Short walk from Gare du Nord, ideal for us as our Eurostar train came in at close to midnight. Room was not luxurious but comfortable and well ventilated, which was great as we visited Paris during a heatwave.

Bathroom could use a little TLC.

Despite some of the negative reviews left for this property, we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were kept lovely and clean, and the gentleman who kept watch in the evening made sure that we felt welcomed and secure. Some great cafes and shops in the area, and only a few minutes walk from the metro for travel into the centre, or the train station for travel further afield.

The rooms were quite hot, so could use some air conditioning or more fans. Not really an option to keep your windows open as the area is quite busy at night, but that isn't the hotel's fault. The street outside seems to be a meeting point for some of the locals to listen to music, which I imagine would seem intimidating at first, but I went outside for a cigarette every evening and nobody gave me any hassle. You can find much nicer areas in Paris but you would pay significantly more to stay there. A bit strange that you needed to leave your key every time you left the hotel though.

It was in a good location for the train station 🚉 & there are plenty of cafes-bars-restaurants & shops in the vicinity, bed was made daily & there was plenty of hot water 💧 a fan was provided which was certainly needed

Rooms are rather small & the courtyard view was not really a good description of an area in between hotels with bins in, it is a little outdated & could do with a lick of paint, also maybe a few shelves could be added as storage is limited

The hotel was situated between Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est and so was a real hub for transport connections. The beds were comfortable and there was a European pillow and a very long cuddle pillow The water was hot and the elevator was really quiet though it was beside our room. There were a Lethe number of food outlets, restaurants, boulangeries and supermarkets nearby. The staff were mostly bilingual. There were extra blankets if required and good ventilation. There was a beer vending machine in the small foyer.

Our room was nicely decorated though a little dated and the bathroom was a little cramped on the sixth floor with the sloping roof. The wifi was very average and relatively slow. The toilet lid would not stay up which was a challenge for a man.

Great value, especially considering the relatively central location. The room was retro but still very cozy and clean. Would recommend for quick stopovers at a low price.

The biggest challenge was the lack of air conditioning (which admittedly we visited during a heat wave). The hotel is also located facing a club/bar that can get a little noisy at night.

We loved the sense of it being a traditional old Paris hotel. Fascinated by the old shoe shiner machine in the dining room m. Friendly welcome. Good convenient location, close to Gare du Nord. Good eating places nearby. We liked the little balcony. We would return.

Bathroom was a bit small ... we are both 6 foot tall. The shower worked well but there was no hot water. We overheard a comment from a staff member that the water heater had stopped working that day. I got the impression that it was an unusual occurrence.

Very close to Gare du Nord. Staff was friendly and eager to help and advice (I had a problem with a Eurostar cancellation and the lady at the counter was very empathetic and friendly helping me, a senior citizen, to solve it). Good breakfast. Paris accommodation is always expensive but here the price was very reasonable for a place that's less than a 5 minute walk from the station.

Great location and good value for money. I stayed here for 3 nights and slept well.

I left my luggage as I arrived early before check-in time. Reception asked me to leave the bag near the seats in the lobby and said she’ll take care of it. I believe there was a room for luggages, if not then maybe take your bags with you. I came back 2 hours later the bag was still in plain sight in the lobby for anyone to take it. Glad it was still there!

Great value for money in an expensive city. Location so close to Gare du Nord was ideal. Late check-in was a key feature for us and very much appreciated. Shower was nice; temperature and pressure just right. Room is rather compact but that was expected so no marks dropped there.

Minor detail was the lack of somewhere to hang a coat. A coat hook on the back of the door or somewhere would be a cheap and simple fix!

Excellent location and close to Guard De Nord station and a 5min walk to the metro, close to everything and just a train ride away, staff were very friendly and helpful to me as an English speaker. Room was small but cosy and had a Juliet balcony which was great to watch the world go by, felt very safe where I was and has a 24 hr concierge which was excellent. I would stay here again.
