The best hotel we stayed during the trip. The room is spacious, 2 beds and a bunk bed. The shower is roomy with both a bath and a shower. The toilet has a toto and a sink. The washer also has a drying option, which takes long, but it can dry the clothes. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. There is a water station at the front desk as well. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to kyoto station and there is a bus stagion in front. The hotel provides a shuttle to different locations, we didnt use the service though.

I loved the hotel! The AC couldve been colder, but then again we like it at 18⁰C.

Amenities in the room were plentiful to include a full kitchen with utentils, rice cooker, refrigerator, dining set for 4 people. There was also in unit laundry machine, dehumidifier/humidifier, vacuum. The bed set up was easy for the sofa bed with clean sheets. The bath room and shower area was large. The staff at check in were very kind and accommodating, allowing us to store our baggage before check in time and after check out time. There is also a hotel sauna that guests can use for free for 1 hour per day per person. Location is great right next door to a FamilyMart and about 15 minute walk to Kyoto Station and 5 minute walk to the nearest city bus stations. Overall the with the affordable price, we had so many amenities and great service with a great and spacious room for 3-4 people.

Check out time is at 1000 which is a bit earlier that most places that have check out at 1100.

The room had everything you could want in a little apartment: kitchen, oven, microwave, refrigerator and a nice table to eat. The area between two twin beds and the bunk beds is nicely separated. Same with the toilet and the shower! They offer a nice bus ride to the golden temple which saves you time and money! You leave at 8:10 and arrive 8:50. Then, you can grab the bus back at 10:00 or 11:00 am. It was great!

Location. Although it is near the train station. It is still a good 1.2-1.4 km away depending on which line you arrive at. The Kyoto station is HUGE. Kyoto is pretty big, the metro/subway is not as connected as in Tokyo and although there was a bus stop right outside of our hotel, we read that locals really didn’t like tourists using the bus, so we just used Uber (on average 10usd each way). My advice would be to stay near Gion or Nishiki market if you are spending a limited amount of time in Kyoto, otherwise this is a great place.

Superb comfortable room, the futon and tatami was great. Spacious room and great ambience. Super responsible and helpful staff. Very friendly and informative too. Great recommendations of restaurants nearby.

Little flaw was with the hot water. Might just be a winter problem, or my room's problem. Initially takes sometime fo get hot water. If try to make any slight changes to water temperature at all, in any way, hot water will be cut and need to wait again. Not too big of a problem if you'd just stick to a water temperature i guess.

The location near to Kyoto Station within 10-12 minutes walk. The facilities inside the room was great from the washer, microwave, stove, cutleries and kettle. Room was clean. The staff was great.

The main reason we didn’t stay at this hotel for the first 5 nights because they really fix on the check in time. We arrived early in the morning and maintain the check in time 3:00pm while the other hotel allows us to check in early by 12:00 pm without extra charge as we have a baby age 18 months. We only stay on our last night here coz we cancel our stay in Osaka and remain to stay in Kyoto however the first hotel was fully book on our last night in Kyoto but we didn’t regret to choose this hotel as the room was fantastic too

This is a lovely hotel, small in comparison to the other MONday hotels, but room was sparkling clean, super white sheets and pillows. Nice and quiet even though close to road. About 20mis walk from station. Some of the sights like the beautiful Kinkaju golden temple/Arashima bamboo forest,are difficult to reach by public transport, but these hotels provide a free drop off/ pickup, which was fabulous and such a bonus. Another absolute plus, is free tea/coffee throughout the day, so for breakfast you only need to buy eats. Family Mart next door so very convenient. Sweet very pleasant staff who were always smiling and couldn't do enough for you.

NOTHING!! This hotel is everything a hotel should be.

The room was surprisingly large and spacious, with a generously sized table, a couch that we could rest and lounge on, as well as a kitchenette area. There was a separated shower and bath and laundry area as well, which is awesome. It was nice to do laundry and not have it in the common room, making noise. Highly recommended!

The toilet/WC was located in the small entrance where you take off your shoes. This was slightly less convenient but not a real issue or a dealbreaker. We just had a lot of shoes that didn't quite fit on the shoe rack, so that meant the entrance became a bit cluttered and harder to walk.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy 10 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Lovely room with very comfortable beds, great bath and shower area, so helpful to have kitchenette and washing machine/dryer.

Only feedback we can provide to the hotel for improvement is to have some bigger microwavable bowls in the kitchenette and to provide tea bags and coffee. The frosted glass on the windows is also something we didn't like - we would have preferred to see out, even if it's just onto the building next to the hotel.

Room was clean. Staff are lovely. Facilities in the room were great. We made our own breakfasts before heading out for the day. About 10 min walk to Kyoto station. The bus system around Kyoto is fantastic and the bus stops around this hotel took us in many different directions to see different areas of Kyoto so was a good base. Lots of restaurants in the area, particularly around Kyoto station.

The futon mattress for the kids. They are quite thin and directly on the floor. My kids are 15 and 12. Had I realised, I probably would not have booked this hotel.

Staff were exceptional. Helped us make a reservation with the local language. Provided many tourists tips. Room is very big and comfortable. The washing machine was very useful.

10-15 minutes walk from the train station with luggage was a bit hard. Most of time there was no sidewalk. Hotel has no shuttle bus to the train station.
