juice and apple juice. Coffee was from a machine but was fine. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. The heating in the rooms was controlled by reception but you just need to ask to have it adjusted. It would have been helpful if we had been told this at check in. It was our wedding anniversary on Valentines day and the hotel decorated the bed, left cake and chocolates and gave us a complimentary voucher for a glass of champagne at Le Train Bleu restaurant. A lovely thoughtful touch. We’d asked for a quiet room which we had at the back of the hotel. It was lovely and quiet but not surprisingly a little small and dark so when we stay again we’ll go for one of the front facing rooms which were much brighter. We’d definitely stay again. Loved it. Exceptional service.

The complimentary tea and milk in the rooms wasn’t automatically refilled and as we were staying 4 nights we needed to ask. A small thing but important to be able to make a cup of tea after a long day sightseeing !

Very well located, a stone's throw to Gare du Nord. It is a busy area but I had a room that faced the internal courtyard so it was not noisy. Rooms that face the street may have some noise, so request a room facing the courtyard. Lovely area to have breakfast and to sit in and relax. The bar turns into the buffet breakfast area in the morning. The bed was super comfy and the rooms are really well appointed in the style of 1920's old railway. Very cute. Good staff at reception - same gentleman at night and in the morning. Whilst I was leaving before breakfast was served he let me take some of the food with me.

The rooms are quite small. If it's a double there was just enough room on my floor for my suitcase. So if it's raining and you don't like to get out much, it may be a tight squeeze. No additional room for a desk or anything else.

I was worried that being so close to Gare du Nord it might be noisy, but it was a short way up a side street off the main area in front of the station and my room faced the light well and was very quiet indeed. It was fabulously convenient for getting an early morning train. A comfortable bed, and the shower had TWO enormous shower heads, so two could shower at once if they liked. Reasonable choice in the breakfast buffet, though you could easily save the 18 euros and try one of the many other options in the area.

The lighting in the room was creative but rather dingy (the bathroom was much brighter). A fold-down shelf in the corner of the room, which might have been useful as a desk, had no light at all!

100 m from Gare du Nord, perfect for an early morning Eurostar departure. The room was very clean, the bed & pillows were super comfortable, the best we’d had on our 2 Month trip through France, it was a pity we had to get up so early! The staff were very helpful & our luggage, which we had stored with them, had been taken to the room ready for our arrival.

Very small room which was a little awkward with a lot of luggage. The shower door opened inward which awkward and the body wash was empty.

Beautiful unique hotel, would definitely stay again. Staff were super lovely and the rooms were unique and super clean.

I would have given 10 points. But something I really don’t agree with. Right now, they have €50 of mine that is taken as a deposit. It should be in my bank, it isn’t. So, the hotel takes it for security, incase we take something or go without paying..but actually, now it still isn’t back in my account. So I’m in deficit right now and definitely shouldn’t be!

Room on first floor was quiet, location is great near Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est and a couple of metro stations. I mastered public transport within a short period of time. Plenty of cafes to choose from for eating options, and nice Boulangeries. Could easily go to Gare du Nord for a snack.

Would have liked a comfortable chair to sit in, in the room. I sat in the downstairs room quite a bit as I have back and neck issues and room wasn’t comfortable to sit in. Would like to see more hooks for hanging things.

Excellently located near Gare du Nord. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Housekeeping was very good. Breakfast was good and varied. Hotel was busy and staff were really efficient in replenishing breakfast buffet when needed.

Small rooms ( although interesting and they had most of what you would expect from a 4* hotel ). No coffee in room. Only Tea. No lemon available to go with Tea. Poor choice of T.V. Channels. Couldn’t find anything in English.
