Layout of the room is fantastic, feels spacious and comfortable. A nice placement of the couch and the bed. The room feels sufficient sound proof and the inner door of the rooms adds to the feeling of an inner sanctum. Bathroom is amazing too, very spacious shower room which is closed off so you can shower without splashing. The water pressure is fantastic and the hot water is readily available. And you're very centrally located, less than a minute walk to the train station, a lot of great places nearby.

Nothing.

Location in particular exceeded our expectations -- close to many metro lines making most parts of Tokyo well connected. Despite not being commonly recommended for access to public transport, we noticed that it was actually very easy to reach most attractions / areas / stations compared to other areas we considered staying. Staff was great, with service almost on par with 5 star hotels we stayed at in Japan. The room we had was spacious enough, especially for Tokyo standards.

The only minor downside for us was that a smell in the bathroom that was resolved through ventilation or keeping the fan on for some time. Also the hair dryer was not very strong, but this is typical for almost any hotel.

Alfit was a phenomenal central home base for a little over a week in Tokyo. Close to a ton of trains, walkable to a variety of neighborhoods, and steps from excellent restaurants, shrines, and shops. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful, housekeeping staff do a great job, and the rooms (while small) are well laid out and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again!

I wouldn't do the breakfast add-on again. Offerings were little frozen pancakes, breakfast sausages, frozen fruit, salad cups, and all-you-can-drink prosecco. If I were a morning drinker, the prosecco might have been a selling point.

Good price for a very clean and really well located hotel close to three metro stations on different JR lines (we had a busy schedule each day). The area felt very safe even late at night, not touristy at all, and rooms were quiet. Pleased to discover there were plenty of nice restaurants and bars between the hotel and Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, full of locals rather than tourists. Convenience stores were very close by as well. Beds were comfortable and the pajamas were a nice touch. The hotel staff were really friendly and professional. They were responsive handling questions before we arrived. During our stay they helped with arranging the suitcase delivery to our Kyoto hotel, and booked a taxi for us so that we could go to the Toyosu market tuna auction one morning before the metro lines started running. Breakfast was served in the lobby/bar area downstairs and the menu was simple but well done: pancakes, ham, sausages cooked to order; plus a small continental selection; good coffee with fresh milk; prosecco was a bonus! We didn't use the bar in the evening but the prices seemed reasonable.

A small suggestion would be to increase the variety and amount of gluten free options at breakfast, as one of our guests had recently been diagnosed as celiac. The rooms were on the small side with no window views; manageable for one person but for two people sharing a room it was difficult to work with two suitcases at the same time. However we appreciate that this is standard for central Tokyo, and we had all agreed on sacrificing space for a good location for four nights. Others might prioritise space and views though especially if planning a longer stay. It would also be nice to see less single-use plastic being used, e.g. water refill point rather than using bottled water, though again it seems to be standard in the places we visited during our trip.

The design of the room was very nice, Very clean, changed bedding every day

The room I booked was very small and no window, I had to upgrade for a room of normal size with window even though you could still not see outside at least you knew if it was day or night,

The location is so prime. it is very central and you can get to all the best places in Tokyo in under 35 mins by train. The location is probably the best part about the hotel honestly. Akasaka is an awesome area plenty to eat and drink but not chaotic like Shinjuku/shibuya. Staff is efficient and most spoke English. Free waters and coffee/tea every day. There is a bar lounge area in the lobby for guests.

WiFi kept going in and out on the 4th floor for us. Was fine in the lobby. You could get around this by disconnecting it and reconnecting entering the password but having to do it so many times was annoying. It was fast when it was connected though. Breakfast was only a croissant and coffee but it’s free and honestly there was so many awesome places to go out and eat breakfast at you’re not going to want hotel breakfast anyway so this really isn’t a negative.

Great facilities provided in this hotel. They provided free croissants and coffee in the morning for breakfast, and popcorn in the evening as a bar snack. Amazing location, there were quite a few cafes, restaurants and convenience stores in the proximity of the hotel. It was just a 3-4 mins walk from the Akasaka station on the Chiyoda line, around 9 mins walking distance to Tameike-sanno station on the Ginza Line, and around 9-10 mins walking distance to Akasaka-Mitsuke station on the Marunouchi Line, making it easy to get to many attractions around Tokyo. The room was comfortable and snug and had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they also provide early check-in at 11 am / 1 pm for a small fee.

The room was a bit crammed for 2 people with 2 large suitcases, even with the Superior Double Room, that's the only thing we didn't like at this hotel.

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It wasn't in a super touristy area and very close by, actually on the way to the metro, there was a lively nigt life street that I enjoyed walking through every night. There was also a beautiful shrine within walking distance. It was fairly easy to get to any part of tokyo from here. The room was nice and spacious. Bath and toilet were separated which made the bathroom also a bit more spacious. My only issue was that the roof of the bath was very low due to the raise the bath tub gives. (I am just over 6ft 185cm) I had trouble showering and standing, BUT luckily it was a tub so I could just sit there as well. Which ended up being a better option every night after a long day of walking. I was able to connect my netflix straight from my mobile app to the tv when i wanted to relax at night.

My only issue was the lack of a laundry room. In order to do laundry i had to go a few blocks to find a coin laundry which was a bit expensive compared to the hotel laundry i had used in previous cities.

This was a good hotel in a really nice area. The area had fewer tourists and more offices and businesses. there are three subway stops about a 10 min walk each to catch a convenient subway line. Nighttime is busy with lots of restaurants and bars to choose from and since they are geared for locals, there are lots of good choices that do not feel touristy at all. Staff was helpful with a dinner reservation. We did not get the breakfast as there are multiple 711 and Family Mart's close by. Good hotel but a great location.

A great welcome, location and the room looks really nice. Everything super clean. But the toilet must be the best thing 😁

Room is a bit bigger than usual rooms in Tokyo, but its layout made opening a suitcase quite difficult. Can't imagine 2 suitcases at once. But that's a minor problem, I could manage just fine. What was bothering me more was lack of decent light in the bathroom. Putting a makeup is impossible if you don't have your own mirror and move around the room, to get some proper light. Overall, it was a really good stay even with these complaints
