Second time I stay at this property, and while it is a little "tired", I love it. It is a large complex comprised of three hotels (part of the same group) that share a beautiful park, with a lake and a shrine. Great service, conveniently located close to the Shinagawa station, but a little removed from the typical hustle & bustle of Tokyo. Wide rooms, clean, convenient, and great service.

The good and bad is the position: if you want to stay close to Shinbashi, Asakusa, or Shibuya, then this is not for you (though all these are easy to reach via metro). On the flipside, being a little away means you can enjoy quiet evenings and much wider rooms.

Decent location near the train station. However, note that the hotel is up a hill; if you are travelling with large luggage this may be an inconvenience. Overall the hotel was great, but there is a lot of construction going on in that area as of Feb 2025.

Booking should make an effort to indicate if the hotel is undergoing renovations and if construction will be occurring during your stay.

A very large room for Tokyo. Good shower pressure and bathroom suite.

They could have a dedicated English speaker at reception. As sometimes it was difficult to communicate with the staff (a me issue as well). Very gear towards the business traveler.

The hotel is lovely. The decor is maybe a little dated but it's so well kept, it doesn't matter in the slightest - it's quite charming. It's located a short walk from the well-connected Shinagawa station, which is about 25 minutes from Haneda (on the Keikyu line), Shibuya and Asakusa (on the Yamanote line), and is served by Shinkansen trains. Because we arrived much earlier than check-in, the bell captain took our luggage and kept it for us, and after a quick check-in later on, we found our room, which was reasonably spacious and had an *enormous* bed and a view of Tokyo tower. They offer an easy online ordering service for extra bits like bottled water, tea & coffee and towels. We didn't use the restaurants but they looked very well put together, and the 7 Eleven on the ground floor was very convenient. All of our interactions with staff were great; they also had a set of scales for us to use for our bags when we left, which I'm now used to hotels charging for.

There was a thick layer of dust under the bed and there were no vegan options in the restaurant from what we could tell (but that's not out of the ordinary in Japan tbf). The bed is quite firm, which I LOVE but I know some people aren't into.

During our stay in Japan, this was one of the bigger rooms we were in and it was lovely. We had a king bed and enough space to have our suitcases open! The staff were very helpful in checking us in/out and assisting us with luggage transport to Osaka. Honestly, one of the most convenient things about this hotel was the 7/11 that was open until 1am in the lobby. We did not have the breakfast service or try any of the restaurants in the hotel, but we heard good things from others during our trip. It is within 5 minutes walking of Shinagawa station which is very nice.

As others have stated, you have to walk uphill to get to this particular hotel and the first night with our luggage was not fun lol. But once you get everything up there walking up and down without baggage isn't a problem.

Hotel should have its own shuttle to it from Shinagawa Rail Station. It is a hustle to get a cab there.

The facilities and staff couldn't have been better, the gardens were lovely and it was stunning in the evenings. While the train station isn't immediately close it is a very useful station, especially for Shinkansen. The hotel felt very comfy and the staff were all amazing.

It's not actually near anything, the walk from Shinagawa station is a mission if you don't know you can pass through the other Prince Hotel areas, especially with luggage. There's not a ton to do nearby, but the aquarium was excellent. It's also under a flight path now, which means during the day planes are going overhead a lot.

Right from Check In everything was amazing. Our room was lovely with a view of the garden. We were travelling with my sister and her husband, and they were given the room next door which was perfect. I received a complimentary bottle of bubbles as I was celebrating my 60th birthday, this was a lovely touch. The breakfast was lovely and with lovely view of the garden. The garden is really pretty and connects to a sister hotel which meant there were so many food options for dinner. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and very helpful! We really enjoyed our stay.

I spent in this hotel eight days for a work trip and I was happy that I chose this one for such a long stay. The room was very nice, breakfast excellent and enough variation for a long stay. Staff were very kind and great service attitude. And then the extra surprise: hotel's beautiful and large Japanese garden! It was beautiful during daytime and even more so, in the dark.

My flight back home left close to midnight and the check out time was 11am, so I needed a place to work with my laptop and to plug it. In such a big and modern hotel, it was surprising not find such a place.

The gardens were really nice and 7/11 was very convenient to find it in the hotel.

The hotel looked a bit old, especially the bathroom and the carpets. I got a threat of receiving a fine for smoking even though in my room was nowhere said how much is the fine, how should I have known then? The stuff spoke broken English, but when writing this threat, the English suddenly appeared. During a freezing days the hotel had no central heating so I received only a small heater which helped but still I found that incredible that while freezing temperatures outside they had no AC working.
