The staff was really helpful, very polite and supportive, many thanks to everyone that was at the reception desk during our stay! The location of the hotel is great (close to railway station/bus station/Metro station etc.), the breakfast is good (especially the croissants and the coffee :)), the room was comfortable, so I would recommend it for short or medium stays for visiting the wonderful Paris.

The carpet in the hallway is old and stained; it gives the impression of uncleanliness and a strange smell in the room. The elevator was out of order.

Fantastic view and historical atmosphere , friendly stuff 👏🏼 Special thanks to the nice man at the reception who gave me such a great room, after a day of work, travelling and arriving almost at night, it made my day much better. Thank you very much!

A bit dated, but I didn't expect much for the money in the centre of Paris

Super location, 3 min walk from Gare du Nord train station. Vety close to Metro station. 10 min walk to Montmartre, 20 min walk to Galeries Lafayette Haussmann

Very noisy neighbour (company of Germans(?)), coming back at 2am and laugh loudly. But after paying attention of somebody from reception situation has improved

The staff was incredibly nice and forthcoming! We had to leave a bit earlier to catch a train and they made sure the breakfast was prepared a littlebit earlier so that we would be in time. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is simple but with quite a few options (buns, croissants, apple sauce, orange juice, coffee, yoghurt, apples...). The hotel itself is a littlebit older but that really is compensated by the staff who try to make sure you have a great stay. For this prize, there really isn't anything to complain about.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location (gare du Nord; gare de l'Est) 10 min walk to Montmartre and Folies bergères. 25 min walk to Galeries Lafayette and Opéra Garnier. Very quiet room and comfortable bed. Built-in closet. Spacious bathroom with hot water!

The bathroom decoration was a bit old but not a problem for me.

Room was small but sufficient. Location was very close to Gare du Nord, convenient for me. Bathroom was great, with big tub, lots of fluffy towels, everything very clean and modern.

Only one tiny elevator for everyone including housekeeping staff, so was often in use by them, so a lot of waiting. Housekeepers were not quiet in mornings in hallways, talking loudly, even at 7 am. Returning guests talking loudly in hallways, at all hours of late evenings. My key card often didn’t work until I inserted it in key slot at least 20 times, very frustrating.

Very Parisian in appearance. My room had two French windows looking over to the Sacre Coer. Bathroom clean and spacious.

The lift was temperamental and tiny. Dining room in the basement and claustrophobic. Limited breakfast choice. I would have paid extra for cold meats/yoghurts etc.

It was within walking distance of la gare du nord. It was clean. The staff were very helpful, polite and pleasant. There was a good selection of items for breakfast.

The only negative was how hot the room was at night - even with the window open! A fan would have been nice.

This is an old hotel, but in good condition, there was also an old but still perfectly working elevator, We had a room with a balcony (note: balcony is sheared). The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the Metro Gare du Nord. The staff was very friendly.

The location was great, the staff really friendly and interested. The room was small but tidy and clean. Due to it being really warm we left tjr window open all day and night and therefore really noisy, however this is the centre of Paris and this is what one can expect 😃

The toilet seat was broken but this didn't hinder our business 😉
