I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a larger room because it was available so that was appreciated. My room was at the front of the building but had excellent sound insulation - could not hear the traffic or noise from what is a very busy road in front of the hotel. Just a few minutes gentle walk from Garde du Nord - perfect location for exploring. Also good that you are able to leave your luggage at the hotel for a few hours after you have checked out. Friendly and helpful staff who were very indulgent in my attempts at conversing in French. Merci beaucoup!

No problems at all.

Good location in terms of access to the metro (subway), plus many places to eat nearby. The room was okay for our purposes, as we spend most of the time sightseeing. The breakfast was a good value at about $14.00 US. The staff is very helpful, and tries hard to satisfy.

Nothing I can think of that was a negative in regards to the property. A few advisories for Paris, in general: 1. Use a good GPS app. Paris streets are highly confusing. It is very easy to get lost. 2. If you intend to ride the subway, buy a pass for the number of days you're there. It's a good deal. 3. Be careful on the Subway. We were the victim of a pickpocket. 4. Everything takes longer than you think it will. We accomplished maybe a third of what we intended to do. 5. Get the taxi price before you accept the ride, if possible. Have the hotel staff ask the driver, if language is an issue. We were charged about 20 Euros more than the average cost of a ride to the airport.

So convenient for Gare du Nord. Very good value for money both for the breakfasts and the room rate. Comfortable bed. Clean everywhere. Friendly and efficient staff. And being on the 7th floor, the lift was always reliable too - that helps!

No complaints. If you're wise, you don't go to Paris to spend time in a hotel. You go to see things, to do things, to hear things. A decently priced, conveniently located, clean and comfortable hotel is a bonus. And this Ibis fitted the bill.

The staff was lovely and they were all super friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better service. Be aware that Booking.com says there's a kettle in the room, they don't have a kettle this is an issue with he platform not the hotel

Everything went well, only issue was we left our bags in storage and they just let us pick it up didn't ask for the ticket so anyone could in theory go in and get our bag.

Great location .. 4 min walk to Gare Nord and Metro Excellent Boulangerie just up the street .. opens at 6 am .. cheaper to get your breakfast and Baguettes here than the hotel breakfast at 13 euro. All their food and coffee was delicious .. 2 grocery stores just minutes walk away lots of decent restaurants in the area. Moulin Rouge and Montmartre 20 min walk away Very nice garden in the back to relax .. or have a smoke .. Very nice and approachable staff .. thank you to them

Coffee machine and fridge in room would have been nice ... you have to pay 2 euro for coffee downstairs .. adds up Breakfast is 13 euro .. looked ok .. adds up for a family at least a continental breakfast with coffee would have been nice

Exceptional assistance from reception staff. Especially as my father had a severely fall and required ambulance, then repatriation from hotel back to Australia. A quaint morning breakfast - eggs and back sometimes coldish. But best hotel coffee so far - be nice to have small coffee machine or coffee items, jug in room.

No coffee making facilities in room, only a minor inconvenience.

The location is superb, almost in sight of the Gare du Nord and the Eurostar terminal. However, having stayed at the Brussels Ibis, the hotel in Paris is tiny by comparison. We had a very warm welcome, and a quick drink before leaving with our party members for supper. The room was very small, and no space to put clothes. Our room overlooked the main road, which was never quiet, even in the middle of the night. It was warm for October, and we needed the window open slightly. The bed was comfortable enough, but the bathroom was pretty rudimentary. Scarce enough room to swing a mouse, let alone a cat. The breakfast was average, and because the hotel was full, items ran out and the replacement was slow. All the foregoing should not put you off staying at the Ibis. It has a secret garden at the rear of the property, an oasis of calm in a capital city. When one of us became unwell on the morning of our last stay, the staff kindly allowed us to stay in our room until our Eurostar departure in the evening. Its location is close to several very good restaurants, and we paid a fair price to be in a hotel so near to the station. A welcome consideration as we are in our mid-70's. The rates seemed pretty much standard for Paris, but when we booked we had no idea the Rugby Union World Cup was taking place then. On the whole, it was value for money, although a slightly larger room would have been welcome.

The size of the room, and bathroom. Little or no space for clothes. Noise from street traffic, even at night. Little choice for breakfast, and slow replacement of items that had run out.

Great location, comfortable bed. The staff were very welcoming and lovely.

It doesn’t have a kettle for boiling water in case you want to have a tea or a coffee early in the morning, you have to pay for coffee where for this quantity of money other hotels offer a kettle and a coffee and tea inside your room. The bathroom is so small you have to sit sideways on the toilet 😂 and the air conditioner was so loud and noisy when turned on I could barely fall asleep.

Clean and prop room. Short walking distance to Gare du Nord and metro station. Plus point, St. Quentin covered market was also nearby for all those who wishes to experience a French market walk fills with fresh fruits, cheeses, dried sausages, hams, pastries and coffee etc. Here it asked about the location and room. But I wished to add that the staff at this Ibis’s are so friendly, most helpful and polite that makes it all so warm and welcoming during our stay. Especially for my sister and brother-in-law who are visiting France for their very first Europe stops. The hotel held a lovely evening with live music, light snack and wine to all theirs guests on our 1st night. Thank you to all those who makes our visit so memorable.

If any just the street outside the hotel area with migrants lingering around towards the traffic lights intersection in the evening. But otherwise it does feels safe to walk about during the late evening after dinner.

Very convenient location, lovely rear courtyard garden, and very pleasant and helpful staff, with a special mention for Laure!

Booking.com appears to suggest a kettle and safe in the room, but although this is not the case, hot water is available in the restaurant, and the safety deposit facilities at reception are excellent.
