Luggage storage: On the day of arrival or departure, you are able to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Staff: The staff were helpful from the beginning to the end of my stay. I had my prescription sunglasses shipped to the hotel. When my glasses didn't arrive on the expected date (due to a misunderstanding), the staff at the front desk called the company for me to figure out when my glasses would arrive. The staff also notified me when my glasses had finally arrived. Amenities: You get a daily amenity package with clean towels, a clean yukata, paper cups, tea, coffee, sugar, cotton pads, and Q-tips. Cleaning: The room gets cleaned every three days, but you can request room cleaning. Location: The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the station; it is mostly flat, so it is doable with a big suitcase.

Location: The hotel is located near a big road. Occasionally you will hear emergency sirens, sound trucks, and any other loud vehicles. So, if you are a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you. Room size: I had a small single room; it is very small. Luckily, I could squeeze my large suitcase between the bed and the wall. But I had to use the "hallway" of my room when opening my suitcase and make sure not to trip over it, haha.

Great location with short 5 min walk to Kyoto Station. Entrances on both sides of the building made it easier to short cut in the right direction. 7-Eleven right next door. Domino's pizza will deliver to your room if you are too tired to go out. Public bath available (although didn't use during our stay).. All lights controlled from the bedhead which was convenient when going to sleep. Limited free in-house movies which included Foreign Movies (aka English language). Lots of Japanese on demand TV (just be aware of the Adult Content if you have kids - didnt see any locks for this).

The bathroom is extremely small. Sitting on the toilet, you are looking at your reflection in the steel toilet roll covers. The bathtub barely fit one person. The in-house laundromat needs more machines (only 3 in the public area) given the size of the hotel. Each wash took over two hours so always a wait.

Location. You can walk to the station . The best way to find the hotel is to take the same street like the tower hotel. Will take only 5 to reach the hotel.

I get one room that was very dirty , I was in the reception and the visit the room and was agree with me. They change my room.

Close to the Kyoto Station, which is very handy. 7-Eleven just next door. Close to a few restaurants.

Was all ok as expected. Good value for money.

The hotel is located just a short walk from Kyoto Station, which makes it extremely convenient for getting around the city and visiting all the major attractions. The room was small, as expected for Japanese business hotels, but it was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The staff were friendly and efficient, and check-in was quick and easy. There are also many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a practical, clean, and affordable place to stay in Kyoto!

After having stayed in an APA hotel in Tokyo which we loved, we were happy to have chosen APA again for our stay in Japan. APA always meets its standards with clean rooms with everything you need. You get nice quality shampoo, shower gel and conditioner, new towels and pyjamas daily, slippers and a few extra amenities. It was centrally located right next to the bus and train station. I would definitely choose APA hotel again in Japan since it's cheaper than other hotels and it still meets your expectations.

Too expensive for such a tiny room:( 2 check in suitcases barely fit. No view even on higher floors. The bed was for 1.5 person and not a double bed:/ It had different dimensions than the bed we stayed at in Tokyo APA.

If in Japan, I do tend to stay with this company as they have hotels all over Japan and I think they are a decent price for Japan. The room standard size for Japan and the hotel has a laundry, ice machine, VOD TV, this one also had a free Onsen for both men and women to use (separated). Located next to the main train station/metro lines and Skydeck

Restaurant on site seemed to always be reserved for business functions in the evenings, so don’t expect to be able to eat there! Busy/Popular hotel for foreigners!

Free public Onsen is a bonus, it has an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a cold bath and sauna. The onsen closes at 1am daily and great way to wrap up with a relaxing soak a long day of sightseeing. Great location within a 10min walk from Kyoto main station. There is a morning coffee shop, Lawson and 7-11 stores nearby the hotel. A short 5-10min walk through a neighborhood to Kyoto Station. There is a bar fridge, kettle and hair dryer in the room.

Rooms are tiny and cramped for two persons with large luggage. There are no luggage racks in the room too, so ended up putting our bags all over the floor and desks. Rooms are not automatically made daily, and only when you put a sign outside your door to make your room.

The fact that this hotel have onsen is really big plas. Personally I can sed only good things about this hotel. Really clean, you got new towels, bathrobe and Coffee every day.In bathroom there are shampo, conditioner and body wash. Plas in the bathroom you get combe, small towel, toothbrush, toothpaste and more. Rooms have panel next to the bed with all lights and conditioner. So all rooms are fully equiped. What more the breakfast was exelent. You will found variety of choise from European to Japan options. Full drink bar: coffee hot or cold, juce, tea, whater and more. The all staff was really nice and helpfull. You can asked for cleaning every day if you need free of charge. Normaly every 3 days. Moreover hotel is located 7 minutes by walk from Kyoto station. And 15 minutes by walk from some monuments. I am remomending this hotel to everyone.

I will miss Kyoto and hot springs and foods. Apa staff, thank you for taking care of me and my family during our stay. I respect how clean it was, and we loved the delicious and healthy breakfast.

You might get intimidated by the small room size and toilet. I did too, at first, but then I got used to it and realized you do not need massive rooms to feel comfortable. That is why I recommend traveling to Japan with small or medium luggage - easier to stow away. Buy a big one at the local store! Awesome deals...
